Unlike other recent fighting games, King of Fighters 14 isn't wasting any time with announcing it's character lineup. Well, almost.
SNK Playmore has revealed that King of Fighters 14 will come with 50 characters at launch but the actual character lineup has not yet been revealed. It's likely we will see a large roster including old characters and a small selection of new fighters too. King of Fighters has always been renowned for having a large character roster so this news comes as no surprise.
What is surprising, in a pleasant way, is that SNK Playmore do not plan to split these 50 characters into DLC - all of the 50 initial fighters will be available on day one as part of the base game. Game director Yasuyuki Oda mentioned that there won't be small additions added over time. "All 50 characters will be playable at launch." There will be numerous characters at launch, and we don't plan on adding more bits at a time, so be sure to properly jot that down. It wouldn't be a KoF

With the release of Battlefront in November and Star Wars Episode 7 in December, it seems like perfect sense to add some Episode 7 themed DLC into Battlefront in the near future. Unfortunately DICE has revealed that they do not have any plans to release any Episode 7 themed content for the new Battlefront and in fact Battlefront will only include content from the original prequel trilogy.
DICE definitely has some DLC in plan for Battlefront in 2016 but all of the new maps and content will be themed around episodes 4, 5 and 6.
You may be wondering why DICE decided to create the Battle of Jakku map if Battlefront will only focus on the first three movies. According to Star Wars lore, Battlefront's Battle of Jakku map takes place 29 years before Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so whilst it's still ahead of the first prequel episodes, it still is within the realms of Star Wars Episode 6 as opposed to The Force Awakens.
The news came via a Twitter post, which read as, "Our

Destiny's Sparrow Racing League has now ended and players can no longer play this particular game mode. For those unaware, Sparrow Racing League was a unique PVP mode added to Destiny that allowed players to race each other in Sparrows. This is the first time Bungie has added a PVP game mode that has a main focus besides shooting.
Now that Sparrow Racing League has come to a close, Bungie will be replacing it with The Iron Banner for a short while before introducing another timed PVP game mode. The Iron Banner has already been in Destiny two times since the release of The Taken King and this is now the third time.
The Iron Banner features basic PVP combat just like the standard Crucible game mode but there are some standout features that make it very different. Unlike the standard Crucible mode, the Iron Banner has level advantages enabled, which means that weapons with higher attack ratings do more damage. In the Crucible, all gear is leveled out to make an equal playing

In February Dying Light will receive a new update that is free for all players. The new update adds 250 legendary levels to add more progression to the end-game state of Dying Light. If you're a Dying Light player that has already completed Dying Light to 100% but you're still looking for a challenge, the 250 legendary levels should grab your interest.
The 250 new levels allow players to continue to unlock new content after each level up - new unlocks can include new gear, weapons, outfits emblems and even new skills.
Once a skill tree has been maxed out, you will then start to gain experience points for a new skill tree. The additional experience points will go towards the new legendary levels. Inside of the legendary levels skill tree you are given the ability to choose new upgrades to important stats such as damage, stamina and health, along with others.
Whilst base stats can be upgraded once per legendary level, you will only get access to additional rewards such

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be getting new DLC soon that will be exclusive to the Metal Gear Online portion of the game. Konami has announced their plans for the new Metal Gear Online content and has also explained about exactly what content players will be able to expect soon.
The first and most exciting feature coming to Metal Gear Online is a new game mode named Survival. Not many details were given about Survival but it is assumed that it will be similar to the timed Survival Mode events that were occasionally hosted by Konami in Metal Gear Online on MGS4. Hopefully the Survival Mode that is coming to the new Metal Gear Online will remain as a permanent playlist instead of a timed event.
Konami also plans to release new maps for Metal Gear Online soon, although once again details for these were not shared. The Metal Gear Online Twitter page posted the following information.
"New DLC planned for MGO, including new maps, Survival, and more! Further details

A brand new trailer has been released for Tekken 7 and it showcases a new addition to the Japanese arcade version of the game. In the trailer, Akuma from Street Fighter is showcased as a character, suggesting that he will soon be added to the Tekken 7 roster. Whilst this trailer is aimed for those who play the Japanese arcade version, it's likely that Akuma will come to Tekken 7 once the game gets a worldwide console release.
It's very common for fighting games to include guest characters from other games, TV shows or movies so seeing Akuma in Tekken 7 would be awesome. Akuma should have a move set that is very similar to his move set in the Street Fighter franchise so when you're playing him, it really "feels" like you're playing the real Akuma. Interestingly, even though Akuma is coming to Tekken 7, he has not been announced for Street Fighter V.
Akuma will be added to the next Japanese arcade Tekken 7 update, which has been named Fated Retribution. On top of the inclusion

Now that DICE has been hired to work on Battlefront, a lot of Battlefield fans have understandably been concerned about the future of the Battlefield series. Fortunately there's a lot of good news as far as new Battlefield development goes. On a new Twitter post, DICE's development director Dan Vaderlind revealed that he has now left the Battlefront team to focus on their next game, which will be a Battlefield title.
Whilst there will still be a team at DICE dedicated to Battlefront, the main focus at DICE will now be towards developing the next Battlefield game. Considering that Battlefield 4 launched with a number of issues and DICE asked Visceral Games to help with Hardline, there's definitely a lot of anticipation on how DICE will deliver the next Battlefield title. No launch date has been set for Battlefield 5, (Or whatever else it may be called.) and we currently have no promotional material out of DICE's offices yet, but it's suggested that the game will be launched in 2016.
