Intense Game Trailer
A while back I saw a trailer for a game while I was surfing the internet. My computer or internet connection was acting up so I only got to watch about 20-25 seconds of a three minute long video. Well, finally I remembered to go back and look up the game trailer again the other day. To say the least, I was blown away. The trailer was for a game called Dead Island, set to release September 6, 2011.

Battlefield 3 at E3
So at E3 on Monday, Electronic Arts held their press conference. Amongst their announcements of games like Mass Effect, Madden, and FIFA, there was one game that I really wanted to set my eyes upon, Battlefield 3. And I was looking forward to the live streaming of the trailer and the gameplay and having high expectations. And thankfully, EA lived up to its words and didn't disappoint me at all.

So there have been quite a few exciting things that have been released at E3 thus far. Nintendo hasa new console called the Wii U, they don't have the best track record with core gamers, but only time will tell if this console can live up to what we expect from our consoles.Sony has a sweet new portable that is called the PlayStation Vita, not the NGP.Yes, Vita is latin for the word life, which is exactly what the console will bring to them following all the drama of the PlayStation Network closing.By the way, there were no hackers at all, at least according to Anonymous. It was really just that Sony was having problems with their servers. But alas, Sony has new life through Vita, and for half the cost of what the PSP did, you get something that looks truly special.
However, so far in my opinion it is still Microsoft who has released the biggest news, even without the creation of a new console.Halo 4 was announced at E3 and it looks to be the first

So after watching the video The Legend of Karl: An introduction to Elite gaming, there are multiple questions that pop to the forefront of every gamers mind. Is the Elite feature going to be so sick, that it will make regular free online gameplay obsolete? Or is it just a nice little perk for the Call of Duty players who take their craft a tad bit more serious than most of us? Will this be the dawn of a new social networking platform that will propel Call of Duty to a level equivalent of professional sports? Okay that last bit was a stretch, I know, but still, the ramifications of Elite are still yet to be ascertained.
So before everybody starts freaking out about how Call of Duty is going to become too expensive ala World of Warcraft, or that Activision has decided to sell our souls for more money, lets take a moment to examine what it is that the Elite package entails. Factor number 1: you are going to have pay monthly if you want Elite. While,

Technology may be pretty advanced nowadays, but I guess its no match for a rough and tumble, lean and mean…mouse? Okay, seriously guys!! That has to be a joke!!
This past Monday, April 11, I left Evil Controllers two hours early to be able to study with a friend before my CIS 105 exam (because yes, I did wait til my last semester of my senior year to take CIS 105). When we got there, I first noticed things were a little off when we were remarkably let into the parking structure for free – when ASU even gives their prized overpriced income raising parking for free, you know something is wrong. As we walked to campus, conversation was buzzing loudly around the W.P. Carey building about a power outage. Apparently, the power had gone out about an hour prior, and no one knew why or how or when the power would be back on. Some speculated the construction workers hit a main line or something, but no one really knew. Thus,

Japans Time of Need, ganbatte (persevere)
Hironobu Skaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy posted a song on this tumblr page entitled Pray For You. The song is not intended to raise and collect donations but rather it is a contribution for Japans disaster relief and for the struggles that they are working towards overcoming. So far the song has over 13,000 plays and it continues to touch hearts around the word during Japans time of need.
On the site you can hear the song and read a note from Hironobu which reads: I composed a piece for the
