One of the most frustrating things I've come across in matchmaking for beat'em ups is the terrible behavior some players use when trying to avoid ruining their perfect win/loss ratio. One of these tactics involves turning the console off at the socket when they smell the scent of defeat, and another one simply involves quitting to the dashboard or home screen.
When you're an innocent player trying to slowly make his way up the ranks, this can be an incredibly common and frustrating sight. Luckily though, Killer Instinct developers will be putting a system into their free to play Xbox One game to stop quitters and allow fairer gameplay.
The new jail system will automatically but players who have quit percentages higher than 15% into the "jail pool." That allows the player to get the occasional power cut or other problem go by unharmed, but will punish those who repeatedly abuse the game by quitting when near defeat.

Earlier this week, Microsoft released a brand new car pack for Forza Motorsport 5. The car pack, which has been named the "Smoking Tire Pack," was released on February 4th, and came with a total of 10 new cars to test out in the game.
The Smoking Tire Pack DLC has been set at a $10 price tag, and includes a wide range of high profile sports cars, including iconic cars like the 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S Twin Turbo and the 2000 BMW Z8, among many other great vehicles.
Although you will have to cough up an extra $10 for the Smoking Tire Pack DLC for Forza Motorsport 5, if you actually want to use the cars in game, you will still have to purchase them in the marketplace by using the credits or tokens.
It has also been stated that you'll need to unlock them first, which should stop any new players jumping in with a brand new Maserati MC12 whilst other racers are still bumbling around with Mini Coopers and Peugeot city cars.
A lot of these cars range from releases

There's been talk about it, and after the successful closed alpha stage, I'm pretty sure Respawn Entertainment would be happy to release a beta for upcoming FPS Titanfall. New information from a French retailer suggests that there will be a Titanfall Beta, and it could be available as early as next month.
Posters have been shared in the stores of French retailer Micromania that suggest the Beta will start on February 14th, just in time to give you an excuse for forgetting all about Valentines day. According to the French poster, the beta will run through to February 19th, and it will be exclusive to those who pre-order through Micromania.
As Micromania is in fact a child company of GameStop, it would make sense that once again GameStop has bagged the goodies for the next big shooter game, and beta exclusivity may be for those who pre-order from GameStop or Micromania.
Seeing as February 14th isn't really that far off, I expect there will be an official announcement

Along with Watch Dogs, Tom Clancy's the Division is one of the few upcoming games I'm truly looking forward to. The game looks like a lot of great fun, and I've always been a fan of the Tom Clancy games.
If you're looking forward to the game as much as I am, you'll be excited to see some newly released screenshots of the game.
So far, not only is Tom Clancy's the Division looking to be one of the most interesting upcoming games in terms of playability, but it's starting to look very, very impressive in terms of graphical quality too.
The Snowdrop engine that is running Tom Clancy's the Division should make sure that the game looks beautiful and plays incredibly smoothly, but as always with "press ready" screenshots like these, we'll have to expect that these screenshots have been taken in the best environment possible, and i'm eagerly awaiting some true, unscripted gameplay footage.
Some gamers are speaking their concerns about the Division, and are worried that

So despite being originally planned for a release this Tuesday in North America, and this Friday in Europe, it seems a lot of gamers have managed to get their hands on Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition a couple of days early.
Square Enix has not said anything about a possible early release date, but a lot of visitors to GameStop's stores across the globe have confirmed that they have managed to pick up Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, despite it the confirmed release date still being days away.
Square Enix's social media profiles have suggested that they still planned for the January 28th release date for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, so it sounds as if GameStop have made a bit of a mess up, or perhaps Square Enix had a deal in place that allowed them to sell the game earlier than the intended release date.
Either way, if you have a GameStop near you, and you're looking into buying Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, you may want to stop by to see if there are any copies

Hitman will be making a return to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and IO Interactive have unveiled some of their plans for the upcoming Hitman title.
IO Interactive has stated that players will see "a globetrotting Agent 47 at the prime of his career - the apex predator stalking his prey across the world, with the support of his long-term handler Diana Burnwood and the whole of the ICA."
IO seems to be focusing majorly on the reasons that made Hitman stand apart from it's competitors, and that of course comes down to the wide range of weapons that can be used to take out targets. Whether it's a playing card or the shoe off of your victim's feet, it's usually possible on Hitman, and IO are banking on this concept for the success of the next Hitman.
IO are hoping to go back to their roots and make the game feel more like the original than 2012's title.

Although Respawn Entertainment aren't yet sure on the status of a Beta for their upcoming FPS game TitanFall, an Alpha has been going on for the last few days, and a lot of players that have managed to get into the closed alpha are very impressed with the game so far.
It seems Respawn has loved the positive response to their game so much that they decided to extended the closed alpha to Monday, and whilst most players kept their lips sealed whilst under the NDA that prohibits the recording of alpha gameplay footage, like pretty much every public closed alpha or beta out there, some bad eggs decided to break the rules and record footage anyway, and then upload it to the internet.
What this means for us is that we get to have a sneak peak of the game before it's full release. We get to see unscripted, real, live bug-filled alpha gameplay in all of it's glory,

For some of you, news of concept art might sound a bit boring. It's one of the major milestones in game development though, and you can usually get a pretty good idea of how a game is going to look through concept art.
Some new concept art has been shown of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I'm pretty happy to see that the world is shaping up to be pretty magnificent.
The graphics on the previous Dragon Age games have never been stunning, but they've certainly never been bad enough to put you off playing the game, and I expect that Dragon Age: Inquisition will have graphics that are slightly more impressive than the previous title, even if it has been announced to be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3, along with next generation versions.
The concept that has been shown gives us the impression the Inquisition will take place in the same grimy & mythical environments as the previous games, and a lot of the huge open atmospheric spaces that you usually find yourself stumbling

If you haven't quite found the perfect character for your preferences in Killer Instinct, you may want to check out the new DLC that will be arriving to the game.
The new DLC includes Spinal, a character that has been around since the origins of Killer Instinct, and, like the rest of the game's current character roster, he has undergone massive changes to his appearance.
It's still easy to tell it's Spinal though, but the graphics upgrade given to him certainly makes him look like a badass. Spinal can be purchased for $5 as a DLC addition. It's unclear at this point whether it will be included in the $40 Ultra Edition that originally came with the first eight characters, accessory packs, costumes and the original Killer Instinct as an arcade game, but it's likely that you will have to throw out another 5 bucks for Spinal.
No details have been given on when the Spinal DLC will be available yet, but it's probably going to reach Xbox

I mentioned a while before about how the digital era of video games isn't quite here, and the main reason for that is because games have got to the stage where they are so graphically advanced, and so full of content that they take up masses of storage space.
The following news should simply prove my point further that digital downloads will not be able to push the disc format to extinction for at least another 5-10 years, at least where the console scene is concerned.
The news is that Dead Rising 3 has just received a huge 13GB download update, and to be honest, we're not quite sure why. Xbox Studio manager tweeted out "Wow, a 13GB DR3 update? Holy ... good thing I have 110mbps."
Unfortunately for those that live in more rural areas, you may have to wait a few hours, or a day, before your update completes.
One possible reason for this huge 13GB update is that it will patch in the four upcoming DLC packs for Dead Rising 3, which would mean that when a player
