Gaikai Cloud Service on a Sony Console
Sony has confirmed its plans to acquire the cloud gaming service Gaikai for a lump sum of $380 million. Why you wonder? Andrew House, President of Sony Computer Entertainment, shed a bit more light on the matter.
Mr. House mentioned that Sony is currently aiming to create a new cloud service which will allow users to experience a wide variety of content "instantly" on the go from pretty much any internet connected devices; the content would range from HD movies and videos to hard core 3D games.
There were a lot of rumors going about this deal all the way to E3 this year where sources were claiming that Sony was trying to significantly improve

'Total War: Rome' Sequel Announced
Sega has just announced the sequel, Total War: Rome II, which has been in development at The Creative Assembly. It is only available for the PC and is currently set to be launched at the end of 2013.I am a MASSIVE fan of Rome: Total War which came out about 8 years ago. Even though the first game got me hooked to the series, none of its successors had been successful in surpassing the original in my opinion. I don't know what I loved about that game but, I have finished the campaign with pretty much every faction.
The sequel will be keeping the signature top view perspective for RTS combat. Like always you can zoom all the way down to one soldier or

PlayStation 4 in Development Since 2010
Last week new info emerged that hints at the fact that the Playstation 4, codenamed ORBIS, has been in development since 2010.
This speculation arose after the discovery of the LinkedIn account of a man named Attila Vass. This guy worked in Playstation for about 14 years. As expected he has worked in a number of major projects including the Playstation 2, Playstation Portable, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita. Now, the interesting part is that in his resume he also mentions he worked with the "Next Playstation".
Considering the fact that this could not be the PS Vita (since that is listed already), there

Halo 4 Multiplayer News
New information has surfaced surrounding the much anticipated Xbox exclusive, Halo 4. To be more precise, the information is regarding a new requirement that needs to be fulfilled in order to play Halo 4's multiplayer.
It seems that Halo 4's multiplayer requires a total of 8 GB of free space for an install, either in the form of extra space in an Xbox 360 hard drive or an external flash drive. However, Microsoft highly recommends the in-built hard drive over the external as the former is supposed to provide a more "optimal experience". I am guessing the optimal experience means less lag and load times?
This basically means

New PS3 Super Slim Console
It seems that we might be getting another PS3, yes not a PS4 but another model of the current PS3 in the near future. This piece of news was concluded from documents that had been submitted to the Federal Communications Commission by Sony.
The upcoming series has been filed under the tag of CECH-4001x thus making it the 4000 series while the current model is the 3000 series. Although no one has claimed that there is going to be a slimmer model, most of us can already guess that would be the case. Anytime Sony launches another model it basically is just a slimmer version of the original.
It seems these documents contained a series of pictures
