Source indicates that Sony will actually launch its next console before Microsoft
When Sony launched the PS3 a year after Microsoft's Xbox 360, the 360 got more attention and gained the upperhand and until later on, it took some time for the PS3 to gain its ground and be an equal competitor. However the tides could change should Sony release their next generation console earlier. Despite the fact that Sony has said in the past that they will "probably be the last to announce," a source close to Sony has stated to various sources like VG247 and GamesIndustry.Biz

Both sources also reveals several pieces of key information: Orbis will play PS3 games and it's new new hardware will be designed to block used titles from playing. Meaning that any copy of a game you get from Gamestop will no longer work in this

To celebrate it's decade of success, Video Games Live will celebrate in 2012 by heading to smaller venues and towns across the globe. Their reasoning to shy away a bit from populous places like New York and Chicago, was due to demand from their fans and their success.
"We continually receive thousands of emails a year from families and gamers who would love to experience our show, but find it hard to travel to major cities and have to deal with travel expenses, overnight stays, getting the kids out of school, etc. and we would like to try to accommodate as many people as possible to share in the experience..."

LoL Overtakes Starcraft as Korea's National Sport
It seems that for many years now, Starcraft was the major game to play in Korea. It was as popular as baseball and soccer in some sense and basically brought popularity to the term "e-sport". If you ever visit South Korea and watch the TV there, don't be surprised to see extreme commentary and replays of the game on their broadcasts.
