Is Gaming before Bedtime, bad for your Health?

Texting, watching television, and playing games before bed could be the main reason why nearly 63 percent of Americans aren't getting enough sleep these days according to the latest study fromfrom the National Sleep Foundation. They suggest to combat this problem is to have a curfew of around an hour before bedtime.

Team Meat's creation will not be on Wii according to this Kotaku article, due to the fact that Super Meat Boy cannot wedge itself into the size limitations set for Nintendo's WiiWare software. This Monday of Presidents Day, Link, Zelda, Ganon(dorf) and co. turned 25, celebrating the 25^th Anniversary of February 21, 1986 when Link first held a sword. Gamestop accused of taking personal information

As seen here about Gamestop, a California woman filed the suit on Wednesday of this past week, claiming that a Alameda County GameStop store recorded her personal information such as her name, her credit card information, and her PII (personal identification information) after purchasing items with her credit card. The woman, Melissa Arechiga, believes that GameStop uses the information like addresses and various other private pieces of information to benefit sales and future aspects of their store(s).

Global Holdings, a company that works with Nintendo to get their items on the shelves of our local Wal-Mart, GameStop, ect., have produced a line of Nintendo toys that were released at the 2011 Toy Fair!!! They offer many different shades of Yoshi, a Mario figure who holds your DS, a Dark Link, with red glazed eyes, and of course they didnt forget about Daisy Donkey Kong and Kirby! Also many characters from the Mario and Zelda games are featured. Personally I would love to add the Dark Link to my collection of figurines, what would you add to yours?

Gears of War set to be released in September

Great news! As of Wednesday (February 23^rd), Gears of War 3 officially has a release date. This is great to know, especially since we were all expecting it this spring and it unfortunately got delayed.

Microsoft now announced that Epics third installment to the Gears of War series will be dropping as an Xbox 360 exclusive on September 20^th in both the US and Japan. The final chapter of the trilogy, the game is expected to bring the series to a great closure with exhilarating single and multiplayer features. The game will supposedly take place eighteen months after the events of Gears of War 2, featuring the survivors stranded on an island, living in a converted aircraft carrier.

If you watched "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters," you know Billy Mitchell, the man who has been sort of labeled as the evil villain of the retro-arcade gaming world. Well he recently opened an arcade at Orlando's airport with the name that of the movie. What's more oddly enough is that with good guy Steve Wiebe is also featured as part of the arcade's entrance as seen here but I think the way Billy made the picture was to glorify himself and make Steve look a bit....dull and confused.
