NBA DLC Available to all
Many players took the initiative before 2K13 was released and pre-ordered the game to receive the All Star Add On Presented By Sprite DLC for free. However, it seems that 2K Sports are now starting to offer this pre-order download content to each and every player for the price of a regular Downloadable Content title pack.
The All Star Add On Presented By Sprite DLC has now been released to all players on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for 400 Microsoft Points or $5 on the PlayStation Network. Obviously for those that didn't manage to pre-order, you now have the chance to grab yourself the pack at a cost.
The All Star Add On DLC adds four unique

Dead Island Special Edition
Despite the small development team, Deepsilver have managed to release the second Dead Island, Rip Tide, in a reasonably short amount of time since their first game. And although it's not a blockbuster title, it's still got its roots set firmly into a great concept, and I'm very excited for the games release on April 23rd.
If you haven't pre-ordered yet, there are now three options to go for; the standard edition, the previous limited edition steelbook, or the newly announced Rigor Mortis edition.
For a suggested price of $79.99, Americans can get their hands on the Rigor Mortis edition on a first come first

New IP from Dead Space Devs
The gaming world has known for quite some while that Visceral Games, developers of the Dead Space series, has had a new IP up its sleeve ready to play at any time, and although previously all we knew about the game was that it was 'a thrilling online action shooter heavily backed by EA leadership,' we now have a little more potential information about the game thanks to a career listing from Visceral.
"We are seeking an experienced Multiplayer Level Designer with shooter expertise at the Visceral Redwood Shores Studio. This is a major opportunity to contribute creatively to an exciting new IP."
Obviously this could mean anything but an FPS,

New Doom
It happened before with the current generation: a classic arcade shooter was remade and redefined for the Xbox, and it could happen again. Doom 3 didn't gain as much success as expected though, particularly for the reason that the arcade shooter style of the game has now become a rather 'niche' genre. However, that hasn't stopped many getting excited for what could possibly turn out to be the next in the series.
There's two causes for the rumors to spread about Doom 4, one of which was located on Lead Programmer of ID Software, Brian Hill's LinkedIn profile stated that he was 'the lead behind Doom 4,' giving fans a huge hint that the fourth installment is coming, however it was unknown for what platform, and when.
Recently, Brian Hill took to his Twitter to send out a tweet that Doom fans had also picked apart as something regarding development for the fourth Doom game.
"Currently home taking care of a new baby girl. When I get back, I'll

Final Skyrim DLC?
Rumors have started to spread, and they're related to yet another DLC title release for Skyrim, a game that has now been over-packed with extra content and features. Recent activity from Zenimax, Bethesda's mother company, hints at some kind of Redguard related release.
For two years now, Zenimax has been renewing a trademark for the word 'Redguard' with the description of a "downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices" so although it's not certain that a Redguard DLC will hit in the future, a lot of Skyrim fans believe this to be the case, and following on from Bethesda's December 2012 statement, which said they had 'more stuff' on the way for all players in 2013, it seems to make a lot of sense.
Other possibilities could be that the Redguard related content could be for a new game ready for next-gen consoles, or even something tied to Elder Scrolls Online, an upcoming MMO developed by Zenimax software.

MMO Shooter
MMOs are slowly inching their way towards the console market, and although games such as Dust 514 are far from traditional MMOs like World of Warcraft, it shows that the social aspects and chilled competitive nature behind the genre appeal to a large audience.
Like Dust 514, Defiance is a FPS shooter with RPG elements thrown into a huge world where players can play with and against each other.
Players can sign up to the first Beta event over at the developers' website, although positions are limited so it's more than possible that many players will miss out this time round.
Also, the first Beta event is only available to PC players, however the game is making its way to PS3 and Xbox 360 as well, but

Halo 4 MLG
If you're into the competitive side of First person shooters, whether for the social aspect, or for more serious reasons, you'll be happy to know that 343 have finally released the official Halo 4 MLG settings.
The settings are only V1 though, so all is subject to change, and change is definitely expected, especially when Halo: Reach had 8 different versions until it was defined perfectly, and Halo 4 has brought all new physics and gameplay mechanics back into the Halo Universe, so this time round it may take even more tweaking than before.
However, the base settings for V1 include a set structure, and it'll be interesting to see how the community adapts to it. The primary weapon on V1 is surprisingly the BR, taking the DMR completely out of the picture for now. There have been a lot of discussion over which weapon is best, and although there really isn't any clear picture, choosing the BR is a nice initiative and hopefully it'll stick.

Dead Space 3
It's not long till Dead Space 3 will be available at retail stores across the globe, however details on the game are still quite sparse. Thanks to a few sources we have got a few extra bits of info that give us insight into what the game will include.
The Entertainment Software Board (ESRB) has rated the game as 'M for Mature' and while this is not one bit surprising, the overall summary that ESRB has given, gives us a little idea on what will be included in the game, including combat scenes and dialogues.
The following summary puts in detail the reason for Dead Space 3's mature rating, which has been given for blood, gore, intense violence and strong language.
"Rating summary: This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer battling a mysterious alien threat. Players use futuristic weapons (e.g., guns that fire explosives, spikes, incendiary shots) to kill various alien creatures and

Dead or Alive DLC
Since Dead or Alive 5's release, there have been constant DLC pack releases for the title. Unfortunately for some, most of these packs consist of nothing other than extra costumes for the characters within the game. If you do like being able to have more choice available in your virtual DoA wardrobe, then the new Santa pack 2 may appeal to you.
The new Santa pack actually comes in three different collections so that you can choose the characters you'd want most to wear the outfit, and not have to worry about spending the whole cost to get the costume available for all characters.
The new costume seems pretty generic for all characters, and whilst the male version varies slightly from the female version, both costumes remain the same regardless of the character wearing it.
The Christmas packs are a little confusing, so if you want to find a pack for a specific character, or find the best value to get hold of all costumes, here's

Street Fighter Update
Street Fighter X Tekken's community manager has taken to twitter to hype up the upcoming v2013 patch, giving details on content we may not have expected.
Community manager David Hinds has said that the new changes from the patch could make SFxT feel like a completely new game.
Although not many details have been given on what to expect from the v2013 patch, Hinds has given a bit of information on what sounds like a huge change in the combat mechanics of SFxT
"It's not just a rebalance, the mind games and pace of the game feels a lot different. Not only are the characters capable of new things, but also the players, enabling new strategies and faster paced matches."
Hinds seems to be directly quoting the combat system above, so although Street Fighter X Tekken may not look like a new game after x2013, it's as if Capcom wanted to make it feel like a new game, and most new in-game features will probably reflect this.
