At IFA this year, Sony revealed their brand new Xperia Z3, a newly upgraded Android smartphone with new hardware and software features. One of the most interesting additions to the Xperia Z3, and especially for us here at Evil Controllers, was the inclusion of remote play for the Xperia Z3.
Remote play is already a feature that has been made available on the PS Vita, but since the Xperia Play which released a few years ago, we've not seen any PlayStation-Xperia crossovers since.
The remote play feature will allow players to play PlayStation 4 games from their Xperia Z3, and through Bluetooth pairing, they will also be able to connect up their DualShock 4 controller to their Xperia smartphone too.
Whilst remote play will allow players to play any game on their Xperia Z3, a new trailer focuses on DriveClub, and the remote play can be seen in action within the trailer. The new remote play features will also be made available for the Xperia Z3 tablet, and the Xperia Z3

The next title within the series of great games released by From Software has now received a confirmed release date, and a lot of fans are getting quite excited.
In a PlayStation TGS press conference, From Software revealed that the successor to Demon's Souls will be released on February 5, 2015 in Japan. Along with a physical copy of the game, the first initial production will include an art book and soundtrack CD for each unit.
Whilst Bloodborne isn't a sequel to either Dark Souls or Demon Souls, the gameplay feels similar to the aforementioned titles, and could easily be within the same universe From Software have developed with both Demon Souls and Dark Souls.
Despite sounding just as cruel as both other games, Bloodborne won't be nearly as punishing, and dying will be as much of a worry as it has been in Dark Souls 2. There will certainly be areas players will find challenging, but the amount of perseverance needed to complete Bloodborne will be a lot less than

With news from Microsoft about the whole used games fiasco, there's no doubt that we're all a little worried that Sony will take a similar route with the PlayStation 4. Many gamers and PlayStation fans took to twitter to hash tag the phrase #PS4NoDRM, which stands for PlayStation 4 no Digital Rights Management.
As you can guess, many gamers do not want Sony to make any more restrictions on the way we play games, especially when it comes to selling, buying and trading used video games.
So far we haven't got a straight-up answer from Sony about the issue, but instead, we have the president of Sony, Shuhei Yoshida, trolling everybody involved.
How did he do this? With this tweet-

Minecraft managed to land a huge amount of sales on the Xbox platform, but since then, talk of moving the popular game to PlayStation has been pretty quiet. However, Sony has very recently sent Notch, the main developer of Minecraft, a golden PSOne as 'special VIP pass' to E3. On top of this, Notch also got sent a copy of Dungeon Master 2 to play on the console.
Could this mean anything past the fact that Sony want Notch to come and view them reveal more information about the PlayStation 4? - Probably very likely. But what could the reason be for Notch's VIP pass? The first thing that comes to mind is that Minecraft will be revealed for the PlayStation, but whether that's for PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 is currently unknown.
It would make sense that Minecraft was put out for both platforms as it would allow players to play Minecraft whether they are on the new console or the old one.
Another possibility is that Notch may be teaming up with Sony

Gaming Controllers, Which Console Design is #1?
No doubt over the years we have seen companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo as the frontrunners in gaming, change their controllers or make new ones to help feed this era of technology driven individuals. After stumbling upon an article about which controller is the best, it came down to the Xbox 360 controller and the PS3 controller.
Over many years of trying to remodel their controllers, I do sincerely agree that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 controllers are the best that the market has to offer as of late. Which one is better, is

Sony: Firmware Updates Will Not Be Troublesome in the Future
Currently, Sony's biggest problem is the way their consoles like the PSP updates their firmware. They're always often and they slow down or tie up the system which in result means that pick-up-and-play gaming sessions are halted by an essential firmware update.
This has been a problem Sony is looking to fix with the PlayStation Vita. Found here on Kotaku,Shuhei Yoshida (Head of Sony Computer Entertainment
