Final Skyrim DLC?
Rumors have started to spread, and they're related to yet another DLC title release for Skyrim, a game that has now been over-packed with extra content and features. Recent activity from Zenimax, Bethesda's mother company, hints at some kind of Redguard related release.
For two years now, Zenimax has been renewing a trademark for the word 'Redguard' with the description of a "downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices" so although it's not certain that a Redguard DLC will hit in the future, a lot of Skyrim fans believe this to be the case, and following on from Bethesda's December 2012 statement, which said they had 'more stuff' on the way for all players in 2013, it seems to make a lot of sense.
Other possibilities could be that the Redguard related content could be for a new game ready for next-gen consoles, or even something tied to Elder Scrolls Online, an upcoming MMO developed by Zenimax software.

MMO Shooter
MMOs are slowly inching their way towards the console market, and although games such as Dust 514 are far from traditional MMOs like World of Warcraft, it shows that the social aspects and chilled competitive nature behind the genre appeal to a large audience.
Like Dust 514, Defiance is a FPS shooter with RPG elements thrown into a huge world where players can play with and against each other.
Players can sign up to the first Beta event over at the developers' website, although positions are limited so it's more than possible that many players will miss out this time round.
Also, the first Beta event is only available to PC players, however the game is making its way to PS3 and Xbox 360 as well, but

Second-hand Games
With the current generation, second hand gaming is a whole market of its own, and being able to play and trade in multiple copies of the game keeps customers happy, and games retailers filled with stock. However, Sony and Microsoft don't seem to agree with this current method.
An understandable reason for this is that with second hand copies available in such abundance, players have become more inclined to pass around copies of games, or buy second hand from a retailer to save costs, in turn generating less profit for the developers. However, being able to trade-in games and use pre-owned material is a commodity that gamers have become all too used to.
SCEJ, (Sony's division located in Japan) recently patented a system that stops games from being able to run on any system other than the first machine or account it was used on. The patented technology will use a special and unique ID tag with each copy of a game. Once played on a machine

iOS Xbox Live
One of the big benefits to Windows Phone currently is the inclusion of its services into the Xbox Live ecosystem. Playing arcade games on your Windows mobile could gain you achievements just like you can on the Xbox 360 or certain Windows Live PC titles.
It seems Microsoft wants to offer more compatibility to their Xbox Live services, because it's now possible to earn achievements straight from an iPhone or an iPad. Although no announcement has been made regarding the unexpected addition to the iTunes app store, it's now possible to download Wordament for the iPhone and iPad, and gain Gamerscore and achievements from this game.
The game was previously released on Windows Phone and one of its main features includes 'cross-play' suggesting that it may just be a one-off title that offers achievement stats on devices other than the Windows brand.
In other news, Sony has planned to import their trophy system into the mobile SDK of their

Halo and its Victories
A little over ten years ago, Halo Combat Evolved landed on the Xbox 360 and helped define what we know as FPS shooters on the console today. The franchise had a very successful launch, and the popularity of the game only grew as more games were released. Halo 2 completely redefined FPS multiplayer for consoles once again thanks to Xbox Live, and since then, Halo games have received a huge amount of support, giving those staying loyal to the much beloved Xbox-exclusive series even more to enjoy.
Game sales for a console-exclusive are never going to be as impressive as multi-platform game sales, but Halo has still managed to amass quite a heavy amount of purchases:

Skyrim Patch Info
A new patch for Skyrim has been released which has so far only been updated on the Xbox 360. The patch will be downloaded once playing Skyrim on Xbox Live, and has ironed out a few issues with the game.
The patch has fixed bugs with Arnleif and Sons trading company, NPC duplication, and vampiric grip and exterior doors. The patch also includes some back-end code to make Skyrim play smoothly.
For PS3 owners, and Xbox 360 owners outside US or the UK, the patch won't yet be available to you, and Bethesda hasn't stated when these consoles will get the 1.8 patch.
The new patch should hopefully help the new Dragonborn downloadable

Evil Controllers Promotes Family Gaming and Energy Conservation with Video Games
Tempe, AZ. (2012) - Next Month Evil Controllers is participating in Game Hour. Game Hour takes place on December 7th and promotes friends and family to play video games together and to conserve energy.
Game Hour is a yearly event in which the world is asked to set aside their individual wants to play a single game together, in a single room, while the electricity is turned off in the rest of the house. Energy saved in this way may appear minute, but if the entire nation participated in Game Hour, the event could save 55,226,417 kWh. Only 34,770,000 kWh are required to power 37,100 homes for an entire month.
"Gamers have a bad reputation of being unmotivated or disenfranchised by everything outside of their television, but the reality is that gamers are actually as motivated

Grand Theft Auto 5 Info
After a whole year since the first announcement trailer of Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar had revealed that they were planning to release a brand new trailer for November 1st, which would have most likely revealed the release date, as well as being the gate opener for GTA 5 pre-orders. However, Rockstar have announced that they will have to delay the trailer, as hurricane Sandy has cut the power out in New York, which is where the office that was working on the trailer is based.
Pre-orders were planned to be available on November 5th, and the release day was planned for spring 2013. Although

You would have thought that after all the leaked footage and campaign gameplay of Halo 4 there would have been enough reports to fully reveal Halo 4 in its naked form, but somehow it seems that 343 and Microsoft have managed to keep some secrets behind closed doors.
The picture above shows some kind of Promethean weapon or enemy capable of inflicting a considerate amount of damage to the chief and his companions, and it has a shape that we haven't seen in official previews of the game. The new image was revealed by IGN, and has created a ripple of interest throughout different websites and pages on the internet.
343 and Microsoft have released a fair amount of information on the rather complex species and their ranking positions within the main four Promethean groups; the four different Knights, three Crawler variations, and a Watcher species, but all of these are loosely based on a humanoid shape and the concept in the image is some sort of strange orb or space weapon.
