No matter how hard one might try, it seems almost impossible to get a good TV series of a popular video game up and running. We've all wanted a Halo movie for years, and despite all of the great live action content we've been given, the best we've got is a web series.
The Defiance series on the SyFy channel took a bold step, but it didn't gain enough traction to get off the ground, so perhaps all video game based live action content will always be confined to the internet, instead of in the cinema or on the home TV.
Whilst this isn't the best situation for any would-be video game/movie crossover fans, it does still mean we can get some pretty legit web series' released, and one of these series may even be backed by the Titanfall team.
Although details are still quite minimal, it seems that Respawn have teamed up with Playfight to create some kind of live action series that will air on the internet. It'll be interesting to see how well developed this series will be,

Activision has just released four new DLC content packs for Call of Duty Ghosts that will be separate from the season pass. All four packs are small additions to the game that only change cosmetics, and they have all been released and been made available for purchase since the start of this week.
The four packs have been named 'personalization packs' and they include a few new items to change the appearance of your squad members in-game.
The first pack is the Makarov Legend Pack. This pack allows players to don the appearance of Vladimir Makarov, one of the most well known villains in the whole of Call of Duty. On top of the multiplayer Makarov skin, the Makarov Legend Pack comes with a themed weapon camo, a new reticle, a player patch, playercard and background. This pack can be picked up for $3.99

Just as the player appreciation month for Battlefield's players comes to an end, DICE has released a brand new screenshot to show off the upcoming Battlefield 4 DLC pack, which has been named Naval Strike.
The new DLC pack has been scheduled to launch later this month, although Battlefield Premium players will be able to access the content two weeks before any other players. As the name Naval Strike suggests, the DLC will be filled with content focused on a water-filled theme.
This DLC pack will include four new maps set in the South China Sea. All four levels will have some element of water based combat, however, it's unclear what these maps will actually consist of.
On top of the four new maps, the Naval Strike DLC pack will also come with five new weapons, a new amphibious hovercraft vehicle that has been shown in the released Naval Strike screenshot, and a new mode called Carrier Assault. This game has been rumored to be similar to Titan mode in Battlefield 2142,

Somehow, it looks as if pretty much all information about Titanfall has been let out into the wild, and through all of these leaks, we can learn a bunch of new information about the upcoming Microsoft exclusive first person shooter.
The most interesting leak that's been picked up after the maps leak is something that pertains to the information of a prestige system similar to the ones found in Call of Duty games.
According to the leaker, the prestige system in Titanfall will be called Generations, and when a player decides to reset their rank to Generation 2, they'll lose all of their unlocked perks, and they will start back at level 1.
The bonuses of Generation 2 is that players will receive 110% XP at all times, and a unique badge to show off in-game. All burn card earnt in Generation 1 will be kept, and no details have been given on whether there will be any more Generations, and what bonuses players may receive for prestiging more than once.

Last week it was revealed that the Xbox One Titanfall bundle will be getting a 30 Euros discount in the UK, bringing the price of the next gen console slightly closer to the PlayStation 4's price. However, at the time, it was clear that the PlayStation 4 was still a better deal, and despite the price drop from 430 to 399 Euros, the Xbox One Titanfall bundle still wasn't cheap enough to sway any PlayStation gamers to the Microsoft side of the fence.
This week, GameStop has decided to bump it up a notch by reducing the Xbox One's price as well, bringing the console price even lower than the original price cut. The console bundle has now been reduced another 30 Euros, making the console price 369 Euros.
This bundle also comes packed with a digital copy of Titanfall, a standard controller, the Kinect sensor, and of course the console as well. The Titanfall standard SKU will also come with a headset for talking on Xbox LIVE, and a 1 month free trial of Xbox LIVE Gold.

If you purchased Halo Spartan Assault before February 14th, it probably means two things; you're a big Halo fan and love anything related to the series, and you're going to get a sweet new ride in Forza 5, courtesy of the Halo community at Halo Waypoint.
Last year, around the same time that Forza 5 was released, Halo Waypoint teamed up with Turn 10 to create a beautifully designed Halo Spartan Assault themed 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 for a few special people. Whilst it may not be as cool as the Forza warthog that got released in a previous Forza title, it did strengthen the bond between the Forza 5 development team and the Halo community just a little more.
Anyway, the awesome 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 has now been made available for anybody that decided to purchase Halo Spartan Assault for Xbox One before February 14th, so if you're in that group, you should now be able to find your awesome Halo

The Titanfall beta was great fun - it captured the fast paced adrenaline fueled environment of Call of Duty and banked on it by including jetpacks, parkour, and crazy giant mechs. And, despite previous concerns, the AI in the game work really well, too.
A lot of the people I've spoken to that have also experienced the Titanfall beta have stated that they really enjoyed the game too, but there was one thing that didn't come up in our conversations.
What I'm talking about is replay value - in the beta, there were just two levels, and two standard Titans. Players could only level up to rank 14, and there was a very limited weapon customization system. I was worried that Titanfall could get boring really quickly, and without any idea of what content the game could offer, I can't be the only one that has wondered whether Titanfall would be worth buying at launch.
Luckily, a lot of information has leaked, and we can

Kiether Sutherland, the man behind 24's Jack Bauer, and the English voice actor for Big Boss in Hideo Kojima's upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5, (both the Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes) has apparently been doing some voice work for an upcoming Mortal Kombat game.
In an interview with IGN, Sutherland revealed that he had done a bit of additional voice acting work besides MGSV, and decided to mention that he had been involved with voice acting for a Mortal Kombat game.
Sutherland said "I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game, but it's so not like Metal Gear Solid 5." We've not yet seen Sutherland's acting in any released Mortal Kombat game, so although it's not 100% confirmed, it sounds as if NetherRealm Studios has got another MK game in the works.
Creative director for the Mortal Kombat series, Ed Boon, did confirm at one point in 2012 that the next title in the franchise would most likely be available for next gen consoles, so perhaps we can expect a new fighting

Microsoft has now confirmed that the next DLC pack for Dead Rising 3, the third in a series of single player related add-on content, will be available for purchase on Tuesday, February 25th.
The upcoming Dead Rising 3 DLC will be the penultimate add-on, and has been named the 'Chaos Rising expansion pack.' So far, Operation Broken Eagle and Fallen Angel have been released, making Chaos Rising the third DLC pack for Dead Rising 3 released in the last two months.
So far, details for Chaos Rising have not been confirmed, which is quite surprising, considering that the release date is just tomorrow. However, like the last two packs, it's likely that Chaos Rising will include a new chunk of story content, and it may also focus on a new protagonist, and most likely will add a bunch of new weapons and a few new vehicles to Dead Rising 3.
Chaos Rising and the other two released DLC packs have been confirmed to all be part of the 'Untold Stories of Los Perdidos' series, and

An article keeps popping up on Computerandvideogames, and in fact, at the time of writing, it was the most popular post on the entire website, despite it being written around 4 years ago. The article reveals a story about DICE, and their overall succumb to publisher pressure, and the article, four years later, is filled with irony and unfortunately, not of the funny kind.
The article depicts an interview with DICE's senior producer at the time with Xbox World 360 Magazine asking all of the questions. One question that made the title of the article was about paid-for content, maps and DLC.
At the time a DLC pack for Modern Warfare 2 was released for 1200 Microsoft Points, however, it was met with quite a lot of frowns on that day. The reason for this was because DICE had released a free DLC pack on the exact same day for their game at the time, Battlefield Bad Company 2.
When asked about all of this, Patrick Bach, DICE's senior producer at the time, stated
