Amazon's German site has recently posted a listing for Mirror's Edge 2, a game that carries on from the first back in 2008, and hasn't yet been confirmed or announced by EA.
The page didn't show any information on the game and lacked a release date, as well as using placeholder box art for the product image. Back in November 2012, EA Easy general manager Ben Cousins did confirm the Mirrors Edge 2 was under development, stating on Twitter that "It is general knowledge in the Stockholm dev scene that Mirror's Edge 2 is in production at DICE."
However, there hasn't been any information on the title since.
Seeing as E3 is now just around the corner, it'd make sense that the 3D action FPS platformer may make its announcement at E3 and will be revealed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360.
More information on what the new game will include is currently unknown, and seeing as the last game was released in 2008, and in 2009 for a PC port of the game, I have a feeling DICE

Although some details are still under wraps about the Xbox One, Microsoft did share a few details about the achievement system, saying that the system has had some fundamental changes to the way it works and how players interact with their achievements.
Unlike with the Xbox 360, achievements won't be tied down to games, and whilst there are likely to be game-specific achievements, it sounds as if you'll be able to progress with achievements across multiple games.
It could be possible that some games can contribute to achievements like '1,000 total headshots' but I can imagine most of these achievements to be things like '50 total hours played' or '25 games played.'
Players will also be able to upload and share footage of their games and achievement progress, similarly to the PlayStation 4's new share feature that was revealed earlier this year.
Currently details are a bit sparse, but it's likely we'll hear more about the new dynamic achievement system soon.

Evil Controller's new Vision Backplate has been generating quite the buzz! The awesome gaming magazine Joystiq recently unveiled their hands on review of the new backplate and not only did they give the controller awesome reviews, but they also turned the feature into a giveaway!
The review from Joystiq is both in verbal and video form, and covers all the capabilities of the controller. From over 60 hrs of battery life, to the awesome addition of a charging LED light, the people at Joystiq are big fans of the only rechargeable, wireless Xbox controller.
The controller we custom made for Joystiq features a white shell, blacked out ABXY buttons, orange thumbsticks and the Evil D-pad! The controller also has a one-of-a-kind logo imprinted on both the right handle and the back of the controller (you know, where the standard bulky battery pack goes!). The video goes in depth about the different capabilities the backplate offers, including the improved performance

What better way to show off an upcoming incredible game by sticking a highlight like Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring) in the trailer?
Giancarlo is seen reading from a story whilst the scene cuts off to an animated scene including Guardians who are involved in an epic battle.
The Guardians are soldiers that have been trained to protect Earth. Bungie recently revealed that the Guardians are playable and have different classes, including a tough Titan character, a weaker Hunter, and another Warlock class. Like many MMOs, each class has their own benefits and disadvantages. Bungie has made sure to make their classes easy to understand by changing the stature of each class.
For example, the Titan is a class that has a top heavy build, and this shows that this is a tough, but slow character. In the middle, the Hunter is a class that has a fairly even build throughout, and at the bottom, the Warlock has a bottom heavy build, showing the speed and vulnerabilities the class has.

Last week, the Xbox One was announced, and with it came a lot of boos from the gaming community. But why? Surely a brand new console is a good thing for us gamers?
The truth is that, despite the console having updated hardware to play bigger and better games, many Xbox fans have felt that the Microsoft games consoles they once knew just aren't the same anymore. Microsoft has now put even more emphasis into the idea that the Xbox isn't just about gaming but it's also about media content.
The 'all-in-one' machine as Microsoft have called it, is capable of being a games console, TV box, media player and many other pieces of hardware you may find in your living room. Whilst this is good for the family, gamers feel a little cheated.
Gamers are now going to be bombarded with more media content on their dashboard, and are going to be encouraged to integrate that into their Xbox usage, thanks to various contracts that Microsoft has signed with companies

There is a huge market for pre-owned games currently. It offers a way for gamers to grab games cheaper than prices for new games, and allows retailers to generate profit from circulating old stock and older games. It keeps companies like GameStop from stopping, but as the next generation of consoles leans closer, a lot of gamers and those in the gaming industry have wondered what will become of second hand games.
Microsoft revealed a bit about how second hand games will work on the new Xbox One at their launch event, and whilst they didn't go into full detail, there are bad things about the news, and slightly good things.
According to Microsoft, the new Xbox will require users

After Gamers have shouted their concerns on the growing problem that is game DLC, the fact of the matter is that the problem has not been resolved, and in fact, it's slowly getting worse and worse.
Metro Last Light has finally made its way to release, despite problems with publishers in its early stages of development, but there is a concern about how the game has been released. The Ranger Mode, the way Last Light's developers recommend you to play the game, doesn't actually come boxed with the game at all. In fact, to get the recommended game mode, you will have to pay.
The developers for Metro Last Light have stated on Twitter that the reason behind this is that thanks to Microsoft's Policies they cannot release the DLC for free, and have had to go with the cheapest possible cost for the Ranger Mode. However, this will still cost players $5 worth of Microsoft Points, and what's really disappointing is that to 'be fair' with all gamers in general, the DLC now will also cost

It was previously announced by EA that access to the Battlefield 4 beta was available to anybody with a Battlefield 3 premium subscription. However, a few details on the Beta, and particularly how to access it, weren't specified. So EA has now given a few more details to clarify how the system works.
The Battlefield official Twitter account has given a reply to a question asked by a fan, who was worried that he did not have a key for the Battlefield 4 Beta and wouldn't be able to gain access.
The reply from Battlefield says that "You won't be receiving a code or beta access until the beta has been released! Don't worry,"
If you are a Battlefield 3 premium subscriber then you'll probably receive an email from DICE or EA closer to the Beta with more information on how to get access.
Battlefield 4 is set for release later in 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Are you excited for the new Battlefield?

Bethesda has recently announced the new Wolfenstein: The New Order, a FPS game following in the series that has been slated for a late 2013 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and next-gen consoles.
Players will play as B.J. Blazkowicz, the war hero well known to the series, who has set out to launch an "impossible counter offensive" against the Nazi powers whom have taken control of the world.
The game is set in 1960 and takes place in Europe, after the Nazis have won World War 2. Bethesda has said that players will be able to use "super weapons" and other utilities that the Nazi's used in Wolfenstein to take over the world.
A trailer was released along with the announcement and shows the innards of a huge war machine and then scrolls out to show multiple machines that look capable of stomping a stomping a tank to pieces.
The game is being developed by Machine Games and published by Bethesda, although the previous two games were developed by Gray Matter
