EA has done another move to make sure that players of their published games will never respect them by placing advertisements within Battlefield 4.
Despite the title being $60, and premium and DLC content reaching upwards of $110, EA still feels like they can squeeze more money out of the title. From now on, when players start playing Battlefield 4, they will be greeted with an advertisement for the premiere of the Need for Speed movie.
These advertisements can also be seen on the loading screen, and whilst they aren't particularly in the way of any actual game content, it has frustrated a lot of players, and I think they have good reason to be frustrated.
For starters, Battlefield 4 has been struck with countless bugs, glitches exploits, and most annoyingly, server issues, some of which have still not been resolved today. Despite this EA keep pushing DICE to put out more DLC content instead of working on the major issues, and now these new advertisements really make

The last Batman game let the rest of the series down a little, but it looks like Rocksteady Studios aren't looking to slow down production any time soon. New images have been shown off for the new and upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight game, and they pretty much capture everything we've already come to know and love in the dark Batman Arkham universe.
The screenshots show a few different characters and gameplay mechanics in action. The most interesting is the new batmobile game mechanic. As players are traveling through the city in Batman: Arkham Knight, players will be able to call in the batmobile whilst gliding to a landing spot.
The batmobile will smash through anything in it's way to give Batman a safe place to land. From here, players will be able to travel around the city streets with the vehicle, instead of just on foot or in the air.
If you were let down by Arkham Origins, it's important to note that Origins was developed by Warner Bros. The upcoming Arkham Knight

Despite being released late last year, the PlayStation 4 has now been confirmed to have sold 6 million units worldwide. Thanks to the recent launch in Japan, the sales have been boosted a large margin, and the 6 million sales is a huge milestone for Sony.
Sony have pushed for content sharing on the PlayStation 4, SOE's vice president of marketing, John Koller, revealed that it's sharing features have been widely accepted. "There have now been more than 3.6 million live broadcasts, and more than 56 million spectate sessions on PS4 through Twitch and Ustream," John Koller revealed in a blog post.
According to Koller, A massive 20 percent of daily broadcasters are using the PlayStation 4 as their platform, which is pretty massive considering the PS4 hasn't even been out that for that long, and the new sharing features have made the PlayStation 4 a very sociable

Last week it was revealed that the Xbox One Titanfall bundle will be getting a 30 Euros discount in the UK, bringing the price of the next gen console slightly closer to the PlayStation 4's price. However, at the time, it was clear that the PlayStation 4 was still a better deal, and despite the price drop from 430 to 399 Euros, the Xbox One Titanfall bundle still wasn't cheap enough to sway any PlayStation gamers to the Microsoft side of the fence.
This week, GameStop has decided to bump it up a notch by reducing the Xbox One's price as well, bringing the console price even lower than the original price cut. The console bundle has now been reduced another 30 Euros, making the console price 369 Euros.
This bundle also comes packed with a digital copy of Titanfall, a standard controller, the Kinect sensor, and of course the console as well. The Titanfall standard SKU will also come with a headset for talking on Xbox LIVE, and a 1 month free trial of Xbox LIVE Gold.

If you're not already excited for InFamous Second Son, then a new TV Spot released on YouTube should make you at least a little bit more interested in the upcoming action title for PlayStation 4.
InFamous Second Son features Delsin Rowe as the protagonist, a 24 year old Native American street artist that has a few special powers most street artists unfortunately do not have the capabilities to hold.
This includes being able to "absorb" special abilities from others, and Delsin Rowe can also manipulate smoke and electricity. Of course, government officials aren't gonna' be happy with this, or his street art, and because of this, the DUP, a government branch that has been given the task to control humans with supernatural powers, has flagged Delsin Rowe as a bioterrorist.
The TV trailer unfortunately doesn't show much apart from a lot of explosions, a few bad guys, the occasional smirk, and a lot of special energy power being

The next game by creator of the FPS title Blacklight Retribution is called Daylight, and it has been described to be a procedurally generated thriller with each playthrough containing new levels, thrills and puzzles to complete.
Details on the title are still pretty low key, but more information has come in this week about the game. Firstly, 1 minute's worth of gameplay content has been released in an IGN preview, and the developer gives a bit of information about the game as the gameplay is shown.
Secondly, the game has been confirmed for a set release in April, however details on whether it will be free or not have not yet been confirmed. Despite their publisher being a F2P publisher, I think Daylight will be a game developed on their own back, thanks to the support Blacklight Retribution has managed to give them, and for this reason I expect the game will have a price tag on it.
It looks strictly like a single player game, and I'm not sure how successful the title

Microsoft is pretty well known for slandering it's competition, and recently they've really tried hard to make their competitors look like insignificant wastes of time, despite being a fair way behind their competitors in the industries they are working in.
In the gaming industry, I have a feeling we can expect a lot of PlayStation slandering campaigns to go ahead over the next few years, but that's okay, because Sony usually has a witty thing or two to say back.
The most recent of these campaigns offers those who want an Xbox One a path easier on their wallets. To be precise, Microsoft has offered to take your PlayStation 3 off of your hands, in return for a $100 discount card on a brand spanking new Xbox One.
Microsoft may have admitted that the Xbox One is priced higher than the PS4, and this looks like their first measure to try and make their price a little closer to the

Despite PS Plus now being a requirement for online play on the PlayStation 4, Sony aren't stepping down in any way when it comes to freebies and extra loyalty programs for PS Plus subscribers.
I've been a fan of PS Plus ever since the monthly free game rota was added, and since then I, along with many other PS Plus subscribers have picked up quite a few great titles for our PlayStation 3's and Vitas.
The details for February's PS Plus games have now been announced, however details aren't clear on whether these games will be strictly for Europe PS Plus subscribers, or whether North American PS Plus subscribers will get the same free games as well.
For PlayStation 4, the indie horror game Outlast that takes cues from games like Slender will be made available for free next month, but if that doesn't take your fancy, the roster for February's PlayStation 3 games should certainly get you excited.

Guerilla Games have gone down the Good Guy Game Developer route by deciding that they will still develop content for Killzone Shadow Fall after it's release, but instead of charging extra money for it, on top of the original game's cost, they have let players know that they will be releasing all of their DLC for free.
Whether or not this still counts as DLC is up for discussion, as it's most likely that the latest content update for Killzone Shadow Fall will be a compulsory download if players wish to play online.
However, instead of being a simple patch that fixes bugs and tweaks gameplay, it will add two new maps into the game, free of charge.
The first map has been called The Cruiser, and Guerrilla Games has described it as a "close to mid range combat map set in the confines of a decommissioned ISA cruiser."
The other map has been named The Hanger, and has been designed to be a much larger map. Guerilla described it as "a wide open map situated in the hangar

Hitman will be making a return to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and IO Interactive have unveiled some of their plans for the upcoming Hitman title.
IO Interactive has stated that players will see "a globetrotting Agent 47 at the prime of his career - the apex predator stalking his prey across the world, with the support of his long-term handler Diana Burnwood and the whole of the ICA."
IO seems to be focusing majorly on the reasons that made Hitman stand apart from it's competitors, and that of course comes down to the wide range of weapons that can be used to take out targets. Whether it's a playing card or the shoe off of your victim's feet, it's usually possible on Hitman, and IO are banking on this concept for the success of the next Hitman.
IO are hoping to go back to their roots and make the game feel more like the original than 2012's title.
"We've adopted
