Now that DICE has been hired to work on Battlefront, a lot of Battlefield fans have understandably been concerned about the future of the Battlefield series. Fortunately there's a lot of good news as far as new Battlefield development goes. On a new Twitter post, DICE's development director Dan Vaderlind revealed that he has now left the Battlefront team to focus on their next game, which will be a Battlefield title.
Whilst there will still be a team at DICE dedicated to Battlefront, the main focus at DICE will now be towards developing the next Battlefield game. Considering that Battlefield 4 launched with a number of issues and DICE asked Visceral Games to help with Hardline, there's definitely a lot of anticipation on how DICE will deliver the next Battlefield title. No launch date has been set for Battlefield 5, (Or whatever else it may be called.) and we currently have no promotional material out of DICE's offices yet, but it's suggested that the game will be launched in 2016.

Earlier this year Techland created a spoof advertising poster for a glass of water, in retaliation to Destiny's Red Bull campaign that featured a similar poster. Since then, the fun poking has quieted down at Techland but it looks like the Dying Light developers had a little bit more up their sleeve this whole time.
Techland are gearing up to release a three part DLC campaign that fortunately will be available to Dying Light players free of charge. All of the DLC parts will be based around water in some way or another. The first DLC part is called the Fountain of Youth and features a quest in Old Town. The second DLC part is Water 2.0, which is a blueprint for a throwable weapon that can increase the output of electric attacks. The final DLC part includes a number of water themed parkour challenges.
The DLC content that has just been announced will be available by February 9, which is the same date that Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition releases. Players who purchase

A brand new free DLC pack has been added to Halo 5: Guardians and it adds a range of new features. The DLC pack has been named "Cartographer's Gift" and it features a large number of new features and cosmetic items.
The most important addition to the new DLC for Halo 5 is Forge. Forge wasn't added at launch like it was in previous Halo titles. The wait was worth it though because Forge in Halo 5 is the most complex version we've seen of the map builder yet. Players are given a huge range of new tools in the new Forge.
On top of Forge, the Cartographer's Gift DLC has added a large range of new Spartan armor pieces, including two new armor sets, the iconic MARK IV armor set and the Raijin armor set. New emblems, new helmets and a variety of new Warzone REQ rewards have also been added into the latest DLC for December.
The December DLC is just the start of it as well. A brand new free DLC pack will also be released in January and a sneak peak at that has revealed that

To help encourage Halo 5 players to play regularly, 343 Industries has added a new feature that rewards daily playtime in Arena and Warzone.
Starting immediately, players are now able to earn two extra REQ packs every single day so long as they follow a couple of criteria. The first REQ pack can be earned by winning an Arena match, whilst the second REQ pack will be awarded to players for their first Warzone win of the day. If you expect to play Halo 5 daily and manage to have a winning game of both Warzone and Arena, you're essentially able to collect up to 14 free REQ packs each week.
A daily login bonus isn't a new concept - in fact, we've seen countless games offer similar features. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain offers daily login bonuses to players for example, although for this reward players only have to boot up the game. Forcing players to win games in both Arena and Warzone to earn their daily rewards is great because it encourages players to play well, at

A brand new season pass has been announced for Mortal Kombat X and it will be available throughout 2016. The new season pass has been dubbed the Kombat Pack 2, and as the name suggests, it will add new characters to the current character roster, just like the previous Kombat Pack DLC.
Just like the previous Kombat Pack DLC, there will be two characters from previous Mortal Kombat games and two characters from outside of the Mortal Kombat universe. The first announced character will be the Xenomorph from Aliens. We've already got the Predator so I can't wait to see these two battling it out in Mortal Kombat X next year. The second guest character in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC will be Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and yes, he does have a chainsaw.
The first of the returning Mortal Kombat characters will be Bo Rai Cho who uses a fairly plain and simple drunken fist master fighting style. The final character is a little more interesting. The new character isn't returning,

During the first year of Destiny's release, Bungie focused on releasing DLC expansions for the title. The first two expansions were much smaller in comparison to The Taken King, but all of the three expansions undoubtedly added quite a lot of new content to Destiny.
Bungie has revealed that their new plans going forward for Destiny will be to release smaller events instead of gargantuan expansions. Bungie's senior designer, Derek Carroll spoke to Eurogamer about their future plans for Destiny.
"With Taken King, we are moving to a more event-based model--things like Festival of the Lost and Sparrow racing, which is our winter event, and then smaller events such as Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris every weekend," Carroll mentioned.
It seems that Destiny's new business model will focus on increasing player engagement and bringing in revenue through their microtransaction currency. The various timed events will certainly keep things fresh and interesting.

A brand new update for the new Need for Speed reboot has been released onto live servers. The new update has been dubbed 'Legends' and it's available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The new update includes a wide variety of free content such as new cars, new music and new collectibles. The REP level has also been increased - players can now reach 70 REP instead of the previous 60 REP. Reaching each of the 10 REP levels after 60 REP will reward players with a new decal.
On top of the new decals, a number of new cars have been added as part of the Legends update and three new achievements/trophies have been added. Below the achievement names and criteria have been listed. The Xbox One achievements are the same as the PS4 trophies.
Zero to hero - Win a race while driving Eddie's car
Eddie is back - Win Eddie's progression
Hit the ceiling - Get to REP level 70
As you can guess from the achievement criteria above, Eddie has been added as a new Legend.

The next DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online has been announced by Rockstar and it will make it's way to the PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC next week. The new DLC has been named Executives and Other Criminals and in this update players are given the ability to create their own criminal organization.
Although Executives and Other Criminals includes extra modes for player-made criminal organizations, these organizations basically act like a new form of team size clans. Players can create their organizations and then go face to face with other organizations via the new co-op jobs and challenges. Some of the pre-existing Freemode Events will now be altered slightly when a criminal organization takes part in it together. Modes like King of the Castle and Moving Target will change slightly. A new mode named Extraction Adversary has also been added. In this mode, teams of bodyguards must search and locate an executive before a hit squad gets to him first.

A brand new PVP mode has been added to Destiny The Taken King but this new game mode differs significantly to other PVP modes. The new game mode has been dubbed the Sparrow Racing League and as the name suggests, it features fast paced Sparrow racing as opposed to FPS style arena combat.
The new Sparrow racing mode will be available in Destiny for three weeks. During this time players will be able to unlock special new content, including rare Sparrow variants.
On top of adding the new Sparrow Racing League mode, a few other changes have been made in the latest patch for Destiny The Taken King. It should be noted that Sparrow Racing League is only available for those with the Taken King DLC.
Like many patches before it, this latest update for Destiny makes a lot of balancing changes across the board. Some changes include adjustments to class abilities whilst other tweaks are specific to weapon balancing. Interestingly, the Titan melee range has been increased for all
