The EA Play event will take the place of EA's usual booth at E3 this year. At the event, visitors will get the chance to play a number of upcoming games for free. All of the games on the list are pretty exciting upcoming titles so there's a lot to get hyped up for.
Even if you can't make it down to the EA Play Event yourself, there’s no doubt that a lot of juicy information will come from EA's booth and will make its way onto the internet. We're talking gameplay from Battlefield 1, NHL 17, NFL 17, FIFA 17 and even Titanfall 2.
All of the sports games are yearly releases so there's nothing too exciting there, although we are interested to see what changes will be made and what new content will be added this year round. Battlefield 1 is definitely exciting to see - we can't wait to see some gameplay. Titanfall 2 is perhaps the wild card here - we haven't yet seen any promotional material for the game and it is set for release later in 2016.
It'll be interesting to see

The new 3.9 patch notes for Smite have now been released. The patch includes a rework to Ratatoskr, adds some new God skins and adds a new event called the Viking Invasion. There are also a number of other changes including a range of bug fixes. The Xbox One and PS4 3.9 patch will be released soon. Unfortunately a definite release date has not yet been given.
The Ratatoskr re-work includes changes to the Dash ability - when Ratatoskr uses Dash, he will stop moving immediately after hitting into an enemy god. However, the Dash cooldown is now reduced for each each time the other basic abilities are used on an enemy god.
The Viking Invasion event will also be added in patch 3.9. The new content will cost 900 gems to gain access. Once you've paid the price, you'll get new skins for Chaac and Kali. The Viking Invasion expansion includes a number of quests that can be completed to unlock new content. This content includes extra wards, a pedestal, a loading frame, an announcer pack

Is this real life? Yep, it seems that even though 343 Industries confirmed that Halo 5: Guardians wasn't coming the PC, we just end up getting more and more Halo content on the PC. The latest piece of the Halo PC pie are a set of free Halo 5 Forge tools for Windows 10 owners.
Microsoft has named the piece of software as Forge - Halo 5: Guardians Edition and it will be coming to Windows 10 soon. So far we're not sure whether the tools have been built from the ground up for support on the PC or whether they've mostly been ported for use on the PC but there will be a few changes regardless. Here are some of the changes posted by Microsoft on an Xbox news post.
+ Keyboard & Mouse Support - For the first time ever, Forgers will have the option of using a keyboard & mouse allowing for more precision control than ever before.
+ Increased Resolution - Support for multiple resolutions including 4k.
+ Test and Play with Friends - Enlist the help of Friends to help

$10 for a season pass is on the cheap side of things but after Warner Bros. announcement, it's clear that the pass for Lego Star Wars 7 is worth picking up if you're into the game. The image shown above includes all of the information about the season pass if you want a quick look.
Firstly, the season pass will add five new playable characters to the game. These characters will be part of the Jedi Character Pack which will be available as part of the season pass. Apparently the pack will include a variety of members of the Jedi Order as well as a few vehicles. This pack should include Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, Shaak Ti, the full size Jedi Interceptor, and the micro-figure Jedi Interceptor.
The season pass will also include three new level packs which should include details of episode 7 from differing perspectives to what we saw on the big screen. In one mission, for example, we get to play as Kylo Ren during

You may have been hoping to see Mass Effect Andromeda release this year but unfortunately Bioware has had to push back the release date. Whilst this delay may come as bad news to some, it is ultimately for the better and it'll ensure that when the gigantic open universe game gets a release it will be more featured packed, more fine tuned and more diverse.
Bioware announced the game delay in a new blog post. Whilst the main announcement in the blog post is about the delay, the blog also talks about the future of Mass Effect Andromeda and it's current stage in development.
Firstly, Mass Effect Andromeda has been delayed to 'early 2017.' Whether we get this in the first quarter or second quarter of 2017 hasn't been mentioned, but we highly expect it to be the first quarter.
Secondly, Bioware goes on to mention some of the things to expect from Andromeda. We have listed the highlights below.
+ More Freedom: One of our biggest ambitions is to give players an unprecedented

If you've seen the new Battlefield 1 trailer then you'll know that there are a lot of gamers out there getting excited right about now. Although the trailer is the only official content we have from DICE at this point in time, we do have some information to share from an interview Gamespot had with Lars Gustavsson, DICE's design director.
In the interview, a few questions were asked. Although Gustavsson was vague with his answers and kept a lot of information up his sleeve, there were a few bits and piece worth mentioning. Because of the shift in time zone, pretty much everything will have to be worked from the ground up in terms of weapons and vehicles. As a result, it's easy to worry that the Battlefield dev team might not put as many weapons and vehicles as one may hope.
Fortunately it sounds as if the vehicle choice in Battlefield 1 will be plentiful. In his interview, Gustavsson mentioned that "There's a plenitude of vehicle types." We didn't get much information about

Overwatch may just be the next biggest thing in eSports. Recently an eSports event covering an Overwatch game that featured some familiar names made it's way to the front page of Twitch.
Pulling in over 18,000 viewers at peak, the Overkill tournament had a $5,000 prize pool on the line and it saw competitive teams battle it out in the Overwatch beta. Since then, the beta for Overwatch has ended but it was certainly a spectacular way for Blizzard to end the whole event.
During the 18,000 viewer peak, Cloud 9 and Reunited.gg played against each other in a huge, marathon-like best of nine series. In the series, Cloud 9 managed to come out on top with an impressive 5-3 score line. Despite winning two more games than Reunited.gg, the match was still a lot closer than you'd have expected and it really showed the eSports potential, both for competitive play and for the viewing experience.
In fact, one map saw Cloud 9 get 99/100 percent for the capture on LiJiang Tower before

The next Street Fighter update will be adding some new content for Street Fighter V and it will be paving the way for the next DLC character, which we all know will be Guile. For a while, however, the exact landing date for Guile hasn't been known. So when exactly can we expect to see Guile in Street Fighter V and how will he work as a DLC piece?
Guile has been around for a long, long time so it's definitely pleasing some fans (and potentially frustrating others) to see him make a return in Street Fighter V. Not only has Guile made a name for himself in the main Street Fighter story arc, but he's been in plenty of other crossover titles too, including Marvel x Capcom and Street Fighter x Tekken. So Guile was previously announced as DLC but fortunately he will be available for free to all players until the Zenny shop opens, at which point we're guessing players will have to pay points for him.
Guile will have his own Character Story and set of trials too and to sweeten the

A brand new update for Star Wars Battlefront has hit servers and it features a bunch of new content for March. The new update is already available for all platforms - this includes PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
It should be noted that all of the content in the new March update for Star Wars Battlefront is entirely free of charge for all players across all three platforms. The new update adds a new survival mission on Tatooine called Rebel Depot, as well as Survivors of Ender to Assault, Supremacy, Walker Assault and Turning Point.
The update adds Rebel Depot on Tatooine as a new Survival Mission, and brings Survivors of Endor to the Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point modes.
After this free content update, more content for Star Wars Battlefront is sure to follow. However the next upcoming content will most likely be part of the paid DLC season pass. We're expecting to see Outer Rim as the first expansion for Star Wars Battlefront and this should include new

Tom Clancy's The Division has finally gone live and servers for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC are now available. The open world third person shooter RPG title is a brand new IP from Ubisoft which features a random loot system similar to Destiny. However, there are plenty of gameplay elements that make The Division unique.
If you owned the physical copy of Tom Clancy's The Division, chances are you managed to get into the servers earlier than the March 8 release date. Servers went live early, however digital copies did not activate until the aforementioned launch date.
On top of the full game, a number of microtransactions have gone live for Tom Clancy's The Division. Whilst there is no typical DLC content available yet, the microtransaction packs from Ubisoft feature a number of in-game items.
All of the microtransaction packs include cosmetic-only items and can be accessed from each console's game store - this would be the UPlay store for PC, the Xbox Games store
