I was happy enough to be invited to a release party for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Valentines hosted by the nice people who organize the annual Devastation tournament, which, in my opinion, was certainly better than some lame date with some guy I barely know that felt obligated to have a Valentine. Although it was over an hour of a trek, another Evil coworker and I gladly drove out, Evil D-pads and swag in arms to give away to attendees.
The party was at the Best Buy out in Surprise, AZ, and probably housed over 50 excited gamers in attendance. Both Evil Controllers and Monster attended the event and handed out goodies (apparently Monster drinks now come in turbo form with even more energy boosting capabilities….oy vey). People from all sorts of backgrounds attended, young, old, mid life crisis range, to play Marvel vs. Capcom 3 hours before the official release, using both our Evil D-Pad controllers or joystick pads

Customer Service @ Evil Controllers
While we definitely enjoy the holiday season over here at EC, this past holiday was a stressful time. We want to formally apologize to anyone that felt they did not receive stellar customer service in the months of December and January. The sales volume we were experiencing was enormous, and it became a little hard for us to keep up. We are definitely the hardest on ourselves, and it is time for us to recognize these growing pains.
As a result, we have hired several more employees so we can handle a larger number of customers. We strive to give the best service possible, and we hope that everyone has a positive experience with us!
Thank you to everyone for being patient with us,
Evil Controllers

Girl Gaming Month Blog:
Ambassador Copiozo's Top Three Female Video Game CharactersOkay, so Ambassador Reyes displayed his three top three female characters in video games. I might as well throw my hat into the ring and display my top three. As an added bonus, I'm going go the extra mile and instead of using normal images from gaming, I'm going provide a cosplay picture of each of them, to spice up things a bit. Also you're gonna be a bit surprised by this list if have read my articles in the past and noticed my fanboying over Thief Rikku from FFX-2. I wanted to be fair and have a bit of variety, so one character per franchise/series. Also, if I did put her or Yuna or Paine down...you'd be reading a novel. Enjoy.

Game News - Square-Enix to reorganize from its Financial Mistakes.
Whenever a new game in the Final Fantasy series is released, it is likely that all Square-Enix had to do was sit back and count the money from the profits coming in. But in the past years of 2009 and 2010, it seemed like that's not a reality. After the release of Final Fantasy XIII in Japan and shortly an American release in early 2010, the company saw its title as the fastest selling title ever for Square Enix, going at a record number of five million copies sold. However,in late 2010, they sent out Final Fantasy XIV, which was advertised to be a hefty MMORPG competition for World of Warcraft and a high profit maker for Square (which they put in a lot of money in its

Personal blogger story of Red Ring
Over winter break I went out of town for about two weeks, and while I was gone I figured that would be the perfect time for maintenance to come in and work on a few things around my apartment. When I returned home I was shocked to see my Xbox completely unplugged and knocked over on its side. At first I just blew it off, and plugged everything back in, didn't thinking twice about it, I turned my Xbox on only to find out it had red ringed! I was furious!
Such a terrible welcome home present! But luckily the company who is in charge

Console News - PS3 Saves, No Need for Memory Cards!
As seen here, Sony introduced to its developers of one of its newest feature, the ability save your games via "cloud storage". What is "cloud storage" you ask? "Cloud storage" is where instead of saving data to hardware on the PS3, you may save your data remotely on a server. This method would mean that you can play your PS3 games' saves anywhere atanytime without the need of a memory card.
There are two catches to this feature. First, the service will only be available to those with the Playstation Plus subscription service. Secondly,Sony stated that developers have the option to opt-out of using the cloud storage

Game "Journey" to be Made as Art
Millions of gamers will run up to the plate to defend videogames as a legitimate art form, but not every game is truly artistic. The attribute of being artistic is a difficult attribute to define because every gamer and every critic has their own idea of what makes something undeniably Art. Without going down the path of trying to make a case of what makes a videogame artistic, or what doesn't, let's just say that every year a few titles come out that the general consensus agrees has artistic merit. In recent years these titles have been; Braid, Shadow of the Colossus, Limbo, Flower, Portal, and BioShock, just to name

Game News - Dead Space 2, Awesome New Weapon for more Pew Pew power!!!
Leave it to the developers of Dead Space 2 to have a sense of humor. The game has barely been released and everyone out there has been informed of an easter egg of deadly and humorous force. Seen here, if you were to beat the game under its hardcore difficulty, you are rewarded with playing the game again...only this time with the most uniquely humorous weapon this blogger has ever seen. Introducing the Foam Finger "Hand Cannon".
The stats, according to the video in the article, is that the "Hand Cannon" has +20% in both damage and speed. Not bad, but all serious stats aside, the real thing stands
