Epic Games programs two fates for Carmine in GOW3 in case of early spoiler leaks.
If you remember back in 2010, Epic Games stated that fans of Gears of War 3 will have a voice in the decision of what will happen to the character Carmine. This was done via purchasing one of the two shirts with one saying "Save Carmine" and another saying "Carmine must die". The opening to Epic's GOW3 is now available.
It just weeks away from Epic Games releasing the conclusion to Gears of War 3 and they decided at Gamescom in Germany this past week to release to the general public, the opening cinematic movie of the game. While it does have a hint of being a bit spoiler-ish, it is definitely worth watching as it tells you (through the mind of Anya Stroud) about what the world in Gears of War 3 has become.

Microsoft andEpic Games have just recently announced thatGears of War 3 pre-ordershas reached Gold status before its worldwide launch on September 20th. With this news reaching all over the gaming world, Epic Games and Microsoft decided that it was time to celebrate this achievement with an epic cake.

id Software states that you must buy a new Rage if you want to use the sewers.
A number of publishers are cutting off game content with things like online passes (one-time use code that be generally unavailable to those who buy any game used). Usually this cuts off things like online multiplayer or highly praised game content. In this case, Rage won't.

Analyst Predicts Good September due to Gears of War 3 and Madden releases
Mentioned here on The Escapist online magazine, Arvind Bhata, an financial analyst with Sterne Agee, stated that while July was probably one the worst months in the video game industry and August not looking too bright as well, September will be a large improvement with the release of big titles like Gears of War and Madden 2012.

James "Hawkprey" Hawkins, the artist behind Gears of War
Ever notice that Epic Games line of games' artwork and style have a lot in common? For example, Gears of War has a Unreal Tournament vibe to it as well as Bulletstorm. Well it's no coincidence as those games have the same artist behind it. That artist is known as James "Hawkprey" Hawkins.
Hawkins is the concept artists at Epic Games and was part of establishing the look for all its games.

While there has been NERF lancers done before in the past, some people try to surpass one another by adding more detail or doing something different from others.
