PS Plus Big on PS4
PlayStation Plus is a yearly subscription system that currently offers subscribers access to the Instant Game Collection, early access to demos and exclusive deals and content, faster automatic updates, bigger discounts and various other features for a price of $50.
Right now, PS Plus is available for the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita, but Sony seem eager to get it more strongly engrained into the PlayStation 4 ecosystem upon its release.
Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment expressed his thoughts on the PlayStation blog. "We definitely see PlayStation Plus as a core part of the way forward. We're not yet in a position to disclose our plans for the future of

Virtuix Omni Virtual Reality
At CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2013 a virtual reality headset by the name of the Oculus Rift was shown off, and it felt the closest to actually being in the game since man has dabbled in the field of VR. It didn't give any discomfort to the wearer, and despite the sudden change in environment, it didn't leave users feeling disorientated at all.
The Oculus Rift in my opinion is a great invention, but it kind of struck me that whilst the wearer was moving around their head in this alternate environment, their body was stuck motionless, and having a controller in-hand to control movement and other actions just seemed so out-of-place and it's

Next Gen Console Predictions
There's been a lot of talk about the two next generation consoles, the PS4 and the Xbox "Durango," but so far there hasn't really been any roundup or analyzing of what the new consoles will bring, and how games will be responded to by the gaming communities.
Below is a list of what I believe to follow in the next two to three years, however these are just speculations, so it could be right, but it could be wrong.
The PS4 Brings in More Hardcore Gamers
We all already know the PS4 will be packing more raw power than the next Xbox, and because of this the Xbox may have trouble competing with the PlayStation 4, especially

Borderlands 2 Sixth Class
After the world's terrible reception of Gearbox Software's most recent game, Aliens: Colonials Marines, the Randy Pitchford led developer team may have lost quite a large chunk of their fanbase. Players are already getting a bit tired of waiting for the level cap raise in Borderlands 2, and most players have most likely moved to other games.
That hasn't stopped the Borderlands team from pushing out more content though, and according to Randy Pitchford when asked on twitter about a possible new class, it was definite yes that they were "working on it."
There have been a few other instances of extra content being mentioned via twitter,

Gran Turismo 6 PS3
It's been believed for quite some time now that Gran Turismo 6 will be released for the PlayStation 4, however it may be a lot less likely than what we have come to think. In a recent interview with Silicon Republic, Michael Denny, senior vice-president of Sony WWS let slip what may have been a confirmation point for us on the release console for Gran Turismo 6.
"Look at the games coming out on the PlayStation 3 like The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, GT6, and then on the third-party side of things another fantastic Assassin's Creed, GTA." At first this may be a strange move, but if you look back to the previous generation of consoles, both the Xbox and the PlayStation

Battlefield 4 Confirmed
EA is one of the biggest games publishers out there, and with so many different franchises under its belt, it only makes sense that whilst some become extremely successful, others crash and burn, and sometimes never see the light of day.
A good example of this is the new Medal of Honor: Warfigher game. Despite its attempts to bring something slightly different into the FPS genre, the sales for the title were appalling compared to other popular FPS games, and it's a bullet that EA has had to take hard to the chest.
EA is gathering its assets though, and killing off those that aren't beneficial to the producer's success ratings. For this reason

PS4 Launch
On February 20th, Sony unveiled the PlayStation 4. Well, there wasn't actually a physical unveiling of the console, much to everyone's dismay, however details on the PS4's hardware specifications and it's future capabilities were shown and revealed, as well as a few launch titles for the console. If you're not all that interested in what actually makes the PS4 tick, and are more interested in what games the next-gen Sony console will have to offer at launch, then you're in for a treat as Sony spent a lengthy amount of time showing off some next gen titles that will hopefully reach retail this holiday season.

Destiny Info.
So Bungie has given the world a preview into the world of Destiny. Although no gameplay footage was shown, we've been given a bit more insight into how the game will work, and what we can find within the game.
Always on Connection
This was a big gripe for some players, an always on connection just doesn't make sense when you don't need the connection constantly to play the game, however with Destiny it makes a little more sense, and according to Bungie, bad connections won't affect your connection too badly.
"Activision has run a site-specific infrastructure on the world's biggest multiplayer game for several years. While you can play campaign in Call of Duty

GoW RTS
According to vgleaks, a new Gears of War title is being worked on other than the current Judgment game which rolls out before the events of Emergence day. The new game is told to be a real time strategy game, which sounds like an interesting concept: Halo Wars was developed for Bungie by Ensemble Studios and saw quite a large amount of success, so a Gears of War based RTS could work as well.
What ruins the potential for me though, however, is that the new Gears of War title is supposedly a Kinect only title. Previously we saw RARE take hold of all the casual-based IPs and turn them into Kinectrosities, but it seems now Microsoft has got hold of Epic and told them to make their own game completely Kinectified.
