Madden NFL 13 Release Date is August 28th

EA sports announced their upcoming Madden 13 at E3 this year. They claimed it was going to be the biggest game of the series and supposedly had huge improvements made to it over the last. The game is currently set to be released on August 28^th of this year.

The biggest improvement is the integration of the new Infinity Engine. Thanks to the new engine the overall physics of the game has received a great overhaul which would make things such as player impacts and the transfer of player momentum the experiences looks like a real game, with no two plays looking or feeling alike. Halo 4 Forge Mode Info

Hey there Halo fans! I am pleased to tell you (if you already didn't know) that Forge World is going to be making a comeback in Halo 4. Better still is the fact that Forge is bigger and better than ever before with lots of improvements that are really going to make a difference.

To start off, this time around this multiplayer map editor is being developed by Certain Affinity. Since these guys were the developers behind Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary and the Halo Reach Map Pack, it is safe to say that they really know their stuff when it comes to Halo.

Hey there guys. I guess you guys already read the previous article about the Halo 4 Limited Edition Console Bundle. Since then it has been pulled down from the Microsoft Store so we haven't been able to get a better look at it. But, today I bring to you the close up image of the new Halo 4 UNSC Controller:

Looks cool right? As you can see, the blue led that is supposed to be integrated instead of the green can be seen from this picture. The d-pad is also supposed to be the twist d-pad. Also notice how the controller is translucent.

When it started out this game was called True Crime: Hong Kong and was being published by Activision. However after a certain point in development Activision decided to scrap the whole project based on the fact that the game would not be as profitable in comparison to the amount of cash required for its production.

Luckily Square Enix came to the rescue and bought off the rights to the game. Although they did not get the rights to the name and hence Sleeping Dogs was born. In an interview with Famitsu Mr. Motomu Toriyama, the director of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2, commented - "The Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning download content had an ending that left a feeling - mystery and hope. The day when the meaning of this will come to light is not too far."

As some of you might already know, at the end of FF XIII-2 players were greeted with a "to be continued" screen. Pretty much everyone guessed that this referred to FFXIII-3 but in actuality it was a DLC. However, the afore mentioned Lightning DLC (which was also the last piece of DLC) actually left players with a lot more questions than answers.

So this comment from Mr. Toriyama is most likely hinting towards FF-XIII-3. But no one is certain still; is it another installment, another DLC or is it Versus XIII that is finally going to get revealed? I really hope it is the latter!

New Left 4 Dead Sequel

Hey there zombie fans! I have some great news for you guys today. Valve has finally announced the release of their next highly anticipated DLC for Left for Dead 2, "Cold Stream". The DLC will be available for players using PC, Mac and Xbox 360 from July 24^th. So close!

This DLC will also come along side another update which will make all mutations available at all times. According to Valve "this will allow players to choose to match into games playing Taannkk!, Gib Fest, or even a user created mutation like Confogl."

'Total War: Rome' Sequel Announced

Sega has just announced the sequel, Total War: Rome II, which has been in development at The Creative Assembly. It is only available for the PC and is currently set to be launched at the end of 2013.

I am a MASSIVE fan of Rome: Total War which came out about 8 years ago. Even though the first game got me hooked to the series, none of its successors had been successful in surpassing the original in my opinion. I don't know what I loved about that game but, I have finished the campaign with pretty much every faction.

Final Fantasy VII PC Re-Release

For some time now rumors had been going about that there would be a HD remake of Final Fantasy VII and that it would be available on Steam. Although we haven't heard anything tangible yet that would support this assumption, we did get news regarding FFVII.

Recently Square Enix has officially confirmed the PC re-release of the original FFVII via a website they put up.  The game will be arriving to their online store in the near future as a downloadable game.

According to the website there seems to be 3 major improvements:

PlayStation 3 Exclusive Journey gets a Physical Release

There were rumours going around that we might be able to see a physical copy of Journey and just a few days ago, thatgamecompany has confirmed the Blu-Ray Journey Collector's Edition. The Collector's Edition will be available in stores on the 28th of August, 2012 in North America and soon after in other countries. It is currently priced at only $29.99!
