After all of the talk and arguing about whether the two next gen consoles, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, will have 1080P support for next gen titles, it's personally left me a bit frustrated with the way 'fanboys' seem to enjoy trash talking their fellow gamers.
This probably leaves Microsoft, Sony and any game developers working on next gen titles wondering what they can do to please the angry crowd of gamers that are slowly piling up outside their front door, and in Infinity Ward's case, it looks like a 1080P compatibility patch for Call of Duty Ghosts on the PlayStation 4.
Straight out of the box, Call of Duty Ghosts will play at 1080P natively in multiplayer mode, but the single player is stuck at 720P. The new patch that's been available for download since day one fixes this and allows players to play single player in 1080P resolution.

Despite Beyond: Two Souls lacking much actual gameplay, it is a fun game that has been tied into a deeply immersive story. It's an interesting way to create an interactive experience, but from day one, the developers' goals for the game were always clear.
Ryse: Son of Rome on the other hand looks like an enjoyable, brutal game that could take us and our controller as close to living inside of 300 or Gladiator as possible.
Unfortunately though, if recent reviews are anything to go by, Ryse: Son of Rome’s actual gameplay might be just a little underwhelming.
Crytek have been pretty well known for making amazing visual experiences, but under delivering on the actual gameplay

It has been rumored by many that Respawn Entertainment's next gen first person shooter, Titanfall, would be making its way to PlayStation 4 after the Xbox One and other Microsoft platforms' timed exclusivity ran out, despite Microsoft officials not mentioning a timed exclusivity for the title.
However, it's been revealed this week that Titanfall will not be making its way to PlayStation 4, or any non-Microsoft console at all.
The rumors started when Microsoft's Major Nelson started an 'ask me anything' session on Reddit and attempted to avoid a question on the details of the Xbox One exclusivity rights for Titanfall.
Major Nelson's answer to the Reddit AMA question was "As far as being an exclusive that's really a question for Titanfall. I’m not worried about it though." This made many immediately assume that Major Nelson

It has been revealed that Ubisoft will be developing extra DLC content for two of their most anticipated games and that the content will be a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
Both Watch Dogs and Assassins' Creed IV: Black Flag will have DLC released on the PlayStation 4 before the Xbox One, forcing users to either purchase a PlayStation 4 to get the content early or wait it out for longer to receive the same content on the Xbox One.
Despite Sony not having made an official statement on this matter, a new Sony video showcasing both Assassins' Creed and Watch Dogs has suggested that the timed exclusive DLC content will be available on the PlayStation 4 six months before the Xbox One.
This information was found within the small print of the video, but even with the internet now aware

Despite previous gameplay trailers and footage of Ryse: Son of Rome focusing on the brutal combat found within the game, there is a story within the world of Ryse, and a newly released gameplay trailer gives an insight into the storyline of Ryse: Son of Rome.
Although Crytek, the development team behind Ryse: Son of Rome, are best known for their beautiful video games graphics, Ryse manages to capture our imagination through both great visuals and good gameplay, and hopefully a good story too.
Rome: Son of Ryse's story mode would be better described as a cinematic action title- it has cut scenes relating to the story within the game, a fairly easy control system that is easy to get to grips with, and if one wants it, a very minimal user interface on top of it all.
The story focuses around the Roman solider, Marius Titus. After a return back home, he finds his family has been brutally murdered, and then sets off to find the most loyal soldiers to fight with him along

A new Xbox One software feature has been revealed by an Xbox rep at the EB Expo in Australia, and it adds a little extra personal touch to the Achievements system.
Often while playing on the Xbox 360, unlocking achievements can go unnoticed, and some games don't explain very clearly how achievements are unlocked, but this new software system will give gamers an insight into how they unlocked their achievements and got up their Gamerscore.
According to the Xbox rep, "The DVR will automatically record any Achievements that take place so whenever you unlock a Gamerscore it will automatically record how you did that so you can check it out later."
Obviously this isn't going to be a selling point for the Xbox One, but it's nice to have a few extra features here and there to add more personalization and attachment to your own gamer profile.
This isn't the first feature that

One of the true wonders of the next generation is the inclusion of games with absolutely no loading screens at all. The current generation of consoles suffered from long waiting times and boring pauses in game whilst we waited for new content to be loaded on-screen.
Dead Rising 3 will be one of the first games to truly show the awesomeness of having no loading times by having a huge open world zombie game, filled with various of items, vehicles and interactive scenery, and hundreds of zombies along with it.
No matter where you go in the world there will be absolutely no pauses in-game for loading screens, and you'll have a hard time looking for any freezes whilst the game tries to load new things such as when you enter a building filled with zombies.
Another thing that is cool is that the Dead Rising 3 art developers have worked hard to ensure you'll "never see the same building twice." Every texture in the game has been hand crafted, and there is no reuse of assets
