So before we get started on the news, it should be noted that recently Team eLevate dropped their Halo team, which previously consisted of Goofy, Nemasisst, Str8 Sick and MuNoZ. After dropping their roster, eLevate still seemed interested in the Halo scene and now it looks as if they have picked up the ex-Noble eSports squad.
The Noble eSports team previously included Rayne, Swift Kill, Penguin and Calm and now this squad of four will be under eLevate's name and logo. Whilst Nobile eSports failed to make it into the regional qualifiers, this roster change means that they will now be able to play in the Halo World Championship. Unfortunately Goofy, Nemasisst, Str8 Sick and MuNoZ will not be able to take part in the HWC despite managing to make their way through the qualifiers before being stripped from the eLevate organization.
We think that this turn of results has been a little weird and as a result, eLevate's offering in the HWC might not be quite as impressive as it would

A brand new update for Star Wars Battlefront has hit servers and it features a bunch of new content for March. The new update is already available for all platforms - this includes PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
It should be noted that all of the content in the new March update for Star Wars Battlefront is entirely free of charge for all players across all three platforms. The new update adds a new survival mission on Tatooine called Rebel Depot, as well as Survivors of Ender to Assault, Supremacy, Walker Assault and Turning Point.
The update adds Rebel Depot on Tatooine as a new Survival Mission, and brings Survivors of Endor to the Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point modes.
After this free content update, more content for Star Wars Battlefront is sure to follow. However the next upcoming content will most likely be part of the paid DLC season pass. We're expecting to see Outer Rim as the first expansion for Star Wars Battlefront and this should include new

There was a lot happening last week in the eSports world. Counter Strike: Global Offensive had a tournament that saw Luminosity Gaming and Fnatic battle it out in the grand finals in an incredibly close fashion, League of Legends saw SK Telecom T1 take Fnatic out in the finals and other games were played out by some of the best teams in the world too.
One game didn't get quite as much attention as we think it should have done, though. Rainbow Six Siege made a splash into competitive gaming this year at Katowice and it saw eight of the current best EU teams play it out on PC. Eight of the best North American teams will soon battle it out against each other two, and the top teams from each region will then take to a final tournament with a prize pool of $100,000.
In the EU playoffs, each team played four games. In first place, PENTA eSports won with 3 wins and 1 loss. PENTA had a total of 20 round wins within their four games, whilst second place TCM-Gaming had 19 round wins

When you have a huge presence in the eSports team, spanning across multiple games, sometimes the best way to get into a huge World tournament like the upcoming Halo World Championship, is to buy out a team. This is exactly what Cloud 9 has recently done.
After reaching the final 16 in the Halo World Championship, Triggers Pound has confirmed that they have been picked up by Cloud 9. This means that in the future their name and logo will be dropped for Cloud 9's. The newly formed Cloud 9 team features the same four Triggers Pound members that made it into the Halo World Championships after beating OpTic Gaming and the Dream Team in the NA regional qualifiers.
For those unaware, the ex-Triggers Pound team consists of NA players Cloud, Hysteria, Assault and Danoxide. Cloud 9 Cloud might be a bit of a funny one to say going into the future, but either way we're happy to see that Triggers Pound is getting support from such a big organization after proving their worth at the qualifiers.

Tom Clancy's The Division has finally gone live and servers for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC are now available. The open world third person shooter RPG title is a brand new IP from Ubisoft which features a random loot system similar to Destiny. However, there are plenty of gameplay elements that make The Division unique.
If you owned the physical copy of Tom Clancy's The Division, chances are you managed to get into the servers earlier than the March 8 release date. Servers went live early, however digital copies did not activate until the aforementioned launch date.
On top of the full game, a number of microtransactions have gone live for Tom Clancy's The Division. Whilst there is no typical DLC content available yet, the microtransaction packs from Ubisoft feature a number of in-game items.
All of the microtransaction packs include cosmetic-only items and can be accessed from each console's game store - this would be the UPlay store for PC, the Xbox Games store

There are a number of bonuses available in GTA Online that will remain available throughout the rest of the week. Rockstar has been placing weekly bonuses in GTA Online for the last few weeks and this week's worth of rewards will feature bonus GTA dollars and RP.
Running from March 4 through to March 10, all versus missions will reward players with double GTA$ and double RP. All players will be rewarded with double points, regardless of whether they win their games or not. If you're interested in the versus mode bonuses, you'll be able to quick join into the mode within the pause menu in GTA Online.
On top of the double bonuses for GTA Online's versus mode, players will also be able to save some money on a variety of content. Firstly, all flight school gear has been reduced by 50%. All combat helicopters, including the buzzard, have been temporarily reduced by 25% too. This is probably the area where you'll save the most amount of money, so if you plan to buy an attack chopper,

Ever since it's release the ranking system in Rainbow Six Siege has needed some work. Finally the competitive FPS game from Ubisoft should be receiving a much needed update to how ranked works in Siege.
The new upcoming update should make it easier for the matchmaking system to find players of a similar skill level to yours. Players will be matched up with and against similar skilled players for the first time since the release of Rainbow Six Siege. In the past the ranking system attempted to match up players with a similar rank but for a long time the rank system would match up coppers and bronzes with silver, golds and sometimes even higher ranks.
Recently a patch was made to bring more balance to the ranks between each team but the upcoming update should now focus on a player's skill instead of their current ranking. The balancing will focus on attributes such as their recent performance and their number of hours in Rainbow Six Siege.
The upcoming patch for Rainbow

Gears of War Ultimate Edition will soon be getting a rather hefty 5GB patch that will be mandatory for all players. As you can imagine with a patch of this size, a lot of things will be changing and there will be a number of new improvements.
The first thing mentioned for the new patch are the number of playlist changes being made. For example, the Execution game mode will soon offer more XP for players. The Coalition made a few statements about the patch changes, including the increase in XP for Execution. "Execution is a mode that can be highly rewarding, but also extremely punishing. To better reward players who take on the challenge of Execution, we've increased the XP gain in the mode significantly."
The Boomshot will also be improved in the new patch - hit detection problems that occurred in the past should now be fixed. Some basic improvements to hit detection on downed enemies has also been improved and hit detection for players taking cover in Clocktower has also
