Next-Gen Kinect Rumors

Hey there guys! There are new job listings popping up that indicate that Microsoft might be really amping the development for their next-gen Kinect. For example this is a section from a job listing for a software development engineer, "the team that shipped Kinect for Xbox 360" is seeking a candidate to work on "the future of Natural User Input."

The same job listing later states, "The Xbox Platform Team is gearing up towards the next generation of Natural User Interface (NUI) technologies." The job description also mentioned "rapid prototyping" and as a requirement "successful candidate must be able to come up to speed with new technologies".

Black Ops 2 Accessory: Turtle Beach Headset

Finally details surrounding the Turtle Beach Call of Duty: Black Ops II X-RAY Wireless Dolby Surround Sound Gaming Headset (that’s a mouth full!) have been revealed. Amazon recently updated the pre-order page for the wireless headset and I quote the product description:

Black Ops 2 Multiplayer

With Black Ops 2 only a few months away from release, many gamers are literally sitting on the edge of their seats to get a glimpse of the multiplayer. Treyarch has provided enough opportunities to see and experience the single player campaign of Black Ops2, which looks amazing by the way. This instalment of CoD is supposedly the biggest of all the games in the franchise.

They have already shown quite a bit of the campaign for us to get an idea of the scale they are going for. The sandboxy levels in the main game called Strike Force really got my attention. The popular Zombies mode is also making a comeback is supposed to be a stand along game

Battlefield 3 DLC: Aftermath

Finally we get to hear about the 4^th installment, "Aftermath", of the 5 DLCs that EA had planned out for Battlefield 3.

Here's a list of all BF3 DLC:

"Back to Karkand" released on the December of 2011,
"Close Quarters" released last month
"Armored Kill" will be available next September
"Aftermath" will be available in December
"End Game" will be available on March 2013

As stated above, Aftermath will be available this December although no exact dates have been mentioned. Regarding what to expect from this add-on, this is what the official site had to say:

Assassin's Creed 3 Story Info

In an unfortunate event for Ubisoft and fortunately for us, the story mode behind the Assassin's Creed 3 multiplayer was leaked. The leak happened from GameTrailers who uploaded the multiplayer trailer ahead of time.

As always it did not take long for them to rectify the error and they have since pulled it down. Seems they were not fast enough as some had actually been able to download the trailer off. Now there is a cat and mouse game going on between the uploaders and Ubisoft who are trying to ban all of the trailers. If you are lucky you can check out the trailer in the link below:

Assasin's Creed 3 Gameplay Info:

New Assassin's Creed 3 gameplay demo was revealed a few weeks back and a lot of new stuff was shown in that. The demo highlighted gameplay mechanics particularly related to the city environment unlike the previous demo which showed the gameplay in the wild Frontiers.

Players will get to experience two HUGE city locations in AC3 - one being New York and the other being Boston. Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director of AC3, presented the demo of the gamplay in the city of Boston. Sleeping Dogs Combat System

In almost every one of their interviews United Front Games have been emphasizing a lot about the combat mechanics in their upcoming game, Sleeping Dogs. The combat is supposed to be intuitive, amazing and fun.

Well in their behind the scenes trailer they might have finally revealed their secret weapon. The 'who', the person that might have helped them take the whole combat experience to another level. The trailer follows UFC Walter Weight Champion George St-Pierre's visit to United Front Games and his involvement with the team.

I don't know exactly what United Front Games and Square Enix are thinking but they must be thinking something.

First there was news about bonus content given to those who pre-order the game in US, you can get the "Police Protection Pack" by purchasing from Gamestop or the "Martial Arts Pack" when you purchase from Amazon.

Then there was news about the Limited Edition available in the UK. Anyone who pre-ordered the game in the UK would be receiving the Limited Edition at no extra charge. The Limited Edition contained the "Police Protection Pack" and the "George St-Pierre (GSP) Pack."
