Activision's CEO denied competitor's game at E3.
According to some news source on the E3 floor, it seems that Bobby wanted to get his hands on his competitor's game at a behind-closed doors event at E3. Sources tell us that Kotick's assistant hopped to the front of the EA line on Wednesday morning of E3 requesting (on behalf of Kotick) for the Activision CEO to try Battlefield 3.

So after watching the video The Legend of Karl: An introduction to Elite gaming, there are multiple questions that pop to the forefront of every gamers mind. Is the Elite feature going to be so sick, that it will make regular free online gameplay obsolete? Or is it just a nice little perk for the Call of Duty players who take their craft a tad bit more serious than most of us? Will this be the dawn of a new social networking platform that will propel Call of Duty to a level equivalent of professional sports? Okay that last bit was a stretch, I know, but still, the ramifications of Elite are still yet to be ascertained.
So before everybody starts freaking out about how Call of Duty is going to become too expensive ala World of Warcraft, or that Activision has decided to sell our souls for more money, lets take a moment to examine what it is that the Elite package entails. Modern Warfare 3.
Found here on Kotaku, it seems that Modern Warfare 3 will be the concluding part of the Modern Warfare series of the Call of Duty franchise. As the game will continue on Modern Warfare 2's story and will lay to rest the conflict that is going on in the world of Call of Duty. There is also details of what we are to expect from defending New York City from an invading Russian force to stopping terrorist attacks in London to other parts of the world in chaos. The most anticipated game of the year; Modern Warfare 3 is the sequel to the MW2, widely considered to be the best first person shooting game of this generation. In a sense, the first time I picked up a Ps3 controller last year to play MW2 (I know I am still new to the COD series), I originally hated the game. I found it so hard to adjust from Counter Strike and Halo games where your enemies were so easily visible and the guns were so straightforward. The beauty of the love for Call of Duty though, is that it grows on you. After many months later, I currently dominate and thats being humble.
However, Black Ops is a much slower paced game than its predecessor MW2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 looks to combine the best of both worlds. The faced paced gameplay of MW2 with the all the glorious customization that we have grown to love from Black Ops. Modern Warfare 3 promotional news sends chilling forecast of game's setting.
There is some creative yet chilling marketing by Activision on promoting Modern Warfare 3(can be seen here). When you preorder the game at Gamestop you receive a two sided poster where one side is the game's logo and the other is a mock up TIME magazine front cover depicting New York at the time of Modern Warfare 3.

So with talk of Modern Warfare 3 on the way and talks that it will be previewed at E3 this year, we here at Evil began thinking about how our controllers will help everyone's experience, as our controllers in the past have enhanced everyone's experience in all games in the Call of Duty series.
