Recently we discussed 343 Industries strange way of saying "This is the next Halo, but it isn't actually going to be called Halo 5." After this point a lot of us decided to go ahead and accept that the first Halo game on the Xbox One might not be called Halo 5.
No one is really bothered about such a trivial thing, but a new leaked trailer seems to show that the next game will in fact be called Halo 5. The trailer shown is the same one as before, however this time round it ends with a Halo 5 logo being shown.
The new trailer shown is made by the same animation studio, Axis Animation, as before. Axis Animation seemed to have just edited the previous version to add Halo 5 onto the ending cutscene, although there doesn't seem to be any real reason for it.
This leaked video could of perhaps been made before Microsoft decided to change the new Halo's name into something other than Halo 5.
Regardless of the name of the next Halo,

If you didn't know already, Microsoft revealed at E3 that Gold members will now be eligible to two free Xbox 360 games each month. There wasn't really much information on how this new promotion works, although some keen-eyed Gold members had already spotted that Fable 3 was up for grabs for free before Microsoft even announced the new promotion.
To clear a few things up, Microsoft has now given a few new details on their promotion, stating that "As our way of saying thanks, we're giving all active Gold members two bonus Xbox 360 games each month for the rest of the year. Each specially selected, fan-favorite game will be available to download only for a limited time, so grab them before they're gone and keep them no matter what."
A new game will be available on the 1st and the 16th of the month for free for a limited time, and every Gold member that downloads the game will then be able to play the game for free forever, even if there Gold membership runs

New Halo Ranking System
Competitive Skill Rank will be making its way to Halo 4 this week, and to help players get to grips with the new ranking system, 343 Industries has given some insight on Competitive Skill Rank and how it works.
The Halo 4 Competitive Skill Rank (CSR) will rank players from 1 to 50 based on the player's performance in multiplayer matches, as well as the rank of those you play with.
Everybody will start out with a rank of zero, and will be able to achieve higher ranks based on their performance. The CSR is also based individually on each playlist, similar to Halo 3's matchmaking system, meaning if you had a high

Destiny Info.
So Bungie has given the world a preview into the world of Destiny. Although no gameplay footage was shown, we've been given a bit more insight into how the game will work, and what we can find within the game.
Always on Connection
This was a big gripe for some players, an always on connection just doesn't make sense when you don't need the connection constantly to play the game, however with Destiny it makes a little more sense, and according to Bungie, bad connections won't affect your connection too badly.
"Activision has run a site-specific infrastructure on the world's biggest multiplayer game for several years. While you can play campaign in Call of Duty

Destiny One
Although news on Destiny has been pretty sparse, Destiny may be reaching consoles sooner than we think. Recently Gamestop started placing posters around their store showing an image of Destiny to any shoppers, similarly to the Black Ops 2 first DLC poster they plastered into their retail stores.
On top of this, Bungie are planning a super reveal for their Destiny this Sunday, so be prepared to learn more about Bungie's new FPS universe.
So far we know that the game is an FPS game in a persistent world that allows you to create and customize your own character, gear and vehicles whilst being involved with co-operative and competitive modes, combined with public and social activities.

No Destiny Game for 2013
During Activision's annual money meet last week, key members of the company doubted Destiny would see the daylight this year, despite Bungie's great effort on the game.
Activision's chief financial officer Dennis Durkin has said "It will also be a year of significant continued investment in several new properties with long-term potential that are not factored into our 2013 financial outlook, including Activision Publishing's new Bungie universe, Call of Duty Online for China and the new Blizzard MMO."
Destiny definitely would bring in a lot of earnings this year for Activision if it were to be released, but it seems the publisher is hoping to get

Spartan Ops New Locations
343 Industries have given a few websites a preview into the next and final episodes of Spartan Ops for Halo 4. An unexpected press release was also given, and it gives details on new areas to visit in Spartan Ops.
In the previous five episodes of Spartan Ops, players have played in the Requiem sandbox, featuring many assets from both singleplayer and multiplayer maps being used more than once. From looking at the press release from 343 Industries, it's safe to say that the last five Spartan Ops missions will include a change of scenery, offering more variety in gameplay and overall appearance whilst playing.

New Halo 4 Playlists
Frank O'Connor has taken a look back at the trials and tribulations of Halo 4 in 2012, and is both proud and excited for what's to come next.
"We made a lot of mistakes....There are a ton of things we wish we'd done better: Features that didn't make it into the final game. Glitches that emerged. Missteps made. DLC fiascos. Communication breakdowns, but there were things that went astonishingly well - the creation of a genuinely competitive AAA studio chief among them. A collection of talent and souls that can do something genuinely amazing on this and next-generation hardware."
Halo 4 has seen a successful year despite a few hiccups from the new developer,

Halo 4 MLG
If you're into the competitive side of First person shooters, whether for the social aspect, or for more serious reasons, you'll be happy to know that 343 have finally released the official Halo 4 MLG settings.
The settings are only V1 though, so all is subject to change, and change is definitely expected, especially when Halo: Reach had 8 different versions until it was defined perfectly, and Halo 4 has brought all new physics and gameplay mechanics back into the Halo Universe, so this time round it may take even more tweaking than before.
However, the base settings for V1 include a set structure, and it'll be interesting to see how the community adapts to it. The primary weapon on V1 is surprisingly the BR, taking the DMR completely out of the picture for now. There have been a lot of discussion over which weapon is best, and although there really isn't any clear picture, choosing the BR is a nice initiative and hopefully it'll stick.
