Skyrim 1.9 Patch
The Skyrim 1.9 patch has been out for a while on the PC platform, however its port to the consoles has so far been a little behind track. However, Bethesda has finally confirmed on Friday that the title update 1.9 for The Elder Scrolls Skyrim is set for release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Monday, April the 8th.
Currently according to the Skyrim developer, the Elder Scrolls patch is undergoing the certification process for console release, and it won't be long before the update has passed the test and Bethesda have confirmed that the release is scheduled for later this week.
The 1.9 patch update, which has already been released on

New Batman Arkham Game
The two previous Batman games for the current generation of consoles, Arkham City and Arkham Asylum, have seen great success thanks to the great gameplay and story that fit perfectly into the Batman universe.
A lot of fans may have been led into the games by the recent Batman films, but regardless, the games have been produced at top standards with beautiful scenes and story elements involved.
Looking forward to a new Batman game on the next gen will be exciting for many reasons, and although the gameplay itself is sure to be very enjoyable, it'll be great to see what a new Batman game could make of the next generation hardware.
It isn't confirmed

New Borderlands Edition
Usually you don't see re-releases for video game titles until a good 10 or so years after a games release, often in celebration for an anniversary of other accomplishment the video game may have achieved the developer, but it seems Gearbox doesn't want to wait years before their Borderlands series becomes a classic and instead they've wanted to release a new purchasable special edition that includes a whole load of features to make a Borderlands fan happy.
At PAX East, Gearbox announced the Borderlands 2 Swag-filled Limited Edition Diamond Plate Loot Chest and its release date set for June. When Borderlands 2 was first released, gamers could get their

Battlefield up for Pre-order
Many were expecting a next-gen release for Battlefield 4, so for DICE to suddenly jump into action with gameplay footage and pre-order information so early in the year, it certainly was an interesting surprise for a lot of us.
The game has recently been confirmed for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and following on from that, Amazon has uploaded a pre-order page for the fourth game in the series.
A digital dog tag bonus will be rewarded to those who pre-order from Amazon, and a similar offer will be available to those who pre-order from GameStop. However, pre-orders from GameStop will also get players a premium expansion pack for the game.

New Mode for Borderlands
When you reach the highest level in Call of Duty multiplayer, you don't think twice about prestiging, and starting back at square one can be an entertaining challenge. But when a similar option is available in an RPG game that can take up to a hundred hours of gameplay to fully complete a first playthrough, it seems like a strange option to take.
However, many hardcore Borderlands 2 players did go through a second playthrough in Gearbox's True Vault Hunter mode after reaching level 50 for the first time, and some reached all the way to level 50 once again.
Gearbox have recently announced a third tier to your playthrough which

More Assassins Creed Games Will Come
The Assassin's Creed series has been one of the most enjoyable franchises I've played for a long time, at least for the singleplayer that is. And despite the plentiful amount of titles, I've accepted that Ubisoft has managed to keep it relatively new each time round.
However, with the announcement of the new Black Flag game, you start to wonder how far is too far, and now Ubisoft has planned to drag the franchise out with even more Assassin's Creed games after Black Flag, and there's now no doubt that the AC series has turnt into one big cash cow.
Apparently, after Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, the two

Metal Gear solid V
When we saw the mysterious reveal for 'The Phantom Pain' at the VGAs, many Metal Gear fans jumped to the conclusion that the reveal was for in fact a new Metal Gear game.
News from Konami about this was unapparent until finally at GDC Kojima revealed the truth, and unsurprisingly the fans were right. In fact, Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes came together to make Metal Gear solid V, and Kojima spilt all the beans as to why he didn't just make Metal Gear Solid V more obvious earlier in an interview with Game Trailers.
"There are several reasons for this. One is that I think core fans, myself included in this, wanted to do something really interesting in the

God of War Patch
The community has spoken, and Sony has made some game changing adjustments to God of War Ascension to help players with the difficulties they've been having in the game.
Although Sony Santa Monica plan to work on fixing other problems including multiplayer balance tweaking and a few audio issues, the 1.03 patch focuses solely on the singleplayer aspects of the game.
The largest update to 1.03 changes one particular battle that a huge amount of players were having trouble with, "We received extensive feedback from the community that the "Trial of Archimedes" section (Chapter 28) near the end of the game was excessively challenging."
"In every God of War game,

Watch Dogs Pre-order
If you're going to buy a game, it's usually because you want to play the game, and if you want to play it enough, you'll pre-order it to get it on release date. Because of this, I've never really understood the appeal of pre-order bonuses, but still, it's something that has become a strangely apparent norm in today's society.
Although it's not certain, players may be receiving some pre-order bonuses if ordering the game from Ubisoft's game service, Uplay. An image revealed on a Russian website, HamsteRReality, shows us the items that will be awarded to the player for pre-ordering through Uplay.
The bonuses have been split into two sections, the singleplayer

Skyrim 1.9 Patch
Skyrim is a big game, but because of the vastness of the content within the game, it can be hard to make sure all of the game is perfect before release, and Bethesda has been working hard to fix any bugs or glitches that ruin the gameplay experience since the launch of the title back in 2011.
Although some are just fixes to improve performance, the total 79 fixes include bugs and glitches that give players advantages over the game.
One in particular is the Oghma Infinitum glitch that is possible to exploit after completing the Discerning the Transmudane quest, which got your character exploring the land to collect the blood of various different species across the world,
