When The Last Guardian was first revealed it looked as if it was going to be one of those masterpieces that you would buy a console just to play. As you can see from the following trailers it seemed epic, grand, mystifying and above all incredibly intriguing. Before even seeing anything about the game we all expected it to be along the lines of the PS2 masterpieces, Shadow of the Colossus and ICO. Check out the trailers:E3 2010: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHzHoMT5eRg
TGS 2010: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Vi3srAvl1w&feature=relmfu
Yep, you read it right, it was announced in 2010. Has it been launched yet? Far from it. Just like any of those games that gamers are dying to play, The Last Guardian's launch date kept on postponing till the point that it was believed it had been cancelled altogether.
The rumor about the cancellation

It seems like everyone has been waiting forever to witness the release of the next-gen consoles. Out of the three giants Nintendo has already revealed its next-gen console (the Wii U) which is expected to hit stores somewhere near fall of this year. Microsoft and Sony on the other hand are still very quiet. It's like an old school standoff with Sony and Microsoft keeping a very close eye one other. I bet they are also keeping a watch on Nintendo but I highly doubt either company really sees Nintendo as a threat. We all know why. Nintendo makes amazing 1st party titles but without proper 3rd party titles it is going to be really hard for Nintendo to catch-up to the other two.
I guess Nintendo knows this fact well and based on this they decided to launch Wii U ahead of the competition. But according to new rumors Nintendo might not have the luxury of a huge gap anymore. A few GameStop employees have recently come forth to reveal that that either one or

Since the moment I saw the first trailer for Dishonored I have been going on and on about how good it looks and how much I am anticipating it. But being a PS3 owner, I am sort of dreading how it will play on the PS3 as well.
It is a well-known fact that Bethesda has been horrible to PS3 owners. Why do I say so? Well let's just take Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim into consideration. On PC and Xbox 360 it is perfect. On the PS3 there is a massive glitch that you only get to find out after playing the game for a while.
On top of that, DLCs always take forever to get to the PS3 and even when they are released, it is full of bugs! You all know that the latest DLC for Skyrim, Dawnguard, took forever to release. What many don't know is that Bethesda had to work real close with Sony in order to get Dawnguard to even work properly on the PS3!
The only ray of hope I see here is that Arkane Studios is mainly responsible for development. I hope they prioritized both consoles when developing

Hey there Borderland fans! Are you guys ready to dive back into the crazy world of Borderlands once more? Either way 2K Games has revealed recently (30th of August to be exact) that they will be releasing FOUR new add-on campaigns for Borderland 2 upon the game's launch, no doubt to get us all in the mood for some mayhem.
Borderlands 2 Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvIh7cwmuDc
These additional DLC are expected to not only significantly increase the overall gameplay time (each add-on adding several hours) of Borderlands 2 but will also incorporate new missions, environments, enemies and allies to the game.
2K Games has also been kind enough to reveal the retail price for these add-ons. For PC and PS3 (PSN/SEN) the DLC will be available at $9.99 per add-on. As for Xbox 360, the DLC will be available on Xbox LIVE for 800 Microsoft Points per add-on.
But if you are planning

EA has made their marketing strategy clear. They want to beat the reigning champ, Call of Duty, or at least take a chunk out of its market share. Every first person shooter wants to be CoD and who can blame them? The money CoD rakes in every year is unbelievable.
Interestingly enough, this time EA is sticking to The Danger Close team making Medal of Honor Warfighter as grounded and real as possible in hope that it would attract the gamers. They believe that gamers who are looking for the authentic feel of a modern battlefield might prefer Warfighter over Black Ops 2. They have based this assumption on the fact that Treyarch has taken a very futuristic approach with BO2 which might not be well received by gamers. Some diehard CoD fans have actually voiced out their concerns regarding this in forums and blogs all over the internet.
If true, this could very well be MoH's year. It is obvious that MoH may surpasses BO2 thanks to its amazing Frostbite 2 engine. MoH is supposed to

Black Ops 2 Multiplayer Maps
With the reveal of Block Ops 2's multiplayer at GamesCom there is just TOO MUCH info available on everything. I think Treyarch is planning on blowing away everybody with all the details surrounding the multiplayer. One post is not nearly enough to cover it all but we shall take a look at some of the more prominent info they have made available.
First thing we are going to take a look at is the Emblem Editor which is making a comeback from the first Black Ops. If you guys remember Emblem Editor allowed players to create their very own custom emblems using layers of clip-art graphics which could be modified in a million ways (color, size, angle

Halo 4 Surface Info
If you guys remember, Microsoft introduced their all new SmartGlass technology at E3 a while back. This technology basically allows you to use any portable device (smartphones or tablets) to get an additional screen, much like the new Wii U gamepad. Just like the Wii U, this added screen is essentially going to provide you with other additional gameplay options.
Well soon after E3 Microsoft announced their new line of Windows 8 tablets, Surface. The tablets themselves are impressive and keeping SmartGlass in the frame it didn't take long for people to start wondering how exactly was Microsoft going to implement this tech for both current and future console games.

Halo 4 Controller
Hey there guys. I guess you guys already read the previous article about the Halo 4 Limited Edition Console Bundle. Since then it has been pulled down from the Microsoft Store so we haven't been able to get a better look at it. But, today I bring to you the close up image of the new Halo 4 UNSC Controller:

Looks cool right? As you can see, the blue led that is supposed to be integrated instead of the green can be seen from this picture. The d-pad is also supposed to be the twist d-pad. Also notice how the controller is translucent.

PlayStation 4 Specs
With high hopes of Playstation 4 coming out within the next year (best case scenario), we decide to take a look at all info about PS4 made available since April of this year. We shall try our best to summarize all info available on the rumored PS4, codenamed Orbis.
Well first off the bat is the fact that this time around there would be an advanced piracy blocking system. We all knew they were really going to increase the security of next gen systems. Additionally the reuse of games will also be blocked. This would supposedly be achieved via a download from the Playstaion Network that would lock the Blu-Ray to a specific
