Released in April 2019, undoubtedly 'Days Gone' was one of the best open-world zombie survival games on PlayStation. The Days Gone director Jeff Ross, who left Bend Studio after serving remarkably for 20 years, said in his viral tweet that he has no interest in the Days Gone sequel.
About the Game
This game received underwhelming criticism, but still, it's sold in the market pretty well. Jeff Ross recently made the headlines with a piece of surprising news that the outstanding PlayStation zombie game Days Gone has exceeded 8 million sales. These stats are massive as some people thought that Days Gone was a commercial failure. Days Gone was a unique project of Bend Studio under the direction of Jeff Ross and renowned for its Syphon Filter Series and Unchartered spinoffs. Days Gone represents an odd moment in the world of PlayStation. It was a game that most players seemed to like, which takes its sales to an incredible height. Cyberpunk 2077 was launched in December after many years of hype and expectations, following the immense success of CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3. You probably know that expectations were pretty high for the studio's Cyberpunk RPG, particularly following the glitzy, glamorous, and action-packed game trailers shown in the months that led up to the game's launch. The game was released after multiple delays and was riddled with bugs, glitches, and performance issues when it was eventually available, especially on older consoles. The game crashed and burned in almost unprecedented and unparalleled ways, subject to fan scorn and critical discourse amidst its broken and buggy release. Sony took the unusual step of deleting Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store and providing refunds because the performance was so poor.
A History of Updates
CD Projekt Red (CDPR) released a Cyberpunk 2077 update on PS5, PC, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, as well as Google

You will be happy to know that many Xbox Series S games are in for a performance boost. This is because Microsoft is making more memory available for the console, addressing game developers' complaints and gripes about memory limitations. There is no denying that Xbox Series S from Microsoft has been a breakthrough in the console market. It has been successful with the amount of sheer power packed in the smaller unit of the 2 next-generation machines from the company. Although it is inexpensive, the console isn't as powerful as other models, such as the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5. The software kit for June enhanced the Xbox Series S's memory allocation as a workaround, allowing developers to create games more efficiently and quickly. This Microsoft initiative to give developers more memory control on Series S will likely improve graphical performance in some titles.
Addressing the Memory Limitations
You probably know that the Xbox Series S features a more than capable

Play Station Plus, PlayStation’s online gaming service recently went through a massive revamp, introducing three tiers, called basic, extra, and premium. While all tiers have their own perks and prices, most people have been opting for PS Plus extra, and for good reason. Why? Because it has a massive catalog of games and offers tremendous value for money. With renowned games like Red Dead Redemption, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man available on PS Plus Extra’s library, you can expect plenty of more people to subscribe to the service.
That said, many subscribers of the service were under the impression that they could access the game library whenever they pleased. However, that is not the case. Instead, PS Plus’ game catalog is quite similar to Netflix. Most games on there will be there for a limited period and then eventually be replaced by other games. While most people do not have a problem with that, it is a deal breaker for some people, especially new subscribers.

Everybody’s favorite football game is just around the corner. With FIFA 22 almost eight months in, people have been speculating about the release of the next installment. While FIFA has received a fair bit of criticism over the years, it has still remained the best football game out there. Sure, there is PES and other developers are also trying to offer some competition, but EA sports remains the best football game developer out there.
Unfortunately, however, FIFA 23 could be the last time EA gets to use the FIFA name as the footballing organization ended its ties with the video game developer. While this is a very big deal, it won’t stop EA from developing more football games under a different name. If you are a FIFA fan, you might be wondering when the next installment of this video game franchise will be released. While the developer has not provided an official date, industry insiders speculate that it could be around September or October, just like last year.

Sucker Punch studio’s ghost of Tsushima became a smash hit as soon as it became available. The game gained a great deal of hype as soon as its studio dropped the trailer. The graphics, combat system, and overall aesthetic of the game looked amazing for a PS4 game. That said, many gamers weren’t sure if Ghost of Tsushima would live up to the expectations because there have been plenty of times when studios dropped fantastic game trailers, only to disappoint with the final game.
Ubisoft has especially gained a great deal of notoriety for this, which is a major reason why its once beloved Assasin’s Creed franchise is not as popular among avid gamers these days. Fortunately, Sucker Punch studios met the fan’s expectations and then some by creating a fantastic open-world game, set in Japan. Many compared Ghost of Tsushima to Assassin’s Creed because of its excellent stealth mechanics, combat, and story elements. However, when you compare the two, it is easy to see that the game developers

Sony plans to continue developing first-party games for the PS4 until 2025, so you don’t need to sell your PS4 just yet. The primary reason why Sony decided to extend the PS4s life is the shortage of PS5 consoles. If you are a PlayStation enthusiast and have been following any news regarding it, you will know that PS5 are not easily available. Scalping and the shortage of important chips used in the console are among the main reasons why many people haven’t been able to buy the PS5 so far.
The fact that many vendors are charging 800 to 1000 Dollars for a 500 Dollar console make matters even worse. All of these reasons have caused Sony to revise its strategies and extend the PS4s life for a few more years. Initially, the plan was to discontinue third party games by the end of 2022, but things have changed massively.
This could mean that many games that were only releasing for the PS5 may become available for the PS4 as well. Many of the latest games like Cyber Punk and Horizon:

After the release of FIFA 22 last year, there were plenty of rumors going around, suggesting that this could be the last collaboration between EA and FIFA. Initially, not many people paid attention to these reports because the EA and FIFA partnership had been going on for almost 3 decades and things were going relatively smoothly.
Now, however, it is all but confirmed that FIFA and EA have parted ways and EA plans to continue producing football games without football’s governing body. The upcoming football game by EA will be known as EA Sports FC.
What Caused the Partnership to End
It would be fair to say that the partnership between FIFA and EA was arguably the most successful in the commercial world. It is a major reason why sports fans were shocked after learning that the two decided to go different ways. FIFA and Electronic Arts had tense negotiations for months, where both tried to continue their longstanding partnership. However, the two could not come to an
