The Next Halo's Release Date is Election Day
If you're an American citizen over the age of 18, you will have to make a tough decision. Choosing the leader of the free world and also wondering which edition of Halo 4 to get. That's right, on election day, November 6th, Halo 4 will be released.
The upcoming Xbox 360-exclusive FPS series will be making its return, starting a new chapter in the Halo saga. So before or after turning in your vote you're likely to end up at your local gaming store.

Matt Dunkley and Neil Davidge to Compose Halo 4's Soundtrack
According to news from Kotaku, a composer behind movies like The Dark Knight and a former band member of Massive Attack are working together for the Halo 4 soundtrack.
It is reported that Neil Davidge, a former producer of Massive Attack, has signed on to compose the soundtrack for the Halo 4 sequel. Alongside him will be Matt Dunkley, who has helped arrange music for multiple movies including Inception, Iron Man, and The Dark Knight

The Orchestrated Video Game Music Tour Could Be Appearing in Smaller Venues and Areas
To celebrate it's decade of success, Video Games Live will celebrate in 2012 by heading to smaller venues and towns across the globe. Their reasoning to shy away a bit from populous places like New York and Chicago, was due to demand from their fans and their success.

No New Next Generation Xbox Unveilings in 2012 Says Microsoft
The gaming community will be disappointed to find out that Microsoft has no plan to release a new console anytime soon, according to a statement from Microsoft and this article on Mashable.

Ken Levine Prefers to Show a Game Rather Than Talk about It.
According to sources from Joystiq, Bioshock Creator Ken Levine was at the Game Developers Conference and was asked about Bioshock on the Playstation Vita. He stated that it wouldn't be Bioshock Infinite being ported to the Vita and that he and his team was working on it.
