Sleeping Dogs Pre-Order Bonuses

A few pre-order bonuses for United Front Games' Sleeping Dogs have surfaced. The game is set to release on August 14^th but like any major release Square Enix has decided to throw a few extras along for the faithful few who you decide to buy it before launch. Currently there seems to be two packs which are retailer specific.

If you purchase from Amazon you will get the "Martial Arts" pack which includes:

Exclusive Bonus Mission - Shaolin Showdown
Exclusive Bonus Outfit - Shaolin Warrior Outfit which gives greater striking damage

Xbox 720 Dev Kits Leaked

There seems to be no end in sight for rumors surrounding the next-gen Xbox. Just a few days back a person calling himself DaE leaked several pictures of the "supposed" development kit for the next-gen Xbox.

The pictures first appeared on a forum for game developers where DaE attempted to sell the alleged development kit for $10,000. As expected no one actually paid any heed to this and labeled the whole event as another rumor and just another trying to create another hoax.

Downloadable content has become a huge thing over the past few years and now pretty much every game is expected to have some form of DLC within a few months of its release. Many games actually have DLC available on the day of the games' release! Over the years we have seen an increased involvement of celebrities within the gaming industry. But the best way they are involved with the industry is not via gimmicky PR stunts and endorsements but by actually contributing to the games themselves.

There are A LOT of editions coming out for Assassin's Creed 3 as Ubisoft prepares to rake in the cash. We had already gone through all the Tier 1 Collector's Editions, Special Edition and PS3 bundles but it seems there was one more that we overlooked. As you may already know, Sleeping Dogs is an open world cop drama inspired by classic Hollywood and Asian cinema action style thrillers is set to launch August 14^th. Based on recent events, Activision (the original publisher) who lost faith in the game and sold the rights to the game to Square Enix might be REALLY regretting their decision.

Halo 4 Forge Mode

Forge mode is making a proper comeback in Halo 4 with modifications that would allow players not only to make detailed maps but make them with ease. Recently 343 Industries have come out and claimed that this time the map editing in the new Forge mode will be powerful enough to allow players to create whatever they can imagine.
