Next Gen Xbox Info
Next gen consoles are coming, there's no doubt about it. When though, is another question. The Wii U has managed to steal the show this year, similarly to the original Wii's release, but what we’re really waiting for is word of the big boys' new consoles. Both Sony and Microsoft have sent out dev kits of their new consoles, although word of what they contain and what each product consists of has been a closely kept secret.
Little to no news has emerged regarding the PlayStation 4 as of now; however, there has been a fair amount of speculation regarding the Xbox 720.
First off, is the name of the console; at first the new console was believed

Crysis 3 Info
Great graphics and high definition gameplay adds to immersion, and Crytek seem to think that this is a large selling point.
Crysis 2 was renowned to be one of the most graphically pleasing games in its time, and Crytek said Crysis 3 will be no different. In fact, Crytek have even gone so far to state that their new FPS will be more graphically impressive than any game released so far, and any other game releases for the next two years after that.
That's a big statement to make, but Cervat Yerli, chief executive of Crytek seems pretty confident with it.
In comparison to Epic Game’s Unreal Engine 4, Crysis' engine does

Gears and Metal Gear at VGAs
Although there has been little information regarding new game releases at the VGAs, there were a few announcements, including some new trailers and information on Gears of War Judgement, and a possible new Metal Gear Solid game.
The new Gears of War judgement trailer showed at VGA doesn't really give us any further insight into the story that takes place before Gears of War 1, but instead shows us some fast-paced action scenes that we have expected from previous GoW games.
If you're a fan of the Gears of War series then Judgment won't disappoint you, but to those without any experience playing any Gears of War titles, the new Judgment probably

Borderlands Gives SHiFT Keys
So the VGAs have come and gone, and many developers have been honored with awards for their games. Borderlands 2 developer Gearbox, earned in total 4 different awards at the VGAs, and as a company that started out relatively small, this is an amazing accomplishment.
Surprisingly, the biggest award Borderlands 2 took home from the VGAs was the award for the best shooter, and even with the hugely popular Halo 4 and Call of Duty Black Ops 2 being released this year as well, Borderlands 2 managed to grab the award, most likely due to its originality and overall unique combat scenarios.
On top of the best shooter award, Gearbox

Assassin's Creed Bug
It's rare that DLC ever causes problems, and usually if any download content does happen to have a major bug or glitch, it's usually postponed until fixed. However, every now and then players will come across a bug that has slipped past the game testers, and at times it can be totally game-breaking.
This is certainly the case for Hidden Secrets, a new download content pack available for Assassins’ Creed 3.
Players that have downloaded the new DLC are complaining that after first playing the game after installing the DLC, the game has erased nearly all of the player's progress and hard work back to 0% completion

Halo 4 DLC
Just a month after launch, Halo 4 has already got its first map pack. The Crimson map pack includes three new levels and is available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD).
If you have purchased the War Games season pass for 2000 points, or own the limited edition of Halo 4, you'll get this, and all future Halo 4 map packs for free.
The three new Crimson maps have been named Wreckage, Harvest, and Shatter, each with varying sizes and game modes available to play within War Games.
Wreckage is a medium sized asymmetrical map with which most of the area is filled with debris. There's plenty of cover areas and lots of winding paths and platforms, a perfect environment for tactical

Max Payne 3 DLC
Rockstar is still giving support to their older games, and even with Grand Theft Auto 5's release nearing, Max Payne 3 is still receiving new content.
Max Payne 3 Painful Memories was released on December 4th and adds more new avatars, weapons and maps to the already expansive content within Max Payne 3's multiplayer.
Four new maps have been added with this pack and provide a variety of different scenarios to play in. Canal De Panama and Shoot First are two maps which are mainly played upon different boats stationed in open water. Far Cry 3 Map Editor Revealed
In the recent years, gaming has evolved to a stage where the players' interactions with the games they play help to shape future games and any later content for that game, and without these interactions there would definitely be a huge gap in gaming as we see it today.
Whether this is customizing your character, or upgrading your weapons, many developers put these features into the game so that players can interact with the game mechanics and make their playthrough more unique and personalize their experience to their own liking.
Ubisoft is offering players a huge amount of player interaction in Far Cry 3, and a new map editor trailer for the game shows the creative

First Player Reaches Max Spartan Rank
Take your hat off to RU Deuce, a player that has managed to reach Spartan Rank 130, max out all specializations and hit the credit cap nearly every day in just a month after the game's release.
RU Deuce was lucky enough to get the game a whole week before release day on November 6th, so he already had a very large head start, but still, maxing out on a competitive FPS in such a short period of time is both impressive and shocking.
Looking back to Halo Reach, this wouldn't have been possible as a lot more time and effort had to be put into the ranking system, and it took around a year before the first player maxed out on Bungie's

Oddworld Returns
If you go back about 15 years in time, you'll be taken to a place where the concept of gaming was still quite new, and every new game was original in its own right. The PlayStation One was filled with games that widely differed between each other, and even with the limited hardware capabilities, some games had beautiful stories and a lengthy amount of gameplay available to enjoy.
Abe's Odyssey was one of those classics; the story was dark, but humorous, and the puzzles were extremely difficult to overcome, yet somewhat relaxing. Since then Oddworld have made other games, but none will ever compare to the beauty of Abe's Odyssey. And after EA acquired publishing rights of Oddworld's gaming,
