New Mass Effect Game

There has been a lot of talk about a Mass Effect game past Mass Effect 3, and although it has recently been confirmed, what the game will consist of is currently unknown. According to what we know so far, the next game will take place in the Mass Effect universe, however the game won't be similar to the previous trilogy in any way.

That means no Shepard, possibly no Reapers, and most likely no squad based third person combat. Chris Priestly, community coordinate for Bioware says that calling the next game Mass Effect 4 would be a disservice to the previous trilogy, and that Commander Shepard's story is definitely over.

Borderlands 2 Level Raise 100% Definite

Randy Pitchford, current president of the devs behind Borderlands 2 has taken to twitter to discuss a new interview with VentureBeat after fans worried the CEO about a huge amount of angry talk within the official Borderlands 2 forums.

When VentureBeat didn't mention once about a Borderlands 2 level cap increase after discussing new and upcoming content with Randy on the interview, players were quick to jump to the conclusion that the game would not include a level cap raise at all.

Metal Gear Limited Edition

There has been a lot of hype leading up to the next Metal Gear Solid game, and although we know the new game will make it on to retail later this month, we haven't really had much information on the available editions of the game.

However, things have changed, as Gamestop have uploaded the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance limited edition up for preorder on their website, and MetalgearsolidTV has uploaded a bunch of stunning images to go along with it.

The limited edition includes a beautiful artbook from Kojima himself, including 24 pages of amazing artwork from the game.

Dead Space Exploit

The game has barely been out, yet players have already found an exploit to get themselves unlimited resources without having to pay a dime for micro-transactions, and strangely enough, according to EA, this exploit was added 'on purpose.'

Near the end of chapter 8, players can visit a shack with a power generator. From here players can pick up a randomly spawned item. But if players leave the shack after picking up the spawned item, players can go straight back there and pick up a brand new randomly spawned item within seconds of picking up the last one.

This 'bug,' or exploit, allows players to gather all the resources they need, completely destroying the 'need'

$1 million Black Ops Tournament

eSports has started to boom in the last few years of gaming, and this year Call Of Duty Elite and Xbox are teaming up to bring one of the first COD $1 million cash prize tournaments. The tournament will consist of 32 teams from all over the globe and will take place in Hollywood, California from the April 5-April 7. Those interested in the tournament can register on the official Call of Duty Elite website, and take place in the qualifying contest.

Teams announced to be competing in the MLG 2013 Pro Circuit this March will have a chance to enter the Xbox COD tournament, and the top 8 teams will be abled entry into the contest. Eight

GTA V Next-Gen Release

According to Cowen and Company analyst, Doug Creutz, Grand Theft Auto may make it to next-gen consoles in some form or another. He thinks that GTA 5's delayed September release, along with next gen-console releases expected this year, the game and it's future DLC will be pushed into the next-gen console cycle.

"In and of itself, the delay of the game from FQ1 to FQ2 would not normally mean any significant change to expected FY14 financial results."

Dead Space 2 Bonus

Mass Effect was the first game to offer an incentive to playing the previous games, and playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 would reflect how characters act towards you in the following games. Dead Space isn't offering an incentive as amazing as this, however players of Dead Space 2 will receive an extra gift for having a saved file of the 2^nd game on their hard drive.

If you are one to have a Dead Space 2 saved file, you will receive the Planet Cracker Plasma Cutter in the third game. The Plasma Cutter has slightly better stats than the standard starting one and has all 8 circuits unlocked right from the beginning of the game, giving players a slight advantage

Trailer Capture the Flag

Yesterday we wrote about the latest expansion from Battlefield 3, recently EA came out with a brand new trailer showing off the new game mode Capture the Flag.

The new video shows the Americans capturing the Russian flag and the ensuing epic chase of trying to get the flag back to base. It also shows off how dynamic the new dirtbike will be in this classic game mode, the whole video seems like it was pulled right off of a 1990's action movie.

Along with Capture the Flag being shown off, we were able to get a sneak peak of the new mode Air Superiority. The last scene of the video shows off the cockpit of a jet with multiple jets circling near him.

Dead Space DLC

Visceral games are one of my favorite development teams because they consistently bring out new and original concepts for games, and the Dead Space 3 trilogy has been an extremely exciting experience to play through. I am looking forward to playing through Dead Space 3, however there's one element of the game that has almost tainted the experience.

Publishers like Activision and EA seem to eat up and spew out any method they seem fit to bring in more cash to their titles, and at times it almost ruins a games atmosphere.

New Battlefield Expansion

End Game, the latest and last expansion from Battlefield 3 will bring all new vehicles, new assignments and Air Superiority mode.

The expansion will also bring back capture the flag and the new vehicles will include a motorcycle, anti-air vehicle and a dropship. The motorcycle will be able to have two people ride on it with the passenger firing his weapon while the dropship will be able to transport vehicles onto the battlefield.

Air superiority mode will feature teams facing off in dogfights while trying to capture specific points in the air. The team pulled the mode off of Battlefield 1943.

End Game will release in March with Battlefield Premium users able to play it two weeks before it is released to the public.
