Michael Condrey from Sledgehammer Games posted in a blog recently that Call of Duty Modern Warfare is going to feature a Color Blind Assist mode. Now, I know, you are probably wondering, what is that? And more pertinently, what is the point? But for people, like myself who are afflicted by color deficiency, or other who have full color blindness, this means that Modern Warfare 3 will be a level playing field.
The quick animations and flowing colors of modern games can be hard to follow for people with color related vision issues, and often times it means confusing enemies with friends in the game. Subsequently the game becomes bias towards people without these issues, and the inclusion of a Color Blind Assist

Nintendo's new console will support 3D TVs but won't focus on it.
The Wii U, Nintendo's new console, will support 3D television technology according to Nintendo's company president Satoru Iwata in an interview with Mercury News. However, since most people don't own a 3D TV these days and it doesn't seem like its going to be common as the DVD player for a while, Nintendo isn't putting much emphasis into it.
"If you are going to connect Wii U with a home TV capable of

Battlefield 3 fanbase raising the rivalry between EA and Activision
It's only been a few weeks since E3 wrapped up and already the fanbases of both games of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are standing their ground on which game will win this year's FPS rivalry. You see it in various forums, comments sections of gaming news sites like Kotaku and Digg's gaming section, and you even hear it on other games voice/text chat like Team Fortress 2 and Halo: Reach.
Now I'm a person who's usually on the fence

New development studio "Respawn Entertainment" consist of former Infinity Ward staff and Call of Duty creators
So a while back, Infinity Ward and a lot of the staff who worked on the Call of Duty franchise had a bit of tension going on (and when I mean "a bit" I mean "a large amount") due to contracts between them and Activision. In result, Jason West and Vince Zampella (who co-created the Call of Duty franchise) and nearly half of Infinity Ward's staff left the company to venture out on their

Summertime! Yep, it's here! What does that mean to you when you hear that word? No school? Trips to the beach? Grilling delicious and fattening cheeseburgers on that charcoal grill? Summer is now fully underway, and most gamers have sunk their teeth into whatever they can get their hands on. Here is a quick rundown of observations I have made of the current gaming world. E3 released lots of exciting news and at the forefront for me, is the battle between Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3, and exactly how cool is PS Vita going to be? As graphically appealing as Battlefield 3 looks, I still cant help but shake the feeling that what it boils down to is a preference in gameplay, and Call of Duty has become just too familiar for most gamers to let go of just yet.
My neighbors across the hall have been playing way WAY too much Dirt 3, but Im sure that will end when Forza 4 comes out. If PS Vita was cool enough to make me not feel so bad about skipping out on the Ocarina of Time remake that exploded onto the 3DS. I mean that as a serious game title to compete against, and nothing in PS Vitas lineup looks as impressive as perhaps
