The most anticipated game of the year; Modern Warfare 3 is the sequel to the MW2, widely considered to be the best first person shooting game of this generation. In a sense, the first time I picked up a Ps3 controller last year to play MW2 (I know I am still new to the COD series), I originally hated the game. I found it so hard to adjust from Counter Strike and Halo games where your enemies were so easily visible and the guns were so straightforward. The beauty of the love for Call of Duty though, is that it grows on you. After many months later, I currently dominate and thats being humble.
However, Black Ops is a much slower paced game than its predecessor MW2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 looks to combine the best of both worlds. The faced paced gameplay of MW2 with the all the glorious customization that we have grown to love from Black Ops. With a revamped graphics engine and a story line that is essentially World War 3, MW3 looks breathtakingly

Got that racing fever? Cant wait a few months for Forza 4 to come out? Go shred in Dirt 3, which was released today! Choose from 50 cars and over 100 courses, this is a game that all racing game lovers should pick up. With an emphasis on sick tricks and nasty conditions that you must traverse in stunning HD quality, Dirt 3 delivers on all cylinders. The biggest 2 biggest factors that really push this game into the upper echelon of best racing games ever created however, are the sound and the interaction with the environment. The reason I list sound first is because judging from the reports I have read, and since I am not a car expert myself, all indicators point to the notion that the sounds emitted from these virtual engines is startlingly realistic. The sounds of different terrain, the crunches of packed down snow, and swoosh of gravel and mud as you slide is just a few of the endless sounds I am referring too.
If you think you can wait an extra

Well folks, its finally double points weekend again on Ps3 and for many of us, that means we will most likely be spending our last day on earth inside pwning noobs. Really with the impending rapture ahead of us this brings a whole new light to the phrase, Its not the end of the world! I really hope its not the end, I am still too young to die. However, after seeing what might have been the most absurd call of duty kill of all time last night from my friend Jon, I could at least rest easy. To describe what occurred, basically this guy was running up the stairs on Array, Jon fired 4 or 5 bullets out of his Aug and then switched to his python putting one bullet directly between this poor unsuspecting chumps eyes. It wasnt a difficult kill, it was just masterfully executed and equally humiliating to watch.
I wont be surprised if this weekend yields complete insanity, as everyone will be struggling to make up for that lost time due to the PlayStation

Due to be released June 9th, the highly anticipated sequel to Sucker Punch Productions Infamous is going to be a monster of a game. I mean the original was literally GTA but with electricity as your weapon, tons of helpless civilians to be slaughtered, and endless buildings to jump off of. An open world video game that combines elements of RPGs, shooting games, puzzles, and platforming; Infamous 2 is going to be jam packed with exciting things to do.
While it is a single player game, Infamous 2 is still a game where you can pass the controller around to your friends and admire the magnificence of the games beauty. In all honesty, I havent played many single player games that have made me absolutely hooked like the last game had since perhaps Knights of the Old Republic. Amazing graphics, brutal melee attacks, an arsenal of powers, and endless possibilities truly

Brink has been in and out of the media for quite some time. I don't think people really know what to make of it. The developers' diary reveals a game that wants to be a little bit of everything. Splash Damage refers to it as a genre bending title and I can see why. Brink has a little bit of Mirror's Edge, it has some Team Fortress 2, and it definitely has some SOCOM elements to it as well. The developers say it breaks apart the barrier between a single player game and a multiplayer one, but what does that mean exactly?
Hyperbole aside. Brink appears to be a squad based shooter with a cool and unique art style that's almost a love child between Borderlands and Team Fortress 2. I like it, I dig the way it looks, but with the new Call of Duty map pack, will we have time to get invested? Brink definitely offers more complexity then what you find in other FPSes. It's a class based shooter that can become dangerously addictive. Everything you play under

Rising Gas Prices & Rising DLC content prices.
So on the third of May, Treyarch will bereleasingthe "Escalation" map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Like the First Strike DLC pack, it will cost you around $15.00 (that's about 1200 Microsoft Points).
When the First Strike DLC content came out, a large number of people complained about it being too high of a price for a few maps and a number of those who did buy the pack complained that they didn't get their $15.00 -

Nostalgia about Chuck E. Cheese and Arcades
I remember when I was a young lad, I remembered living in my rural town of Ottawa, Illinois. At times, my family would have to make trips to the suburb towns of Chicago like Schaumburg, Oakbrook, and others. I remember my mom, my sisters, and I would head to Joliet to get our car repaired. Right next door to the dealership was a Chuck E. Cheese (previously known as Showbiz Pizza, before it's merge in the early 1990s). I'd beg my mom to take us and while sometimes my sisters disagreed, we went.
