Twitters 5th Birthday!
March 21, 2001 was the anniversary of Twitter. Jack Dorsey, the cofounder of twitter tweeted for the very first time. After five successful years Twitter has over 200 million users. The tweeters of Twitter include tech luminaries, celebrities, companies (including Evil Controllers!), the president of the United States, and of course people just like you and I.
In 2007 Twitter averaged 5,000 tweets per day, and now they average 140 million tweets per day, that is more than 1,600 every second. Two years later broadcast channels began to use twitter to report major news events.

This weekend, I was lucky enough to have the chance to attend PAX East in Boston. It was my first gaming convention and I have to say, I had a blast.
From the beautifully designed booths (and the ones that obviously had been put together very last minute to say the least), to the intriguing panels to the cosplay that probably took months to design, to the worst sandwich I think Ive ever eaten (that cost me $12!!!), everything about PAX was new and exciting to me.
The convention experience started on Friday with me basically just exploring and getting a feel for the area. I met with Paige and Summer from Fandomania.com (who were so friendly!), and our good friends Mark, Steve, and Ben from AbleGamers, and started off filming an interview

An Evil Ambassador's Review on the Oscars
So many Oscars, so many snubs. Not to say The Kings Speech wasnt probably an amazing movie (although I tried to see it and walked out within 20 minutes because I was bored out of my mind – bored enough I went to No Strings Attached instead), but it just felt wrong to me. There were just so many other movies I would have liked to see win.
Namely, The Social Network or Inception. I found both movies to be extremely deserving of the big win because they were blockbuster movies that were actually good, and not just remakes or sequels produced

AbleGamers
AbleGamers is a nonprofit foundation that runs off of www.AbleGamers.org. The story behind the company is heartwarming, but what the company has done since 2004 is what truly touches someones soul. They found a problem of the lack of help when it came to people with disabilities and gaming, and they created a solution of providing help for those in need. AbleGamers is hosing a Panel at PAX-E, which is a three-day tournament, free play, panel discussion and exhibit for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. ÂÂIts such a large conference and provides an array of amazing opportunities for AbleGamers. AbleGamers will be attending PAX-E as a team or people with disabilities,

I was happy enough to be invited to a release party for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Valentines hosted by the nice people who organize the annual Devastation tournament, which, in my opinion, was certainly better than some lame date with some guy I barely know that felt obligated to have a Valentine. Although it was over an hour of a trek, another Evil coworker and I gladly drove out, Evil D-pads and swag in arms to give away to attendees.
The party was at the Best Buy out in Surprise, AZ, and probably housed over 50 excited gamers in attendance. Both Evil Controllers and Monster attended the event and handed out goodies (apparently Monster drinks now come in turbo form with even more energy boosting capabilities….oy vey). People from all sorts of backgrounds attended, young, old, mid life crisis range, to play Marvel vs. Capcom 3 hours before the official release, using both our Evil D-Pad controllers or joystick pads

Super Bowl Commercials!
At the beginning of each yeah, most everyone is looking forward to keeping their new years resolutions, going to the gym more and THE SUPER BOWL!!!!! This is one of the rare times that many viewers do not prerecord the show and fast forward through all the commercials. In fact many viewers enjoy the commercials just as much as the enjoy the game itself. Each fan has their personal favorite, from the Snickers: Betty White, to the E-Trade: Jealous Girlfriend commercials. CNN released a sneak peek of the upcoming Super Bowl Ads. Their previews include, an add for Teleflora which include the Grammy-winning singer, Faith Hill , an add for careerbuilder featuring chimps, an add for Pepsi, which is featured twice, once for a low-cal Pepsi Max beverage, then again for allowing their customers to create the adds for Doritos, an add for GoDaddy which will be featuring Jillian Michaels who will be accompanying Danica Patrick, and an add for Bridgestone who features

Just as every NBA fan sat quietly waiting to hear LeBron James' decision on what team he was choosing to sign with for the upcoming season, the video game world was waiting right alongside. The decision to join the Miami Heat will have a great impact on basketball video games. Chris Snyder, 2K Sports director of marketing, predicts that the Heat will be the No. 1 team for ranked games next year. LeBron James is joining Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade making the Heat a force to be reckoned with.
