Due to the reception of the Xbox One Elite controller exceeding Microsoft's original plans, the stock for the controller has mostly been wiped out across the globe. Currently Microsoft is working on manufacturing more Xbox One Elite Controllers to meet the unexpected demand, but for now Xbox owners are limited for choices if they'd like to get their hands on a controller.
According to Phil Spencer, Microsoft is working right now to get more stock for the $150 controller that has advanced features. Phil Spencer has taken to Twitter to apologize for it being so hard for gamers to find an Xbox Elite controller.
Unfortunately Xbox can't promise that they'll get more units out in time for Christmas. Phil mentioned that, "Demand has just exceeded our planning. If you find one [Elite controller] and you want it, pick it up, sorry."
One option for those looking to get an Xbox One Elite controller for Christmas is to pick up one of the various Elite console bundles that feature

The backwards compatibility feature for the Xbox One has brought a lot of joy to many gamers around the world. A huge library of Xbox 360 games are already compatible with the new feature and more games are constantly being added to the compatibility list.
Some games unfortunately cannot be backwards compatible and in most cases this usually comes down to a developer's decision instead of a choice made by Microsoft.
Take Criterion's Burnout Revenge for example - This title was firstly released as an Xbox original game but it also received a release on the Xbox 360. Despite it being available on the 360, Criterion has spoken out stating that backwards compatibility support for this title was very unlikely.
When asked on Twitter about the possibility of Burnout Revenge's backwards compatibility support, Criterion Games simply stated that there were 'No plans for that right now.'
Whilst Burnout Revenge is being adapted for the Xbox One, Criterion has already confirmed

As it currently stands, it seems like players on the Xbox One are having trouble with some of the Black Ops 3 DLC that was released as pre-order bonuses to some players. Both the Nuketown map and the Giant Zombies DLC has been having issues and Microsoft has acknowledged that some players are having trouble with accessing their content.
"We understand some of you who purchased the Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Deluxe Edition are being prompted to repurchase a Season Pass for the game and can't access the NUK3TOWN and The Giant bonus maps. We want to assure you we're working to fix this as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience! We'll update you as soon as we know more."
Players who pre-purchased the Black Ops 3 Deluxe Edition were supposed to receive downloads for both Nuketown and Giant Zombies but those that have purchased this version on the Xbox One have come across a bug that asks users to re-purchase the season pass to unlock the content.

When Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was announced, the developers revealed that pre-ordering the game would make players eligible for all four of the previous Gears of War games on Xbox 360 - these titles would be provided to players via digital download codes and they would be sent out once the backwards compatibility patch goes live on the Xbox One.
Well good news is that the plans for the backwards compatible Gears of War games are still going ahead and now that the backwards compatible patch has been released, Coalition games has mentioned exactly when the four Xbox 360 Gears of War titles will be available for the Ultimate Edition pre-orderers.
According to Microsoft, all four backwards compatible Gears of War games will be available for download from December 1 - if you already own either of the Gears of War titles on Xbox 360, you will also be able to insert the discs into your Xbox One after the November 12 backwards compatibility patch.
So what games do actually

Halo has always been the franchise that has helped Microsoft sell consoles so it's no surprise that the game always performs well. With that being said, Halo 4 didn't bring in as many sales as 343 Industries may have hoped, but it looks like they've returned Halo to it's former glory with the latest release of Halo 5: Guardians.
After just one week, Halo 5 Guardians has already made a large number of records, including day one sales, week one sales and most sales for an Xbox One exclusive title. On top of the numerous sales records for performing so well in the first week, the 343 Industries launch stream for Halo 5 received a Guinness World Record for being the most watched video game launch ever.
Microsoft has revealed some interesting first week stats for Halo 5, along with sales numbers. On top of bringing in $400 million in revenue from Halo themed consoles and the Halo 5 game itself, Halo 5 Guardians has been played for an accumulative 21 million hours thanks to the

Fallout's Pete Hines has taken to Twitter to answer a few questions from Fallout 4 fans. As a result, we've managed to learn a few things about romance options, Fallout 3 on the PlayStation 4, and more details about the wasteland.
One PlayStation 4 owner asked whether Fallout 3 was going to make it's way to the PS4. He asked this question because it was recently confirmed that Fallout 3 will soon be playable on the Xbox One. Pete Hines responded by saying that Bethesda haven't worked to put Fallout 3 on the Xbox One but instead have simply allowed Microsoft the rights to make Fallout 3 backwards compatible.
For that reason, if the PS4 were to be backwards compatible as well then players would also be able to play Fallout 3 on the PlayStation 4. As it stands right now, however, only the Xbox One can play Fallout 3 via the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Further through the week Pete Hines mentioned that players will not be able to build settlements anywhere within the

After announcing that the Xbox One wouldn't have backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games, many 360 owners had to choose to say goodbye to their Xbox 360 games collection or hold on to their outdated console just to play them.
At the time, there was absolutely no hope for backwards compatibility - it seemed like Microsoft were very sure backwards compatibility would never come to the Xbox One and it was a feature that would take a lot of resources that could be better spent on developing other experiences.
Strangely though, Microsoft recently announced at E3 that the Xbox One will be getting backwards compatibility in a future update for the console. This will mean that Xbox One owners will be able to play a variety of Xbox 360 games on the One. There's a chance that not all games will work on the Xbox One but Microsoft are working hard to ensure that as many Xbox 360 games as possible can be played on the Xbox One.
Not only will the Xbox One get backwards compatibility,

Microsoft just announced their latest controller changes. They are introducing a brand new controller design that includes paddles, remappable buttons, swappable components, and trigger locks. All of these new enhancements are scheduled for release this Fall. Microsoft is gearing its new design towards the "elite gamers" and tournament level players. The paddles and remappable buttons should impact the competitive gaming scene dramatically.
It is unknown at the time if Sony will return with their own new controller design but we speculate that they will have to answer to Microsoft's controller. Sony already has remappable buttons but will they also add the paddles and trigger stops? We will have to wait and see how they decide to answer. If they want to stay ahead they will have to keep the competitive gamer in mind.
The new Xbox One controller design has the hardcore gamer in mind and will definitely be a hit. The price hasn't been discussed yet but with all the additional

The new free games lineup for the Xbox Games with Gold June promotion has now been revealed by Microsoft and there are a number of free games Xbox Gold members will be able to pick up throughout the month.
Like previous months, players will be able to get one Xbox 360 during the first half of the month and another Xbox 360 game during the second half of the month. This month there will be two three Xbox One games, both of which can be downloaded throughout the entirety of June.
First up for the Xbox 360 lineup is Just Cause 2. Considering hype for Just Cause 3 has been blowing up recently, it seems like perfect timing to have a free access pass to Just Cause 2. Whilst the game may now be several years old, there's still dozens of hours worth of fun to be had in this game. You can download Just Cause 2 for free right now, although it will be swapped out with another game on June 15.
Starting June 16, Thief will be put up for free for Xbox 360 Gold members. Thief is much
