From the moment, PlayStation 4 was revealed it was obvious that Sony had learned from all their past mistakes made with the PlayStation 3. Although obvious, this observation was supported by what SCE CEO Andrew House had to say.
In a recent interview with MCV UK, House admitted the rough ride Sony went through during the early release of the PS3. But they didn't just try to deal with the problems, the learned from them. The valuable feedback that they received from the community is what they used:
"Anyone can point out how those learnings have translated into the decisions we've made around PS4 -- selection of architecture, emphasis on

Well I bet this question was on the minds of several gamers, and might even have been sought by many. We already got both versions for several games including Call of Duty Ghosts and Assassin's Creed 4, so would it really be surprising to get a next gen port for GTA 5?
I mean no official news has been announced yet, and maybe even Rockstar is assessing the situation but we all thought at a point that GTA5 might be released for the next gen consoles. A big reason why a lot of us actually still hold on to our current games is also the fact that GTA5 was released on them.
During a recent interview with Lazlow, one the franchise mainstays, he responded to the question about whether gamers would see GTA5 on the next gen consoles. To this he responded with, "[they] haven't announced anything yet" followed by a wink which Lazlow explained was just a momentary reaction to a "seizure."
I mean at a point it is sort of inevitable. The new consoles

Well if you're one of the lucky ones to have a PS4 then you don't have to worry. But those who have yet been able to grab one, you might still have to wait a bit. Sony is having the sale of their lives and it seems regardless of their plans of constantly restocking retailers, the demand is far from being met.
During an interview with the Gardian, SCE CEO Andrew House said that Sony doesn't expect that they will be able to fulfill demands until even February. He said, "So I'd characterise it as being somewhat supply-challenged for the remainder of the calendar year, but hopefully we’ll be able to satisfy that pent-up demand as we get out to January and February."
As of now, despite the unavailability, Sony expects the PS4 to outsell the PS3 within the firs fiscal year. Since its launch in November 2006 till March 2007, the PS3 sold a total of 3.5 million units. Standing by their initial assessment, they are expecting that the PS4 will sell 5 million units during the

Finally, we get a glimpse into one of the most anticipated exclusives for the PlayStation 4, The Order. Most of us were sold the moment we saw the steampunk-ish universe. DualShockers recently revealed this bit of info from a Japanese cinematic trailer which showcased these new bits of information. Some of the key highlights are listed below but make sure to go to the site to get all the details.
-- Suddenly, mutations appeared in the human genetic code. While the change wasn't immediately visible, some began to show traits similar to beasts. This turned them into a species different from humanity, and marked the birth of the half-breed (half man, half beast).
-- Although mankind had the advantage in sheer numbers, it was inferior to the half breed because of their resilience and overwhelming regenerative powers.
-- At last, after a few centuries passed, humanity is presented with a chance to retaliate. Brave men and women vowed

Whilst all of the downloadable content for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was announced at it’s launch by Ubisoft, full details and pricing outside of the season pass was not given.
This week, Ubisoft has released the first DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed IV. The first pack is the previously announced character pack that includes three new characters that will be playable in the game’s multiplayer.
The first character is Blackbeard, one of the main characters in the story campaign. The second character is the Orchid, a deadly Assassin that grew up in China, and the third character is the Jaguar, an Aztec warrior from Mexico.
I could imagine each three characters would have a different playstyle, with Blackbeard being the most in your face, strength based character, the Orchid being the weaker, but more subtle assassin character, and the Jaguar being a mixture of the two.
The DLC pack is called Blackbeard's Wrath and will also add new achievements and trophies

It looks like the developers of the Dead Island series aren't quite done with Zombie games just yet. A new gameplay video shows Dying Light, the new zombie title under development by Techland running smoothly at 1080P on the PlayStation 4.
The video was shown at the VGX Awards and focuses on three main pillars of the core game experience; melee combat, parkour and zombie damage.
The idea behind the game is to refresh the now worn out zombie survival genre by adding parkour elements into the game. At first I was a little curious about how Techland plan to pull this off successfully, but I was quite surprised at how smooth the gameplay experience went from parkour to zombie slashing action.
Along with the parkour mechanics, Techland have introduced a bunch of parkour-like combat actions that allow you to improvise with the environment and use hand-to-hand techniques to take on

When Destiny was first announced, it gave us all the impression that Bungie were gearing up to release the game as a launch title for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, or at least a game that would make it to release within the launch window.
However, with Bungie being Bungie, things have been pushed back a little. Instead, both the full release and the BETA have been delayed to later down the line in 2014.
The final dates have been set as September 9th for the full release, and sometime in Summer 2014 for the BETA release. Interestingly, Bungie have also teamed with Sony to offer a timed exclusivity for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 players, however details haven’t yet been given on whether this exclusivity will be strictly for the BETA access or for the full release as well, and a date for the Xbox versions hasn’t been

A new patch for Killzone: Shadow Fall has been released and it brings a bunch of new features and fixes, including the inclusion of a left handed control setup for any lefties out there finding it hard to play with the regular button layout. Guerrilla Games have also addressed a few other issues and made some changes to balancing in the game in both multiplayer and singleplayer. You can read the patch notes below:
- Several UI issues fixed
- Error messages in Multiplayer amended to have better indication of the error
- Edge-case crashes related to friends lists fixed
- Additional integrity fixes for the patching system
Guerrilla games have said that the patch should download and install automatically, but if you have problems with installing it, you'll receive an error message when trying to play in multiplayer. To fix the issue you'll need to reboot the PlayStation 4 to begin the installation progress. The new patch will also prevent errors

Since it's release, Battlefield 4 has been a fairly successful title that has brought in gamers from the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and now the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but despite being out for over a month now, players are still reporting problems and issues with the game. However, DICE have been working on it since launch and are spending a lot of time into pushing out patches to fix the bugs.
A new patch has been released by DICE to fix various bugs and glitches, including the "one hit kill" bug that allowed players to kill enemies with one hit to the head, even when using assault rifles that don't do 100% damage even when the 2x headshot multiplier is added.
A few other bug fixes were applied in this week's patch as well, including a few audio issues, some graphics effects, and worked on some crashes, freezes and network issues. Whilst the main platform for this patch was for PC, it also applies to the Xbox One which will also have fixes for stability and performance.

Since Sony announced the free monthly PS Plus content, I've always got excited to find out what new games became available at the start of each month. This month, things are still worth getting excited for, and Sony have packed December with a bunch of great games just in time for Christmas.
The biggest free game on the list this month is Borderlands 2- this game has been out for a while now, but a recently refreshed GOTY edition shows that there is still value to the game, so being able to get it free this December is quite nice.
Next up on the list is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the PS Vita. Not a game I'd spend money on, but seeing as it's up for grabs for free this month, I may find myself playing it in my free time. If you're not at all interested in Sonic Racing, you'll also be able to play GRID 2 on the PS3 this month for completely free too.
The final PS3 game is Dyad, although this one would probably be more suitable for a PS Vita port- unfortunately
