Studio claims that Battlefield 3 is what FPS Gamers have been asking for.
In a recent interview with Playstation 3 magazine(found here on Gadgets and Gizmos), the head of Digital Illusions CE (DICE) Patrick Bach stated that every first-person shooter fan craves for their upcoming title, Battlefield 3. Bach went on to say it has everything that a FPS shooter should have, including vehicles and destruction.

Modern Warfare 3
There have been some rumors surrounding the new Modern Warfare titleregarding a new game type called survival mode. Recently, however, it seems thatthese rumors have been confirmed and the new gameplay mode is in its beta stage.Survival mode will basically be a wave defense gameplay type that will take theplace of zombies in MW3. In my mind, I picture something similar to horde modein the Gears of War series, and if this is the case I am really excited to get to try it out. -

Microsoft announces the Kinect will support the Halo Classic
While Microsoft is keeping a tight lip on the remake of Halo: Combat Evolved (which is to be released later on this year on November 15, 2011), they did drop a bit of news as the Halo anniversary remake will have Kinect Support. The Vice President of Microsoft's (Phil Spencer) told sources that the Kinect will be important to all genres of games from racing games (like Forza) to combat games (like the Halo Anniversary remake). Joystiq.com has just broken the news. Black Ops has more DLC planned to release on June 28th. Is this too close to our last DLC dosage, or is it exactly what we needed?
This DLC adds 4 new maps for multiplayer: Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo, and Hazard. For fans of zombie mode, the DLC adds the map Shangri-La which our Evil Girls are very excited about.
To launch the release of this new DLC Treyarch will be throwing a double XP weekend on July 1st, so get your Evil Controllers ready, because the annihilation is just getting started.
