The next free games for the September PlayStation Plus lineup have been revealed by Sony. There's a lot to get excited about this month.
First up on the PlayStation 4 is Lords of the Fallen, which is a game that has been heavily inspired by the Dark Souls franchise. If you'd like a brutally challenging melee combat system then Lords of the Fallen is worth picking up for free this month.
The next game available on PlayStation 4 is Journey. Many of you may know Journey to be one of those timeless classics that absolutely everybody should play. Journey is an indie game with an impressive set of 2D graphics and a beautifully displayed story. Journey can also be picked up for free on the PlayStation 3 this month.
The next game for the PlayStation 3 is Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. There was a time where the Prince of Persia action games were a big deal, so if you're looking for some classic 3D platformer action, then The Forgotten Sands is where it's at.

A brand new image has been posted to the Killzone twitter, suggesting that something will be coming "soon." Despite how vague this information is, it’s pretty clear that whatever that something is, it will be big.
We can only speculate at this point in time - despite the announcement on the Twitter page, we have heard very little from within the Guerilla Games studio. No rumors have been spread in relation to Killzone over the last few months, so once again, we’re pretty short for answers.
Some Killzone players are suggesting that the new announcement may be somewhat related to the PS Vita game, named Killzone Mercenary. Mercenary was released in 2013, so it's completely possible that the game could be receiving a timely update.
Alternatively, there could be a completely new Killzone game for the PS Vita. Considering the 2 year gap since the last PS Vita title, it's not unreasonable to think Guerilla Games may completely scrap Mercenary to work on something completely

Sony has just revealed their new lineup of free games for February, and players with a PS Plus subscription will now be able to head to the PSN store to download the new free games. As per usual, there are a variety of six games for free this month, two for each platform.
PS4 - Apotheon
Apotheon is a Greek mythology inspired platformer game filled with lots of button mashing combat. The game was originally released as an arcade title for the PS4, and it is fairly new.
PS4 - Transistor
Transistor is a sci-fi themed action RPG game made by the same developers responsible for Bastion. The city environment in Transistor is pretty epic, and there is a good few dozen hours worth of content to be played in the game.
PS3 - Yakuza 4
Yakuza 4 is an action adventure game developed by SEGA. It features various different mini games and modes related to fighting opponents. There is a bit of a backstory to Yakuza 4 that has been handed down through the franchise

After a two week delay, Sony have finally revealed the next lineup for the monthly free PlayStation Plus games, and for October, PS Plus subscribers are in for a big treat.
Firstly, DRIVECLUB has now been released, and players can pick up a free copy of the game with a limited amount of features - whilst DRIVECLUB has debuted this month, it will remain free for PS Plus subscribers forever.
The PlayStation Plus version of DRIVECLUB is fairly limited. For example, PS Plus subscribers who do not pay for the game will only get access to 10 different cars and 11 different tracks to race on. In essence, the PS Plus version of DRIVECLUB is more like an extended demo.
As for the actual October PlayStation Plus games, The PlayStation 4 has Dust: An Elysian Trail and Spelunky available for free this month.
On PlayStation 3, Batman Arkham Asylum has been put up for free, and players can also grab Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystaria. Finally, for the PS Vita,

The new game lineup for the PS Plus games on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita have now been announced, and whilst it's lineup may perhaps be the weakest it's been for a few months, there's still a decent amount of free games to delve into. As usual, the lineup spans six games across all three current PlayStation consoles.
For the PlayStation 4, PS Plus subscribers will be able to get their hands on Velocity 2X, a fast paced side scrolling platformer that has a wide range of cool shooting, teleporting and other great sci-fi mechanics. The second PS4 title is Sportsfriends, which is a great party game filled with all sorts of quick arcade and puzzle games that people can play together on the same console.
On the PlayStation 3, All Stars Battle Royale has been put up for free - this is a great game that pits together all of PlayStation's best known video game characters and sticks them in the same arena for a Super Smash Bros' style fighting experience.

In a strange turn of events, PS Vita owners went from feeling pleasantly surprised to disheartened and disappointed, all in a matter of a day.
Last week, without any words from Sony themselves, every single PlayStation Classic and PSP game were put onto the PlayStation Network, available for download onto the PS Vita. It was a strange move, and the change was originally noticed by members on NeoGAF.
Games like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot 2 were made available through this event, and many PS Vita owners managed to bag quite a few titles whilst they were available on the PSN store.
However, shortly after their appearance on the PSN store, all of the PlayStation Classic and PSP games were removed, again without a word from Sony. If you managed to download any games, good news is that you'll be able to keep them, but for those that missed out on the event, you may never get a chance to see these ports again.
This whole fiasco did show us that it's completely possible

Despite PS Plus now being a requirement for online play on the PlayStation 4, Sony aren't stepping down in any way when it comes to freebies and extra loyalty programs for PS Plus subscribers.
I've been a fan of PS Plus ever since the monthly free game rota was added, and since then I, along with many other PS Plus subscribers have picked up quite a few great titles for our PlayStation 3's and Vitas.
The details for February's PS Plus games have now been announced, however details aren't clear on whether these games will be strictly for Europe PS Plus subscribers, or whether North American PS Plus subscribers will get the same free games as well.
For PlayStation 4, the indie horror game Outlast that takes cues from games like Slender will be made available for free next month, but if that doesn't take your fancy, the roster for February's PlayStation 3 games should certainly get you excited.

Since Sony announced the free monthly PS Plus content, I've always got excited to find out what new games became available at the start of each month. This month, things are still worth getting excited for, and Sony have packed December with a bunch of great games just in time for Christmas.
The biggest free game on the list this month is Borderlands 2- this game has been out for a while now, but a recently refreshed GOTY edition shows that there is still value to the game, so being able to get it free this December is quite nice.
Next up on the list is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the PS Vita. Not a game I'd spend money on, but seeing as it's up for grabs for free this month, I may find myself playing it in my free time. If you're not at all interested in Sonic Racing, you'll also be able to play GRID 2 on the PS3 this month for completely free too.
The final PS3 game is Dyad, although this one would probably be more suitable for a PS Vita port- unfortunately

Despite not being released that long ago, Warner Bros. has unveiled the new Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition this week.
The Ultimate Edition will include all of the current available DLC, along with a copy of the original game.
The Ultimate Edition will also have a wider release than the original version, and will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. The release dates have been set for November 12 in North America and November 19 in Europe.
The extra content will include previously added characters such as Batgirl, General Zod, Zatanna, and Martian Manhunter.
There isn't any information on any improvements for the PlayStation 4 version, and it seems as if Warner Bros. have not taken the opportunity to release it for Xbox One.
The PS Vita version will be a slightly downgraded version to the console version, however the development studio behind the handheld port, Armature, is putting a lot of effort
