Last month, Hideo Kojima posted up a range of different screenshots portraying one of the maps planned to be in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and weeks later, we've been able to work out just how large the world will be, thanks to some analysis carried about by a Reddit user.
The original map was darkened, but with a few tweaks to the white balance, the map could then be revealed more clearly. On the edited map, roads can be seen connecting the entire world together. Whilst the map does show the scale of the world, it doesn't explain how large it will really feel to the player, but to put it into perspective, Reddit users have taken areas from gameplay trailers and events and correlated them with places on the map to piece together the size of the world.
If the image, which can be seen above is proven to be correct, then there's no guessing just how huge The Phantom Pain will feel. One thing's for sure and that's the world in Metal Gear Solid will be absolutely huge,

The new game lineup for the PS Plus games on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita have now been announced, and whilst it's lineup may perhaps be the weakest it's been for a few months, there's still a decent amount of free games to delve into. As usual, the lineup spans six games across all three current PlayStation consoles.
For the PlayStation 4, PS Plus subscribers will be able to get their hands on Velocity 2X, a fast paced side scrolling platformer that has a wide range of cool shooting, teleporting and other great sci-fi mechanics. The second PS4 title is Sportsfriends, which is a great party game filled with all sorts of quick arcade and puzzle games that people can play together on the same console.
On the PlayStation 3, All Stars Battle Royale has been put up for free - this is a great game that pits together all of PlayStation's best known video game characters and sticks them in the same arena for a Super Smash Bros' style fighting experience.

According to new rumors, Beyond Two Souls may be coming to the PlayStation 4 some time in the near future. Packaged as a 'director's cut,' the new alleged PlayStation 4 compatible Beyond Two Souls will come with a range of previously removed scenes, and an overhaul on some scenes already within the game.
This isn't the first time we've heard rumors circulate about a PlayStation 4 Beyond Two Souls port, and it's certainly not going to be the last, but until we hear something substantial from an official source there's no way of knowing how likely it is that Beyond Two Souls will actually make it to the PS4.
The source for the new rumors leads to two German retail websites, both of which have listed up the 'Beyond Two Souls director's cut' for release on the PlayStation 4. Earlier in the year, a programmer working on the game listed a PlayStation 4 remake within his portfolio, so there is definitely something related to a new Beyond Two Souls release happening in the background.

Another month has gone by, and Microsoft have announced their plans for September's free Games with Gold lineup. Whilst the new games for September may not be anywhere near as good as the free games released last month, you can still get hold of a couple of decent titles this month too.
For the Xbox One, players with an Xbox LIVE Gold membership will be able to grab Super Time Force all the way throughout the month, starting from September 1st, and ending September 30th. Super Time Force is an arcade side-scroller title that seems to incorporate game mechanics from games like Contra, and even Alien Hominid.
For the second Xbox One title, players will be handed Crimson Dragon for the second month in a row. Whilst the repeated free release for the Games with Gold promotion has disappointed some Xbox owners, it's important to note that Microsoft's original plans were to release just one Xbox One game for free per month.
As for the Xbox 360, players will be able to download

I don't know how it happens, but once again somebody has made a mistake on Amazon and has accidentally posted up a product listing that really shouldn't be there. Recently, a product listing for Mass Effect for the PlayStation 4 was found on Amazon, however after it was shared across the web, it was shortly removed from the website, confirming that it shouldn't have really been there in the first place.
Whether or not it was an accident, or a smartly placed marketing attempt by BioWare, it's clear that something Mass Effect related might just be coming to the PlayStation 4 soon. The description for the Mass Effect product listing on Amazon wasn't filled with much details, so we have been left to speculate.
It's very unlikely the listing was relating to the new Mass Effect game as there is still a lot of work that needs to be done before the game is ready for promotion. Instead, I personally think the listing could be suggesting a new PS4 port for the original Mass Effect game.

New images have surfaced of Forza Horizon 2, depicting the large world size we can expect to find in the game. Forza Horizon was the first time Turn 10 took the game to an open world platform, and whilst the concept was pretty neat for a Forza game, it wasn't all that it could be.
This time round though, Forza Horizon 2 could be everything we could want from an open world racing sim, and the newly released pictures show off just how large the world will be in the new game.
Turn 10 have taken inspiration from some of France's and Italy's most beautiful areas and combined them into one single open world area that expands to three times the size of the original Forza Horizon game.
On top of having what we expect to be a set of incredible environments, Forza Horizon 2 will have a variety of different random weather effects that can change the road conditions and the overall appearance of the game. As you can see in the map picture shown above, a large amount of the world

Mortal Kombat X and Tekken 7 have already been announced, and Killer Instinct has been available for free on the Xbox One since it's launch, and in the coming years, Street Fighter will also make it's debut to the new generation of consoles, new details reveal.
Yoshinori Ono recently revealed details for a new Street Fighter game for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on Twitter by stating "Hahaha, some time or other..." After being asked about the possibility of a PS4 or Xbox One Street Fighter title.
This new information reveals that Capcom do have plans for a new Street Fighter game for both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, but it may be a while before we finally see it make an appearance. It's likely the game is still in early development stages, if it's even started development at all.
Yoshinori Ono also revealed on twitter that there are no plans to release a Street Fighter game for the Wii U, once again showing that hardly publishers are interested in releasing

This won't be the first time, but recent news reveals that the upcoming Call of Duty game, Advanced Warfare, will have a selection of third person modes for the multiplayer portion of the game which will release some time after the game officially launches worldwide.
Sledgehammer Games have put quite a lot of effort into renewing the multiplayer experience of the Call of Duty franchise in Advanced Warfare, and what we've learned so far is that Sledgehammer will offer a range of new mechanics to make the game feel fresh, but the experience will still be recognized by Call of Duty fans across the globe.
On top of putting effort into new gameplay mechanics, Sledgehammer are thinking hard about the various multiplayer playlists available. It's already been revealed that the game will have a set of standard playlists, and a set of traditional non-exo suit playlists too. On top of this, it's now looking likely that Advanced Warfare will also get a third person playlist at some point

Whilst all of the video footage we've seen so far has shown off the extensive singleplayer experience for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, a new gameplay video that has just been released has a large portion showing off the multiplayer content within the game.
This is the first time the Metal Gear Solid V multiplayer portion of the game has been put online, so Kojima has been pretty excited to show fans what the new MGS game will offer players.
Metal Gear Solid IV managed to keep things refreshing by adding a enjoyable multiplayer game mode to the franchise for the first time, and this time round it looks like Kojima wants the multiplayer experience to be even more feature-filled.
In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, players will be able to customize and equip their "mother base" with a range of different traps, rooms and military equipment. Once a mother base has been created, other players will have the ability to infiltrate the mother base.

For a while, we were unsure Advanced Warfare was ever going to come to last gen consoles, but now details have arisen to 100% confirm the presence of a last gen version of COD Advanced Warfare, which means players will be able to play the newest Call of Duty, even if they don't own a new console.
The development studio behind the last gen port of Advanced Warfare is High Moon, the same team behind a range of movie based Transformers games, and Deadpool which released in 2013.
There is definitely no doubting the creative potential of High Moon Studios, so it's likely the Advanced Warfare last gen port will be fairly spot on. Obviously one question that we all want answered is; what will the new gen have that the last gen won't?
Other than obvious graphical changes, it's unclear just what owners of the last gen version of Advanced Warfare will be missing out on. Gameplay-wise, it's likely there won't be that much difference, but there may be a few tweaks here and there
