A Screen cap of an Xbox.commishapreveals that Halo 4 is a confirmed upcoming release for the Xbox 360, and we couldnt be more excited. It marks another installment in the already excellent track record of the Halo series. This is the news that millions of gamers have been waiting for, and it is sure to create a buzz throughout the gaming world. The Halo series has been a consistent part of the Xbox community, and with the pending release of Halo 4, the series proves to continue its solid footing. Halo 3, Halo ODST, and Halo Reach introduced new game-play types and new character classes, which launched the titles forward above their competitors, and we expect the same level of progression with the release of Halo 4. With the leak of the upcoming Halo 4 release, one must wonder as to the specifics surrounding the game.

So after watching the video The Legend of Karl: An introduction to Elite gaming, there are multiple questions that pop to the forefront of every gamers mind. Is the Elite feature going to be so sick, that it will make regular free online gameplay obsolete? Or is it just a nice little perk for the Call of Duty players who take their craft a tad bit more serious than most of us? Will this be the dawn of a new social networking platform that will propel Call of Duty to a level equivalent of professional sports? Okay that last bit was a stretch, I know, but still, the ramifications of Elite are still yet to be ascertained.
So before everybody starts freaking out about how Call of Duty is going to become too expensive ala World of Warcraft, or that Activision has decided to sell our souls for more money, lets take a moment to examine what it is that the Elite package entails. Found here on Kotaku, it seems that Modern Warfare 3 will be the concluding part of the Modern Warfare series of the Call of Duty franchise. As the game will continue on Modern Warfare 2's story and will lay to rest the conflict that is going on in the world of Call of Duty. There is also details of what we are to expect from defending New York City from an invading Russian force to stopping terrorist attacks in London to other parts of the world in chaos. The most anticipated game of the year; Modern Warfare 3 is the sequel to the MW2, widely considered to be the best first person shooting game of this generation. In a sense, the first time I picked up a Ps3 controller last year to play MW2 (I know I am still new to the COD series), I originally hated the game. I found it so hard to adjust from Counter Strike and Halo games where your enemies were so easily visible and the guns were so straightforward. The beauty of the love for Call of Duty though, is that it grows on you. After many months later, I currently dominate and thats being humble.
However, Black Ops is a much slower paced game than its predecessor MW2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 looks to combine the best of both worlds. The faced paced gameplay of MW2 with the all the glorious customization that we have grown to love from Black Ops. Well folks, its finally double points weekend again on Ps3 and for many of us, that means we will most likely be spending our last day on earth inside pwning noobs. Really with the impending rapture ahead of us this brings a whole new light to the phrase, Its not the end of the world! I really hope its not the end, I am still too young to die. However, after seeing what might have been the most absurd call of duty kill of all time last night from my friend Jon, I could at least rest easy. To describe what occurred, basically this guy was running up the stairs on Array, Jon fired 4 or 5 bullets out of his Aug and then switched to his python putting one bullet directly between this poor unsuspecting chumps eyes. It wasnt a difficult kill, it was just masterfully executed and equally humiliating to watch.
I wont be surprised if this weekend yields complete insanity, as everyone will be struggling to make up for that lost time due to the PlayStation

Evil Controller's Youngest Customer
Being that Evil Controllers is a company that relies mostly on Internet sales it is rare that we get to have face-to-face interaction with our clients! But every so often we get a local resident who drops by the Evil Laboratory, and our most recent customer was quite a surprise.
It is often perceived that the majority of our customers are above the age of 18, due to some of the most popular FPS games being for those who are 18 years old or above. However, there are always exceptions for that rule. If a parent or guardian approves the game for their child to play, a child of any age can be sitting behind an Xbox controller sniping their competition! So since I had perceived that the majority of our customers were above the age of 18 I was shocked when I met Vince, who could possibly be Evil Controllers youngest fan!
