Halo: The Master Chief Collection will soon get an update that will finally add a system to punish quitters. As it currently stands, players can quit matchmaking games half way through with very little punishment which leaves games unbalanced and unfair, especially in team games.
Thankfully 343 Industries has nearly completed development for a system that will punish and discourage quitters. Unfortunately 343 didn't go into much detail about how the Master Chief Collection will punish quitting. Instead, a small blog post was listed to explain that the upcoming patch will "address a variety of areas, including ranking, will add new systems for quitting and penalties, and will improve a number of community items."
So far, 343 Industries has not set a release date for the changes, but it would be safe to say that the new changes will be released in a patch before the end of the year. Hopefully in between now and then we'll hear some further details about exactly how the quitting

A brand new patch has been released for Mortal Kombat X and it brings a number of different tweaks to a variety of different characters in the game. The latest patch is already available on the PlayStation 4 but it's not quite ready for either the Xbox One or the PC.
Most of the changes are quite small, but you may notice small tweaks here and there whilst playing. Nearly all of the changes fall into one of two categories - bug fixes or game balancing.
Below, we have a list of some of the more important character tweaks made.
+ D'Vorah (Venomous) - Adjusted the Poison Stack algorithm to prevent the top end from getting so high
+ Ermac (Spectral) - Fixed a bug in which he could get stuck in flight controls
+ Goro - Fixed a bug which was preventing Krush from having its landing location chosen
+ Goro - Slightly increased the input window to meterburn PunchWalk on hit
+ Jacqui (Full Auto) - Decreased the block advantage on Up Rocket by 5 and

The last chapter of Life is Strange has finally received a release date. The final episode for Life is Strange has been named Polarized and it will be released on October 20.
There is one small twist, however. Because Polarized has not yet been completed, the Life is Strange developers cannot promise that the last episode will be finished by October 20. If everything goes to plan, however, players will definitely be able to get their hands on the final chapter on the aforementioned release date.
Square Enix has made a little mention of the release date on a blog post, further explaining why the October 20 release date is not 100% set in stone.
"We don't normally announce a date until we know the game is 100% ready but in the spirit of Max's birthday (today) we wanted to let you know early that we are aiming to release Episode 5 ‘Polarized’ October 20."
"Many things can change in the lead up to release but the team are working really hard to try and hit this date.

The new Destiny VIP rewards are now available for players to redeem in-game. Bungie previously announced which players will be rewarded with the VIP rewards and exactly what the rewards will be, but now they are finally available to Destiny's most veteran players.
As mentioned in the past, players must either have reached Light level 30 with one character or have purchased both The Dark Below and House of Wolves expansions before August 31, 2015 to be eligible for the VIP rewards.
Players will need to play The Taken King to redeem the VIP rewards as well, which means purchasing the latest $40 expansion. We wouldn't say the VIP rewards are worth purchasing The Taken King for, but if you already fit into the above criteria then the rewards are a nice addition.
Included in the Destiny VIP rewards is a unique armor shader, a sparrow and a player emblem. The Sparrow is called the S-34 Ravensteel and features a matte black color. I definitely think the Ravensteel is one of

Fallout's Pete Hines has taken to Twitter to answer a few questions from Fallout 4 fans. As a result, we've managed to learn a few things about romance options, Fallout 3 on the PlayStation 4, and more details about the wasteland.
One PlayStation 4 owner asked whether Fallout 3 was going to make it's way to the PS4. He asked this question because it was recently confirmed that Fallout 3 will soon be playable on the Xbox One. Pete Hines responded by saying that Bethesda haven't worked to put Fallout 3 on the Xbox One but instead have simply allowed Microsoft the rights to make Fallout 3 backwards compatible.
For that reason, if the PS4 were to be backwards compatible as well then players would also be able to play Fallout 3 on the PlayStation 4. As it stands right now, however, only the Xbox One can play Fallout 3 via the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Further through the week Pete Hines mentioned that players will not be able to build settlements anywhere within the

It hasn't been that long since the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but Konami has already announced the first DLC pack for the game. The new DLC doesn't add any significant content to Metal Gear Solid V. Instead, the upcoming DLC for MGSV will simply add some basic cosmetic items which do not have any affect on the gameplay whatsoever.
The new DLC information has come straight from Konami themselves at a press event at Tokyo Games Show. Konami has mentioned that the first DLC will include a number of different outfits for Metal Gear Online, horse armor and a few other cosmetic items.
Players will also be able to equip themselves with the Stealth Suit from Metal Gear Solid 3. If you're feeling like dressing in style, you'll also be able to equip Snake with a full tuxedo. The horse armor on the other hand adds a small touch to the horses - it has not been mentioned whether the horse armor will have any effect in the game or not, besides the cosmetic changes.

Recently a rumor has spread. The rumor has caused a lot of panic in the gaming community and there is a good reason for it. CD Projekt Red has been praised for being such a community driven development studio, especially since the release of The Witcher 3, but according to a rumor, EA were looking into buying out the entire CD Projekt Red team.
If this plan were to go ahead, EA would essentially have full control over all of CD Projekt Red's future content, which, as you can imagine, has struck fear in a lot of Witcher fan hearts.
Fortunately, the rumors have now been dismissed and absolutely 100% denied by CD Project Red. Below, a translated version of CD Projekt's chief executive Adam Kicinski's statement on the rumor has been posted.
"Usually we don't comment on rumors, but it's time to deny the one about takeover because it spread too far. In the name of the board, I would like to state: No, we are not in any talks about the sale of CD PROJEKT RED or GOG. Also,

You can't always trust retailer listings but it's very true that retailers are often one of the first organizations to hear about upcoming releases. One retailer in South Africa, named Raru, has recently listed a new game named The BioShock Collection and it has been described as a collection of BioShock titles for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Seeing game collections for the latest generation of consoles has become a common occurrence, but it's a little harder to believe the latest collection rumor because the developer behind the BioShock series has been effectively shut down.
This would mean that if Take Two Games wanted to release a collection for BioShock they would have to pull together the old development team or hire a completely new one that will be familiar with the BioShock series. If we can look past the disbanding of the BioShock dev team, having a BioShock collection for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 would be quite amazing.
In the past, Raru

Whilst the Pip-Boy collector's edition of Fallout 4 seemed like a big gimmick for a lot of gamers, it clearly is no joke to any Fallout fans out there. In fact, there will be no more Pip-Boy editions available for sale because they've all sold out.
Some rumors have circulated that Bethesda has purposely artificially limited the stock of the Fallout 4 collector's edition but Bethesda has opened up about the Pip-Boy and the truth is actually completely the opposite from this.
Despite Bethesda trying to increase production of the Pip-Boy as much as possible, the Fallout 4 Collector's Edition still sold out and Bethesda can no longer get hold of any more. In an interview with Gamespot, Bethesda's Pete Hines explained that, "We reached a point where we'd go back to the factories and they were like, 'guys, this is it, sorry.'"
When talking about keeping in touch with the factories responsible for production of the Pip-Boy, Hines mentioned, "We'd go back and say 'Demand for

WWE 2K16 is going to get what might just be the toughest guest character the franchise has ever seen. As you can imagine, a lot of players are getting super hyped up about the new guest character.
As the title suggests, the latest WWE title will see the Terminator as a guest character but unfortunately it will be limited to those that pre-order the game.
The news was revealed as part of a brand new release trailer for WWE 2K16. In the release trailer, a live action segment of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator is shown. The live action seen is a recreation of the bar scene from Terminator 2 and this time round the characters have been replaced with WWE wrestlers. On top of Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, the trailer features Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Paige and Eva Marie, as well as Finn Balor, who will be making his debut in WWE 2K16.
The trailer doesn't show Arnie in game so we don’t know how much of a resemblance his in-game character will have of him or exactly
