Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is continuing what Infinity Ward started when it rebooted the popular franchise in 2019. Upon receiving feedback and reviews from many early access players, Infinity Ward has made myriad changes and updates to MW2. The game is out now, and we finally know the features and list of maps available in Season One. Call of Duty: MW2 was released on October 28 across PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
A New Formula with Tested Traditions
Call of Duty entered a new era courtesy of a new year of the gaming franchise that will bring all types of sweeping changes. Note that, like Call of Duty: MW in 2019, the new title aims to evolve and improve the formula of the series while maintaining all tried and tested traditions.
Changes
Most of the changes in this update focus on fixing issues and glitches that players were having in the game. Things like point-of-view specifics for high and low-zoom optics, improved enemy visibility,

The Pokémon Company has recently introduced Pokémon scarlet and violet, the two newest entries in the long-running Pokémon RPG series. This entry in the series features the 9th generation of Pokémon and will be released on the 18th of November. From the few snippets and gameplay sneak peeks of the game, it seems to be a great game with limitless potential. In addition, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will also see the return of many veteran players who had followed it since the beginning, when Pokémon Red was released, mainly because this is the first entry that is an entirely open world. Pokémon might have a lot going for it, but it will not matter if the people do not like the gameplay and feel of the game, and the place which will be a major determinant for the game's success is Twitch.
What Do Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Have To Offer?
The thing with the entirety of the Pokémon franchise is that there is no one best Pokémon game. If you asked Pokémon

Sucker Punch studio’s ghost of Tsushima became a smash hit as soon as it became available. The game gained a great deal of hype as soon as its studio dropped the trailer. The graphics, combat system, and overall aesthetic of the game looked amazing for a PS4 game. That said, many gamers weren’t sure if Ghost of Tsushima would live up to the expectations because there have been plenty of times when studios dropped fantastic game trailers, only to disappoint with the final game.
Ubisoft has especially gained a great deal of notoriety for this, which is a major reason why its once beloved Assasin’s Creed franchise is not as popular among avid gamers these days. Fortunately, Sucker Punch studios met the fan’s expectations and then some by creating a fantastic open-world game, set in Japan. Many compared Ghost of Tsushima to Assassin’s Creed because of its excellent stealth mechanics, combat, and story elements. However, when you compare the two, it is easy to see that the game developers

Last week we predicted that Call of Duty’s Battle Royale mode would launch soon, and we weren’t disappointed. Activision launched Call of Duty: Warzone on March 10th, and thus far it’s been an awesome experience.
The game features 150 player Battle Royale, where players are dropped into a large map that sees players duking it out for one man to come out on top. Surprisingly, Warzone is a free to play endeavor, meaning that you don’t have to purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in order to get your gameplay on.
Warzone was developed by Infinity Ward, and it manages to keep pace with the big boys in the serious Battle Royale shooter genre like PUBG and Apex Legends. The game features a revive mode, which lets you battle another player for a chance to be revived in the game. This novel concept adds a lot of depth to the game, making it stand out from the competition.

Details on the upcoming Gears 5 controller have been leaked, with a sexy new design showing a blue, white, and gray color scheme.
The custom Xbox Controller will launch alongside the Gears 5 game in September and will offer up a design unlike anything else that Microsoft has put out alongside their popular games in the past. The controller appears to be releasing alongside a matching stand, which sees a Gears logo that seems to flow between both devices.
The Gears 5 controller is an excellent way to draw in players to get new hardware, as the game itself is hotly anticipated. Microsoft has revealed that multiplayer servers for the game will be 60Hz for the first time, allowing for fast gameplay for those on all Xbox consoles and PCs. We’re geeked, as we loved the beta gameplay that we got to experience last month.
Of course, we’re going to continue offering custom Xbox controllers to our customers, which has a variety of enhancements,

Renowned streamer Ninja has announced that he’s decided to stop streaming on Twitch and will be moving to Microsoft owned Mixer on an exclusive basis.
Ninja posted a video where he had a faux press conference, announcing that he’s moving to Mixer, which has lagged behind competition like Twitch and YouTube since it launched four years ago with the name Beam. Microsoft bought into Mixer in 2017 and has been putting in the work to make it a formidable competitor to the above services.
Ninja had the title of largest streamer on Twitch, having 14 million followers and peaking at 130,000 peak visitors. He’s since been usurped by other players, but still was among the top names on the platform.
The first stream from Ninja did on Mixer was on August 2nd and took place live from Lollapalooza and had more than 80,000 viewers concurrently. He also has generated more than 300,000 followers as of press time. While these numbers don’t hold a candle to his Twitch numbers, they’re

A 16 year old pro-gamer has shocked the world by winning the first-ever Fortnite World Cup, raking in a huge $3 million prize in the process.
The big winner is Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf of Pennsylvania, who took home the largest eSports prize in history. He ended up besting 99 other players in the final round and survived against 40 million other players who participated in the prelims.
The big winner is enrolled in high school and certainly appears set for life after the “epic” (pun intended) win. The eSports tournament took place at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center in New York, and featured some of the best players in the world.
Bugha plays about six hours a day on school nights, starting usually around 3 and playing until 9. He works around his homework schedule but obviously can use a bit more time on weekends and during the summer.
Of course, we’re thrilled whenever we hear of someone winning a huge prize,

In an interesting move to stand out from the crowd, Xbox has announced a bright and colorful red Xbox One controller.
The new all-red controller is expected to hit the online Xbox store from January 11. By all-red, we really mean it by the way. Everything from the accents on the buttons to the chassis and bumper buttons is red. The only hint of non-red is seen on the Xbox symbol, which remains white.
The new controller will be on sale for $64.99, and GameStop will also stock it, both online and in-store.
This isn't the first time Xbox has attempted to offer their customers new personalization options. In the past, they released the Xbox Design Lab, which allowed players to pick out their own colors for each part of an Xbox One controller.
Despite the selection of colors, the Xbox One Design Lab still can't trump our own Custom Controller Creator - we add a greater range of colors for selection, and also have a variety of decals and fancier graphics available

Microsoft just announced their latest controller changes. They are introducing a brand new controller design that includes paddles, remappable buttons, swappable components, and trigger locks. All of these new enhancements are scheduled for release this Fall. Microsoft is gearing its new design towards the "elite gamers" and tournament level players. The paddles and remappable buttons should impact the competitive gaming scene dramatically.
It is unknown at the time if Sony will return with their own new controller design but we speculate that they will have to answer to Microsoft's controller. Sony already has remappable buttons but will they also add the paddles and trigger stops? We will have to wait and see how they decide to answer. If they want to stay ahead they will have to keep the competitive gamer in mind.
The new Xbox One controller design has the hardcore gamer in mind and will definitely be a hit. The price hasn't been discussed yet but with all the additional

The first Battlefield Hardline DLC has now been announced by Visceral Games and some of the content we can expect to find in the expansion has been detailed.
The first Battlefield Hardline DLC has been called Criminal Activity. As expected, Criminal Activity will come with four new maps. The expansion may include other content as well but at this point in time it has not be announced by Visceral Games or EA.
Two of the new Battlefield Hardline maps will be set at night, whilst the other two will be set at day. All four maps will be set in Florida and California so we can expect to be fighting in an urban environment. Personally I think urban maps are the best settings for Hardline, so it's great to see we’ll be getting some more city action soon.
Unfortunately no solid release date for Criminal Activity has yet been revealed. We do know that the next DLC pack for Battlefield Hardline, which is scheduled for release after Criminal Activity will be launching in the summer
