So last week we let you know about an upcoming Call of Duty Ghosts multiplayer reveal trailer. Well today the trailer has hit, and I've got to say i'm more than disappointed. Not because the multiplayer shown was lackluster or boring, but simply because the trailer that was shown didn't actually show any game play at all.
Instead, we've been given a 36 second video that announces a few events that will take place across the world where we'll actually see the multiplayer in action.
The first event will be August 15th, so although that date isn't too far away and we'll finally be able to see some actual gameplay footage, this new reveal trailer hasn't done the new Call of Duty: Ghosts game any favors.
It would have seen some gameplay to hype us up for the release, and to be honest this new reveal or announcement trailer or whatever it is really only let players of the series down.
Hopefully Infinity Ward can surprise us with something new and exciting

Fans were a little disappointed when Lucasarts officially closed down and Disney took control of Lucusfilms. Many gamers expected that this meant there were not going to be any more Star Wars themed games, but DICE shocked us all at E3 with a small 20 second teaser revealing Star Wars: Battlefront, a game that has long been wanted by many gamers and Star Wars fans alike.
EA games label president Frank Gibeau has talked a little about DICE's progress on the game at EA's FY14 Q1 earnings call and stated that "The DICE team is well into development on that product already, so we feel very bullish about our shooter rotation over the next several years."
Gibeau also went on to saying that Battlefront 3 will have a third-person component to it, hinting that the third game in the series will offer both third-person and first-person just like the previous games.
A release window hasn't been given on the game, but we can definitely expect to hear more about it soon, and I would

So it seems this time round DICE and EA have decided to partner up with Microsoft instead of Sony to offer timed exclusivity to the new Xbox One.
Battlefield 4 players will be able to get a map pack, named the Second Assault earlier than on any other console. We've already seen this kind of model on previous games, including Battlefield 3, a game that had timed exclusivity for the PlayStation 3.
Whilst this doesn't really strike up much of an issue (every console will have access to the maps at some point) it does bring up the need for a discussion on publishers and their attempts to turn every developer's actions into a bunch of cash.
Publishers have been strict on developers, forcing them to include day one DLC, season passes and exclusive deals for specific platforms. This can be an unsavory experience for us gamers, and makes us feel like nothing more than consumers of a product instead of gamers of a game that’s been developed by a passionate

As the release date for Battlefield 4 draws closer, we are hearing more and more about the different versions and DLC the game will include.
For those in the UK, GAME has recently struck a deal with EA and DICE to release a Battlefield 4 exclusive deluxe edition that comes with a bunch of downloadable content.
The deluxe edition will cost 64.99 (Pounds) for both PS3 and Xbox 360, and will include the previously announced China Rising DLC pack, among other things.
The extra bonuses will include currently unannounced in-game content, Battlefield 4, and a Battlefield 4 steel book cover.
The DLC will also be available for purchase for those who order the standard version. Currently there is no information on whether a US alternative to the deluxe edition will make it to retail.
Battlefield 4 will make it to Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29th, with an Xbox One and PS4 release following afterwards.

Two Battlefield Characters
Although we won't hear any solid details on DICE's next big first person shooter till GDC on March 26th, we still can keep our ears and eyes peeled over at the official website, where it seems EA and DICE have released two new pieces of artwork for the game.
Of course we're all eager to see some new footage or screenshots on game environments, weapons or combat after their previous trailers, but the two new art pieces seem to reveal two new elements that will play a close role in the story.
Two new characters are shown, one in each image. One image shows a woman who has also been named Hanna, however the other image shows

An anonymous source jumped at the chance to grab the domain name, modernwarfare3.com, before Activision had the chance to secure ownership. Users who plugged in this domain name were routed away from any Call of Duty website, and originally were directed to an anti-Call of Duty video. Whoever runs the domain name is making an obvious statement of displeasure against the Call of Duty franchise.
Recently, however, users who plug in modernwarfare3.com are being redirected to DICEs official Battlefield 3 website. This raises an interesting debate over who runs the website domain name. It is unlikely that the site is run by DICE or Electronic Arts, given the bad public response they would endure as a
