Naughty Dog like to leave little hints around in their world for gamers to speculate about, and the last time this happened, a date left in a bar in Uncharted 3 turned out to be the release date for the Last of Us.
Gamers have now found a calendar in the Last of Us with the date October 2013 written on it. Whilst this could have just been a randomly chosen date for art and immersion purposes, it could be possible that the date on the calendar is hinting towards an October 2013 release for Naughty Dog's next game, Uncharted 4.
Uncharted 4 would sit nicely on the PlayStation 4 right ahead of the release date of the console, and if the game is released in October, perhaps this could mean the PS4 could be released before or around the October 2013 date as well.
There is no way of really knowing what the meaning is behind the Calendar, but a lot of gamers are convinced that the October 2013 date in the Last of Us is more than just artwork. What are your opinions?

After Gamers have shouted their concerns on the growing problem that is game DLC, the fact of the matter is that the problem has not been resolved, and in fact, it's slowly getting worse and worse.
Metro Last Light has finally made its way to release, despite problems with publishers in its early stages of development, but there is a concern about how the game has been released. The Ranger Mode, the way Last Light's developers recommend you to play the game, doesn't actually come boxed with the game at all. In fact, to get the recommended game mode, you will have to pay.
The developers for Metro Last Light have stated on Twitter that the reason behind this is that thanks to Microsoft's Policies they cannot release the DLC for free, and have had to go with the cheapest possible cost for the Ranger Mode. However, this will still cost players $5 worth of Microsoft Points, and what's really disappointing is that to 'be fair' with all gamers in general, the DLC now will also cost

If you didn't know already, May 15th marks a very special day for the Gran Turismo series, and Sony are going to giving some kind of announcement to celebrate it.
The 15th May marks the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo series and although Sony will probably use this time to go over their achievements with the franchise, they've also said in press invitations that they want to discuss what the series will bring for the future. The event will take place at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK, and Kazunori Yamauchi will make some interesting announcements about the future of the brand.
The official statement from Sony is as follows:
"The event will be a celebration of all that Gran Turismo has come to represent to a community of millions all over the world, and will involve many of the car manufacturers who have been part of that incredible 15 year journey. At the event, Kazunori Yamauchi will also be making some exciting announcements

Despite the action FPS Walking Dead Survival Instinct being a terrible game thanks to its unpolished and lore breaking gameplay, the other Walking Dead by TellTale games has seen a lot of success, and it's now reaching out to the rest of the world.
The Walking Dead video game by Telltale games has received a lot of praise and many awards for its story-driven video game, and until now, was only available to those in the UK via a digital download.
However TellTale games have announced this week that the Walking Dead video game is now available for physical purchase from UK retailers for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC.
The game was originally a digital-only ordeal, but it's overwhelming success has landed the developer enough profit to send out physical copies across the globe. The new retail version will also include subtitles, allowing non-English players to experience the game fully.
Have you played the Walking Dead? Will you purchase a retail version or

It was previously announced by EA that access to the Battlefield 4 beta was available to anybody with a Battlefield 3 premium subscription. However, a few details on the Beta, and particularly how to access it, weren't specified. So EA has now given a few more details to clarify how the system works.
The Battlefield official Twitter account has given a reply to a question asked by a fan, who was worried that he did not have a key for the Battlefield 4 Beta and wouldn't be able to gain access.
The reply from Battlefield says that "You won't be receiving a code or beta access until the beta has been released! Don't worry,"
If you are a Battlefield 3 premium subscriber then you'll probably receive an email from DICE or EA closer to the Beta with more information on how to get access.
Battlefield 4 is set for release later in 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Are you excited for the new Battlefield?

Bethesda has recently announced the new Wolfenstein: The New Order, a FPS game following in the series that has been slated for a late 2013 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and next-gen consoles.
Players will play as B.J. Blazkowicz, the war hero well known to the series, who has set out to launch an "impossible counter offensive" against the Nazi powers whom have taken control of the world.
The game is set in 1960 and takes place in Europe, after the Nazis have won World War 2. Bethesda has said that players will be able to use "super weapons" and other utilities that the Nazi's used in Wolfenstein to take over the world.
A trailer was released along with the announcement and shows the innards of a huge war machine and then scrolls out to show multiple machines that look capable of stomping a stomping a tank to pieces.
The game is being developed by Machine Games and published by Bethesda, although the previous two games were developed by Gray Matter

Although EA has already had its hand on Battlefield websites two through to nine, It seems they've decided to 'preserve' their future a little longer and purchase 8 new domains, starting from www.battlefield13.com to www.battlefield20.com.
EA has strangely missed out on Battlefield 10-12, but I'm certain most of the discussion will be about why EA has secured such websites.
It's only been very recent that EA purchased Battlefield4.com for $9 grand, so for them to buy out all these domains now is very strange.
Perhaps EA decided to go on a spending spree, just to be safe and ensure they don't have to fork out another $80k on more websites just like they did for Battlefield.com.
Or maybe these numbers mean something else. If you count every game since Battlefield 1942 to Battlefield 4, that makes a total of 12 games. Making the 13th (possibly Battlefield 5) title

GTA fans have been in for a treat this month. Firstly, Rockstar released three new GTA 5 trailers showing off the new characters you will be able to play as in the game. Rockstar has now shown off a new screenshot, depicting the moment two of the main characters meet head to head in the game, and it doesn't look like a friendly meetup.
The new image shows Chaos crazed Michael and Gangbanger Franklin getting geared up with two assault rifles.
The image was first posted in the comments section on Rockstar's website, and was then removed by a moderator. So perhaps the image shows a little more information about GTA 5's story than Rockstar wanted to reveal at this point.
We posted earlier this week about GTA 5's new protagonists, and the roles they fill in the storyline, and the storyline is already looking interesting.
GTA 5 will be released in September latest this year for both current gen PlayStation and Xbox 360.

If you've watched the trailer already, you'll know that the next Call of Duty game, set for release this year, will be Call of Duty: Ghosts, which has been rumored to launch on November 5th this year.
A few details have been given by Activision on the single player and multiplayer aspects that will be found within COD: Ghosts.
First of all, Ghosts will take place in the future, but soldiers will still make use of current technology, and this is because of a "major plot event" unveiled in the game.
Single player will also include more destructible scenery, although the dynamics on this hasn't been released. Multiplayer will apparently involve maps that allow players to make use of things found within the game such as traps, making the maps a lot more interactive than previous COD games.
The game is also being developed on a new "next-gen" engine according to Activision, and will be playable on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and next gen Microsoft and PlayStation
