Overwatch may just be the next biggest thing in eSports. Recently an eSports event covering an Overwatch game that featured some familiar names made it's way to the front page of Twitch.
Pulling in over 18,000 viewers at peak, the Overkill tournament had a $5,000 prize pool on the line and it saw competitive teams battle it out in the Overwatch beta. Since then, the beta for Overwatch has ended but it was certainly a spectacular way for Blizzard to end the whole event.
During the 18,000 viewer peak, Cloud 9 and Reunited.gg played against each other in a huge, marathon-like best of nine series. In the series, Cloud 9 managed to come out on top with an impressive 5-3 score line. Despite winning two more games than Reunited.gg, the match was still a lot closer than you'd have expected and it really showed the eSports potential, both for competitive play and for the viewing experience.
In fact, one map saw Cloud 9 get 99/100 percent for the capture on LiJiang Tower before

If you didn't want to pay upfront for Paragon there wasn't much of a chance you would have been able to get into the recent closed beta. The Epic Games team has planned an open beta for all players, however, and it looks as if we're finally getting details on exactly when the open beta will pan out.
The upcoming open beta will start on April 28 and will run until May 1. This upcoming four day Paragon weekend will be the first phase for the open beta, whilst a second phase will spark up open beta play a week later and will continue till May 8. Servers will open up on both April 28 and May 5 at 9AM Pacific Time.
If you already signed up for beta access in the past, chances are that you should be able to play during the first phase, although it's not absolutely guaranteed. Epic Games mentioned in their press release that, The first stress test will include invites for the first 500,000 people who signed up for the beta only.
If you haven't signed up yet, you still can

The Humble Bundle is a weekly offer that takes place each week. Games are listed in different bundles on the Humble Bundle website each week and visitors can pay what they want for a number of games. If a visitor pays over the average price, they will receive a number of other rewards.
The entirety of the earnings from the Humble Bundle go to charity so there is no better way to pick up a selection of great games for cheap whilst funding something that goes to a good cause.
This week, the Humble Bundle offers a number of Tom Clancy titles. If you pay over $1 you will be given Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Gold, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon.
Paying more than the average donation price (currently sitting around $10) will reward players with copies of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Deluxe Edition, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and more importantly

It has become quite common for developers to push back the release date of games and rightfully so. With a delayed release, developers are given a better chance to fine tune a game before it launches. Gears of War 4 has not had much shown off to the world so it would come as no surprise if the game had to be delayed.
What is surprising though is that Gears of War 4 has just been pushed forward. This means that the game will be available earlier than previously anticipated. In the past, Gears of War 4 was set for release in the 2016 Holidays but it has now been pushed forward to Fall 2016.
Whilst this jump in time isn't that significant, it should mean that gamers will be able to purchase the upcoming Gears of War title before the inevitable holiday rush for other new releases that happens each year. Fortunately we will be getting a glimpse of Gears of War 4 before Fall 2016. In Spring, a beta for Gears of War 4 will be available online.
Whilst there is no guaranteed

Battleborn will be Gearbox Studios' latest video game. Even though Battleborn will be a completely different genre to Borderlands, there's something about it that almost feels like it's had inspiration from Borderlands, or perhaps it's just Gearbox's art styles that are bleeding through into the MOBA genre too.
During Paris Games Week, Sony unveiled the Battleborn beta plans. According to the event hosts at Sony's Paris Games Week event, the Battleborn beta will be coming to PlayStation 4 before any other platforms.
Whilst it was revealed that the beta will be available on PS4 first, the previously announced closed technical tests will still take place at the same time on all consoles, which begins on October 29.
The open betas, which will take place on the PlayStation 4 first, will begin next year. Unfortunately the time that the open beta will land on the PlayStation 4 was not mentioned at the event. There was a bit of confusion about the PC beta too, which may or

Over the weekend, thousands of players were invited to try out the closed beta for Rainbow Six: Siege, the upcoming tactical shooter from Ubisoft. The beta started on Thursday after the pre-beta technical test ended and it continued to early on Monday morning.
A lot of players have been very impressed with Rainbow Six: Siege, which seems to wonderfully blend inspiration from a wide range of different titles. There's no doubt that Siege really does feel like it's own game in it's own right, despite having some game modes and game mechanics similar to Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Battlefield and even Arma 3.
For the most part, the beta went by smoothly, although the beginning did have a few issues. A lot of players did complain about the inability to pre-load the beta and in the first few hours, server issues were fairly common. Past the launch of the beta, most players managed to play without any complaints.
Surprisingly Rainbow Six: Siege managed to run smoothly on

A new Master Chief Collection update has been planned to improve online matchmaking, but strangely 343 Industries will not make the update available to all players straight away.
The update, which has since been delayed, was planned to fix many issues with the current in-game matchmaking system. Whilst 343 Industries did mention that they would release the update this month, new plans reveal that most players will not get to experience the update at all.
Before full release, the matchmaking update will be pushed to a select few US beta participants, and these members will be able to help stress test the matchmaking before it is finally rolled out globally.
To enter the beta process and be in with a chance of entering the matchmaking beta, you must reside in the US and join the Xbox One preview program. 343 Industries gave a small statement about the update.
"In recent weeks, we have been conducting extensive internal testing of an upcoming content update for

Whilst Zenimax Studios have been busy preparing the release of the Elder Scrolls Online for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, another MMO developer has been working on something else that could completely ruin the release of the ESO.
The game in question is Neverwinter, a free to play MMO that landed on the PC in 2013. In February this year, the same Neverwinter that made it to PC will be coming to the Xbox One in the form of a closed beta.
The closed beta will be accessible to a limited amount of players, chosen from a pool of players who have signed up for beta access on the Neverwinter website. The beta will last for three days and will begin on the 5th of February.
Whilst Neverwinter is free to play, an Xbox Live Gold membership will be required to play it. In the new version of Neverwinter, aimed for consoles, the game will be compatible with the Xbox friends list so players can easily team up together for dungeons, quests or PVP.
On top of the friends
