Hey all welcome back to my seventh and most likely last post along my Minecraft journey! Last week I said that I had started a new world with more friends, but because this may be my last blog post about my Minecraft journey, I decided that it would be better just to rehash some of my favorite moments from the original game.

If you have been following my blog you would know that I had a lofty list of goals at the beginning that I never really achieved because I was either too dumb or too screwed to do them, but let's take a look at some of my finest achievements!

The AbleGamers Foundation recently released a document explaining how to implement accessibility into video games.

"Many of you have said to us, 'Okay. Accessibility is important. Now HOW do we implement accessibility?' And that's what this document is...", Mark Barlet, President of the AbleGamers Foundation.

Includification outlines many problems that disabled gamers face and how the developers can tackle this problem. One of the tools that are given to developers in this document is a checklist. This list outlines things such as: does your game have subtitles, colorblind assists and remappable keys?

As the document progresses it includes specific parts of a game such as the camera control and elaborates on that key aspect and how a certain disability might not be able to make large mouse movements while another may not be as precise.

Cloud gaming is a thing of the future. Developers and publishers alike widely accept this fact to be the truth. Even the rumors surrounding the next-gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox 720, suggest that they will be featuring similar cloud gaming services and that physical media is at the end of its life cycle.

Whether physical media has become obsolete or not is still left to be determined as I (amongst many others) would still prefer to have an actual copy of the game instead of just the digital version. I believe those without access super fast internet (if any) who share my sentiment.

When someone on the Legend of Grimrock's commented and asked about clickable on-screen arrow navigation for the upcoming Indie dungeon crawling game, developers said they had no plans to make said feature. When they found out that the comment came from a gamer with limited movement, they changed their plans and made it possible for people like the commenter (who goes by the handle name of HarpoonIPA), who uses a mouth stick for typing and gaming.

The Adroit was revealed at PAX Prime during the PAX panel Gamers Doing Good. I am having a hard time containing my excitement about Polish developer Flying Wild Hogs new game Hard Reset. With very little hype surrounding the game, and limited information it is hard to imagine that it is due to be released in September this year. Hard Reset is PC exclusive, and normally developers will pour at least a year of hype into new games before their release. The lack of community buzz, however, is not a comment on the games quality or superior development.

Currently there are a limited source of screenshots, one game play trailer, and one teaser trailer. Hard Reset is running a hard PR campaign that will only last the three months before its release in September.
