Classic Mode Included in Thief
Some could say that games have been oversimplified over the years, and developers have taken the realism out of games by adding arcade-like features and blocky user interfaces, however, Eidos has now announced a new mode after Thief fans voiced their concerns on the issue, and they want to make sure that players of the new Thief game will have a chance to play the game how it would have been done many years ago, whilst the option to play with updated interfaces and mission dynamics to better fit today's mainstream appeal is also available from the start as well.
Whilst previous Thief games have been made under different studios,

Next Ridge Racer is F2P
It's not strange to see a free-to-play PC or mobile title, however free-to-play on the console is something you'll rarely see, especially when the game is part of a previously successful franchise. However, Namco Bandai has recently announced that Ridge Racer Driftopia, a new Ridge Racer game, will in fact be a free to play title for the PC and PlayStation 3.
The launch is currently slated for 'later in 2013,' and although the vague date means the game could be out anywhere between next month and December, the announcement focused on the choice for free to play, and a few questions have been answered about the type of free to play model found within Ridge -

GRID Lasts 30 Hours
Codemasters has recently sat down with VG247 to let fans know that their new racing title, GRID 2, will have over 30 hours of playable game time within the singleplayer storyline, making the game stand out from many other games recently released with short single player campaigns and story modes.
Senior executive producer of Codemasters, Clive Moody has said that "If you want to 100% the whole game - you're looking at 30-hours plus for the average gamer to get through that experience."
"That's doing everything we have to offer, all of the side events, promotional events and challenges as well. It's a large experience that will keep people

PS3 Black Ops 2 Update
Having a game across multiple platforms can be difficult for a developer, and it usually ends up with a few system specific bugs cropping up months after the game has released, but luckily for PS3 players, a new update has hit Black Ops 2 that will not only fix unwanted bugs and issues, but also add features not previously seen in the game.
The first of the new features includes the new prestige level calling cards for every prestige level, which will be available for anyone who has prestiged in the past.
On top of this, players will now be able to control the last Scorestreak called when a player calls in multiple controllable Scorestreaks.

New Halo Ranking System
Competitive Skill Rank will be making its way to Halo 4 this week, and to help players get to grips with the new ranking system, 343 Industries has given some insight on Competitive Skill Rank and how it works.
The Halo 4 Competitive Skill Rank (CSR) will rank players from 1 to 50 based on the player's performance in multiplayer matches, as well as the rank of those you play with.
Everybody will start out with a rank of zero, and will be able to achieve higher ranks based on their performance. The CSR is also based individually on each playlist, similar to Halo 3's matchmaking system, meaning if you had a high

New God of War Patch
If you haven't noticed already, whilst DLC means new content for you game at a price, mandatory patches usually include extra gameplay elements for free, whilst fixing a gamer's overall experience of the game. So, when a new patch hits, gamers should be as excited, or maybe even more excited than a new announced download content pack for their game.
This is definitely the case with the new God of War 1.04 patch details, which will add some interesting dynamics to the game, whilst fixing some much needed issues.
Once again Sony Santa Monica has worked hard to include new features to the game at no charge, and the patch details sound spectacular,

Borderlands new Legendary Items
With a new level cap increase incoming, and an increased difficultly level being added, Borderlands is in need with some new weapons, and Gearbox has just shown off some photos of some high-end gear that will be available in the game after their latest patch.
The new items will help players level up their Vault hunter past level 50 and on to level 61, whilst still having a chance at the new hardest game mode, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.
The new items will have their own 'pearlescent' item tier, putting them at a higher rank than the previous orange weapons. Not only will the pearlescent tier

New Tomb Raider Maps
Although the most enjoyable aspect of the new Tomb Raider is obviously the action-packed singleplayer, Square Enix seem confident enough with their multiplayer to bring out a new 1939 multiplayer map pack already. The new map pack is for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC, and will add two new levels to the multiplayer in the new Tomb Raider.
The new 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack will also include new weapon packs and multiplayer characters that will tie into the new maps. New content will be able to be found within each new multiplayer map, and from the details page, things are looking quite interesting.

Crysis 3 Patch Live
Crysis 3 has now received the 1.3 patch and it will update to all platforms very soon, although the times and patch details for each platform vary slightly. The patches help to fix some issues including bandwidth problems, bugs with player combat, and other annoying features that ruin the overall gameplay experience.
Although the patch changes are slightly different across the board, Crytek has worked hard to smooth out as many glitches and bugs as possible across all three platforms.
Some patch features have also fixed and balanced some gameplay elements to make multiplayer fairer for all players, and overall the patch

BO2 Uprising DLC
