Dark Souls has managed to make a pretty big name for itself recently, and I think the developers behind it, From Software, have done an incredible job to offer a really unique RPG experience. I've yet to complete the game, but I've enjoyed the game a lot since I first got my hands on it.
I'm sure this is the case for many players, so I can imagine it's sparked a lot of curiosity between those that haven't yet played it. If you sold your PS3 or Xbox 360 to get a brand new console from either Microsoft or Sony, than you probably know what I'm talking about here.
Luckily though, it could be very possible that a Dark Souls 2 port for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One could happen. When asked about a possible cross-gen port by Edge, From Software director Yui Tanimura replied with, "We have not put any thought into this yet, So I unfortunately can't answer at this point."
Whilst this means that From Software haven't already started a PS4 and Xbox One port, it also

Battlefield 4 had a rocky start when it first released, and the game was filled with various bugs, crash problems and balancing issues, and DICE are still working on adjusting the issues that made it into the game on day one. In fact, the next upcoming DLC pack for Battlefield 4 will be launched alongside some major core gameplay changes that DICE believe will keep a lot of Battlefield fans happy.
Firstly, a few changes will be made to Rush mode, one of the most played games on Battlefield currently. The new changes to Rush, according to DICE will help improve the game's balance and flow, and DICE are currently testing these changes in a live environment on Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311 and Operation Locker. Some of the changes to Rush include a reduced radar sweep range around attacker's bases, the removal of commander by default, and changes to MCOM placement and cover passes.
The ballistic shield will also be getting a nerf so that one-hit kills with it are no longer possible,

Crytek are best known for the Crysis series, along with their very powerful range of game engines by the name of CryENGINE, which have allowed developers to reach beautiful graphic standards incredibly easily, but recently Crytek have been working on a brand new project.
The project in question is called Homefront: The Revolution, and it follows in the footsteps of the first Homefront title that was published by THQ. Crytek recently bought the rights for Homefront after THQ went bankrupt, so this new Homefront title could be considered a sequel, despite being under a new name.
Homefront: The Revolution is set in a world set after a fictional invasion of the United States by North Korea, and it gives players the control of survivors who are still putting up a fight against the North Korean forces.
Like everything by Crytek, Homefront: The Revolution looks pretty decent graphically-wise, but so far I can't get an idea about the gameplay. The gameplay shown so far looks

You may be getting a bit fed up with the constant release of new Assassins' Creed games, but despite there being so many, there's doubt that Ubisoft are working hard to keep things fresh and enjoyable. The last game in the series, Assassin's' Creed IV: Black Flag, was a great new experience for the franchise, and Ubisoft want to make sure things are still as fresh as ever with their latest game, AC: Unity.
In Assassins' Creed Unity, there will be a larger focus on team play and co-operative work. There will be a set of online-only missions that will allow players to test their single player character in an environment with other players, but this will be a separate experience from the single player game.
Thanks to next gen hardware, there will also be a big improvement on overall game mechanics, and things from climbing and navigating the world to combat gameplay will have refined systems to make them feel more intuitive and seamless.
Gameplay will also feel more open;

Whether or not you're a fan of the fun and friendly universe of Little Big Planet, there's no doubt that the series has helped to shape part of what it means to own a PlayStation, so I'm sure Sony were pretty excited to announce their third main entry in the franchise, Little Big Planet 3.
Little Big Planet will bring a bunch of new changes to the LBP franchise, as well as bringing a new roster of characters to the scene. Each of the new characters will have certain attributes that will make them useful for certain situations, adding more of a dynamic to the Little Big Planet experience.
The most interesting take on the new slew of characters is that players will be encouraged to team up and make use of each character's abilities together to complete certain levels. Sony have definitely tried to focus on cooperative gameplay with Little Big Planet 3, and I think this will make for a great party game or a way to spend the evening with your family.

After selling a ridiculous amount of copies on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it only seemed to make sense for Rockstar to port their latest Grand Theft Auto game over to the new generation of consoles, however, we haven't really heard anything official from Rockstar about such a thing happening since it's first release on to last gen consoles.
That all changed last night though; Rockstar finally decided to speak and reveal that Grand Theft Auto V is now planned for a release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The new next gen version of Grand Theft Auto V will be released this Fall, and a few changes will be made to the game to take advantage of the new hardware capabilities within both the Xbox One and the PS4.
Perhaps the biggest notable change for the new version of Grand Theft Auto V will be the across-the-board graphical improvements that will add new lighting effects, increase draw distance, increase texture detail and bring enhanced resolution to the game.

Despite constant complaints about frame rate, resolution and game graphics in Watch_Dogs by the gaming community, Ubisoft's recently released open world title has been incredibly well received by the public.
In fact, Watch_Dogs has been so well received that it has been titled the fastest selling title in all of Ubisoft's history. No other game published or developed by Ubisoft has managed to sell as many copies as Watch_Dogs has within a 24 hour period, which really is quite impressive, considering Ubisoft have been the driving force behind many great franchises, including Assassins’ Creed and Far Cry.
So, I'm sure you're wondering exactly how well Watch_Dogs has sold, and how that compares to other similar titles like Grand Theft Auto V. Ubisoft recently announced that Watch_Dogs has sold more copies in 24 hours than any of their other titles, but details on just how many copies were sold has not yet been revealed.
Grand Theft Auto V managed to sell a staggering 12

Despite a bunch of new reveals and trailers for The Order 1886, Sony has officially made a statement to inform fans that the upcoming cover based third person shooter title will be pushed back to sometime in 2015.
This is now the third title for the PlayStation 4 that has been delayed since the release of the console, along with Watch_Dogs and DRIVECLUB. Whilst it is disappointing to have to deal with all of these delays, it's usually all for good reason. Without these delays, the games would be released in an unfinished state, and it's good that developers are pushing for the very best before releasing their upcoming video games.
Ready At Dawn's new IP was originally planned for release at some point in 2014, and upon release of the PlayStation 4, it was even considered to be a potential launch window title. However, The Order 1886 has not been quite up to par as far as the developers working on the project are concerned, and for this reason it has now been delayed till a

The last couple of days have been filled with strange postings and hints towards the next Mortal Kombat title, and today it has finally been announced. Mortal Kombat 10, or what the developers are calling Mortal Kombat X, has now had an official trailer released for it, and things are looking pretty interesting.
The trailer for Mortal Kombat X starts with what looks like cinematic footage, but it neatly transitions into real gameplay, at which point you start to realize just how good looking the new Mortal Kombat game is going to be.
The first hint towards the Mortal Kombat X reveal trailer came in the form of a Tweet from Wiz Khalifa, which was certainly quite odd. Wiz Khalifa posted an image that read 'Who's Next?' As well as a date in Roman numerals. The date read "VI.II.MMXIV" which translates to 2nd June 2014, which is the day Mortal Kombat received a big reveal.
Ed Boon followed up with Tweet by writing "Yes you are Next @wizkhalifa !! On June 2nd Kombat Kontinues...

I walked into a local video game retail store earlier this week, and I noticed that they had boxed copies of Elder Scrolls Online for the Xbox One ready for pre-order. I thought this was pretty odd, seeing as development on the game was still well under way, and the release has now been pushed back to late 2014.
Recent news suggests that you should probably not get your hopes up if you do spot a boxed copy of Elder Scrolls Online in-store like I did, because Zenimax Online Studios may have to push back the console release of the MMO game even further.
Creative director for the project, Paul Sage, has stated that their current main goal is to get the console versions of Elder Scrolls Online ready for release at some point this year, but he also mentioned to IGN that he can't promise the game will definitely release at some point this year for consoles.
According to Zenimax, the current delays are due to a series of issues and 'unique problems' specific to the various
