After reaching level 20, a lot of players in Destiny have resorted to strange methods to try and collect the most amount of loot possible in a short time period in the hopes to acquire new legendary and excotic equipment.
The most popular engram farming method involved standing in a certain spot, firing at a cave full of enemies, reloading, and then firing again as soon as they spawn, typically just 5 to 10 seconds later.
A week ago, this area in Destiny was always occupied with players working together to farm the hell out of that cave, but Bungie has noticed this strange behaviour in players, and whilst they praised their attempts at finding a engram farming method so quickly, they have since nerfed the cave, making respawn times from enemies in certain areas much larger.
Bungie addressed the issue by saying, "The social experience of a cave farming run is amazing: the herding to get a team of Guardians all behind the line and firing in the right direction, the rush

Respawn Entertainment have now revealed all three maps for their upcoming third and final Titanfall DLC, IMC Rising, and by the sounds of it, season pass holders of the game are in for quite a treat.
The first map in the new IMC Rising DLC has been named Sand Trap, which features a network of trenches that are connected within a desert environment.
Map creator Chris Dionne mentioned that, "One of my main goals with Sand Trap was to use old ideas in new ways. In the center is a buried bunker inspired by the buried architecture in Fracture; this lets Titans stomp around above while pilots scurry below. Across the map are deep trenches that create a well-run highway for pilots; inspired by wall running in Rise they give quick and (relatively) safe routes across the map."
The second map for IMC Rising is a map focused on various levels of elevation and has been named Blackwater - this will be a map for those looking for some great 360 degrees jetpack-parkour combat.

As it turns out, players will be able to obtain a cute puppy companion in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain which will follow the player around throughout the game.
It has already been revealed that Hideo Kojima's new AI companion system will allow players to pick allies of Snake to join him on missions throughout Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but a new a gameplay video from Tokyo Game Show reveals a new companion that I think a lot of players are going to learn to love.
The companion, which has been named the Diamond Dog, is a wolf companion that can be found in-game as a puppy. The game event at the Tokyo Game Show captured the relationship between Snake and the wolf as it grows, and I must admit, it is certainly filled with a lot of 'Aww' moments.
The Diamond Dog even manages to receive his own eye patch later in the story, too. It must be noted that playing alongside the Diamond Dog, or any other AI companion character is completely optional, and players

Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind Titanfall, have just announced details for their third and final DLC pack for their recently released FPS. The new DLC pack will include three new maps that explore unseen places of the Titanfall universe.
The next DLC pack for Titanfall has been called IMC Rising, so it's likely that the maps will focus on IMC created facilities and locations, as opposed to the previous map packs, Frontier's Edge and Expedition, which focused on scenic areas and Militia mining areas.
On Frontier's Edge, players were given Dig Site, one of the smallest maps in the game, Export, an interesting map that comes with a "black market" feature that allows players to buy and sell burn cards with in-game currency, and finally Haven, an open map perfect for objective based games.
Expedition came with Swampland, a map focusing on an alien world's scenery, War Games, a map that took another look at Titanfall's pilot training simulator, and Runoff, a

The next game in the Batman Arkham series has finally been given the release date treatment by Rocksteady games and we can now confidently say that Batman: Arkham Knight will be releasing next year on June 2015 for current gen consoles.
Whilst the main version of Batman Arkham Knight can be pre-ordered for $59.99 from various retailers, gamers who are big fans of the series may want to take a look at ordering either of the two limited edition versions of the game instead.
The standard limited edition will cost $99.99 and will come with an 80 page artbook, issue zero of the Batman: Arkham Knight comic book, three in-game New 52 character skins, a detailed Batman statue and a Steelbook case.
The limited edition sounds pretty impressive as it is, but this is just the start. For huge fans out there, there is the Batmobile edition. The Batmobile edition will come with all of the above, however the Batman statue will be replaced with a transforming Batmobile statue created

The Forza franchise has now been out for so long that Turn 10 have managed to amass a rather large collection of cars that they have been able to move into each game quite easily. This year, Forza Horizon 2 is set for launch, and Turn 10 have just revealed details on the amount of cars we can expect from the game, as well as any rewards players can receive from the monthly loyalty program.
Whilst Turn 10's previous game, Forza Motorsport 5, was filled with microtransactions that allow players to purchase new cars, Forza Horizon 2 has much less of that, and instead has a much larger free collection of cars. In total, players will be given access to a huge range of 210 free vehicles in Forza Horizon 2, and it's expected that future DLC will add even more cars to the game.
On top of this, Turn 10 revealed the Forza loyalty program that will reward loyal players with monthly awards. Don't worry, you won't have to spend any money to be a part of the Forza loyalty program. Instead,

Whilst Dying Light was originally planned for release in March, and then delayed to February next year, it has now been pushed forward to a January release, revealed developer Techland.
The release date for North America has been set for January 27th for all platforms, whilst Europe has received a release date of January 28th for all platforms.
Dying Light is a new open world first person survival game that mixes elements from games like Dead Island and Left 4 Dead with parkour elements similar to those from Mirror’s Edge. The result is a free-flowing zombie game that focuses on allowing players to use the scenery and environment to their advantage.
Like Techland's previous IP, Dead Island, Dying Light takes a large focus on melee based combat, and a lot of the weapons that players will come across in the game will be melee based weapons such as knives, clubs or wrenches - pretty much what we've come to expect from any zombie game.
I personally think the parkour

To keep things interesting for returning players, Bungie has revealed the first of many upcoming in-game events for Destiny, which should challenge players and reward them with special bonuses after completing.
Last weekend, Bungie released their first in-game dynamic event that focused on PVP - the event added a brand new "Salvage" mode to the game that pitted two teams of three players against each other as they fought for control of different nodes within the map. The nodes must be controlled for a short time before a point is rewarded for each node, and only one node appeared on the map at one time.
Salvage has since been removed from Destiny, and the next in-game event will be a level 26 raid set on Venus. Vault of Glass will be available from September 16th, and it will put Guardians up against new challenges. Once completed, players have a chance to receive raid set gear and ascendent materials from the new raid.
There will be another PVP event and another PVE

It's finally happened, Rockstar have released all there is to know about the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V, including the release date of the next gen version of the game.
Retailers around the world have now started to put up pre-orders for GTA V next gen for both the PS4 and the Xbox One, in anticipation for the release date, which has been set for November 18th this year.
GTA V for Xbox One and PS4 will come with a wide range of changes that couldn't make it into the original game due to hardware limitations of the previous generation of consoles. Some of the new changes include new weapons, new vehicles and new activities, as well as increased wildlife and a new and improved foliage and terrain system.
There will also be denser traffic in GTA V for PS4 and Xbox One, making car chases in the city even more intense, and players will notice changes to the weather and vehicle damage systems in-game.
There will also be an extra 100 songs
