343 Sends Specialization Codes

Just like they promised, 343 Industries has sent out codes that unlock all specializations in-game to players that played Halo 4 on or before November 20^th. The codes were sent out via email and sent to the emails associated with each player's gamertag.

Once unlocked, the specializations still require you to reach Spartan Rank 50 before you can use them though, and if you didn't play before November 20^th, or you are situated in Europe, the Middle East or Africa and didn't preorder, you won't have access to the extra specializations.

New Details about Destiny

Since Bungie's departure from Halo back in 2010, news of what they have been working on since has been hushed up very professionally. However, an informative advertising agency has revealed a fair amount of details on their upcoming project after Bungie's permission was given to allow them to spill the beans.

Although it's not certain, it's more than likely that Bungie's new game will be named Destiny after all, and will be on retail at some point in 2014. A new document containing information and concept art has confirmed this, as well as giving us all an insight into what the game will consist of.

Call of Duty Reigns Supreme

Halo 4 may have been released one week before Black Ops 2 but it remained in second place this Black Friday week in the amount of players online according to Major Nelson.

In that same top five bracket was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in fourth place trailing behind Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

The original Call of Duty: Black Ops sits at sixth place while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 reigns at ninth place.

For most of you, max Prestige isn't something you will be reaching for a good few months, but for one gamer, he has set a goal to be the first to reach prestige in Black Ops 2. Ernest Le became the first player in the world to max prestige in Modern Warfare 3, and he's back at it again with Black Ops 2.

Ernest, who's teamed up with GoldGlove, TmarTn and Jericho, will be playing and live streaming Black Ops 2 twenty four hours a day. The stream can be found at Twitch.tv and has so far received over 5 million unique viewers.

For most, achieving a goal like this would have to take more than just a passion for playing video games, but a huge amount of dedication and trying to reach max prestige before anyone else will be difficult. After the delay due to Hurricane Sandy, Rockstar has finally released the second trailer for GTA 5. The new trailer depicts the world of GTA 5, and flashes between the three characters that you will play as in the game. Straight away, it's easy to note how far Rockstar have worked on the story of the game, and I think the characters are going to feel more lifelike and humorous than ever before. On top of the realism within the three main characters storylines, the graphics are top-notch too, and although the trailer mainly showed cut scenes within the game, the graphics in GTA 5 will probably be a big improvement from Grand Theft Auto 4.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will take players back to San Andreas, where the story progresses between the three separate characters' lives as they weave in and out of each others stories, creating a huge, well-constructed single player experience. Bungie were very nice to the Halo Reach community, and were always fine tuning the matchmaking playlists to make players' gameplay experiences ever more improved. Bungie went as far as to change some of the weapon mechanics, which is a huge deal when applying this to an Xbox 360 game that had been out for over a year. 343 Industries hasn't mentioned any such game-changing plans, but they are adding and rotating the War Games playlists each week. Last week 343 added SWAT to the mix, which for many was a great relief, and it's quickly become one of the most played playlists on War Games matchmaking.

Next week 343 will be adding Team Snipers, which will be playable on Longbow, Complex, Solace, Ragnarok, Vortex, Exile and Meltdown. Similarly to SWAT, players will be able to choose between predefined load outs, although so far secondary weapons have not been included.

If you haven't played the third installment of the Saints Row series yet, or you didn't want to buy the extra downloadable content the first time round, this may be a great time for you.

The Full Package pretty much contains what it says on the tin. Black Ops 2 Miss Print?

For most, purchasing Black Ops 2 has been a smooth process, and gamers have gotten straight into Treyarch's new Call of Duty within minutes, but for some, their copy of Black Ops 2 didn't offer what was expected.

BioWare has estimated that around 1,000 people have fallen victim to a failed factory line and have received a copy of Mass Effect 2 instead of the second Black Ops 2 disc. A video released online shows a player putting in what looks to be the second disc of Black Ops 2 to only be greeted with a Mass Effect 2 logo on his PC.

New Dead Island: Riptide Info

Although most information about the sequel to the successful open-world zombie game, Dead Island, has been hushed up, Deep Silver has started to give us a little more to get excited about for Dead Island: Riptide.

As well as the four heroes from the first game, Riptide will welcome a new playable character who goes by the name of John Morgan. John has become a master in hand-to-hand combat through self-training, and although he planned for a great career in the US Navy, he ended up as a military ship cook instead, so his cooking is pretty damn good as well.
