Shinji Mikami Brings Bethesda into Survival Horror Gaming
According to news from Joystiq, it seems that a mysterious but interesting project called "Project Zwei" is a project involving Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and his Bethesda Softworks-supported group Tango Gameworks. This codename for this project was revealed to Famitsu (Japan's leading source of video game news) where Mikami stated that the game will be a survival horror game, drawing elements from the Resident Evil series.

South Korean Company Nexon to Bid on EA for Takeover
Accord to Joystiq, Nexon, the South Korean MMO company that created Maple Story is a pretty big player in the East. It's so big, it's thinking about and looking at possibilities of buying out a competitor from the West, Electronic Arts. Yes, THAT Electronic Arts. MK Business News, a South Korean newspaper, has reported that Nexon's Japanese headquarters spoke with EA about acquiring the company. However, it is unclear what the negotiations have come to. Grade School Student Makes a Game For His Blind Grandparent
According to Yahoo News, while most ten-year-olds are happy playing video games, that wasn't enough for Dylan Viale. Dylan has a very close relationship with his grandmother Sherry, who has been blind for decades. Due to her condition, he hasn't been able to share his love of gaming with her. So he decided to go the extra mile and make one for her as part of his entry into his school district's science fair project.

Call of Duty Might Be Slowing Down in its Sales
For some time now, it was very common to see that the new Call of Duty game would always outsell the last one. But things might have changed. As of this year, Modern Warfare 3 has sold less copies than the last Call of Duty title, Black Ops.
According to this news at Kotaku, analysts at Macquarie Equities have been tracking internal sales figures for the series for some time now. They recently have noticed that copies of MW3 are trailing sales of Black Ops by "around 4.2 percent".

"Fus Roh Dah", the shout from Skyrim that has become an Internet meme is now officially trademarked. Yes, the shout that sends things flying across rooms like a candy wrapper in a tornado, was gaining so much popularity, its creators had to lock down the ownership of the slogan.

Matt Dunkley and Neil Davidge to Compose Halo 4's Soundtrack
According to news from Kotaku, a composer behind movies like The Dark Knight and a former band member of Massive Attack are working together for the Halo 4 soundtrack.
It is reported that Neil Davidge, a former producer of Massive Attack, has signed on to compose the soundtrack for the Halo 4 sequel. Alongside him will be Matt Dunkley, who has helped arrange music for multiple movies including Inception, Iron Man, and The Dark Knight

The State of California Makes Gamestop Warn their Customers about Used Games' Online Fees
According to news from Joystiq, GameStop has settled a suit that requires the company to post signs in all of its California locations to warn their customers if certain used games have additional fees for online content. The company will also reimburse those "consumers who purchased qualifying used games" with a $10 check and a $5 coupon if they are a PowerUp Rewards members and a $5 check and a $10 coupon if they aren't.
